I gave this dealership a two star rating. First the positives- Stopped for a visit while on vacation with my family in the black hills. My family and I felt very welcome in the dealership, ended up discussing bikes with Bret (salesman) which turned into me purchasing a bike from this dealership. Bret went out of his way and did a lot of leg work to make this happen with his time and patience. Negatives- Being from out of town and on vacation I had asked my bike to be shipped to me. According to Black Hills HD delivery is "quick and painless usually within 6 days". Well... Almost a month later I finally get my bike and notice one of the items($11 item) that was to be included with the sale and was "in the saddlebag" was NOT in the saddlebag. I had sent e-mails to the sales manager and GM of the store with no response back, and still have yet to receive the item that I was suppose to have. If your from out of town buying a bike from this place, negotiate items you want with the bike and TAKE THEM WITH YOU! Once they get your signature, you are no longer important to this company. If you can take the bike with you, do it! This company will tell you something and not deliver with what they tell you.

Black Hills Harley is a nice big store with lots of neat inventory. It is a great place to purchase souveniers, but I would not recommend purchasing a motorcycle from them. We purchased a brand new bike in 2011, and it was a very exciting time for us. Unfortunately, we ended up feeling scammed by the employees at BH Harley. They would not let us say no to the extended service plan and warranty. We feel we were scammed into buying something that we really didnt need and ultimately didnt want. It was sad to see how unethical the financing and sales team seemed to be as soon as they knew we had money to spend. Additionaly, when we needed help from them after we purchased the bike, they continued to conduct business in a dishonorable way. This location is pretty amazing to see, but I will never purchase a motorcycle from them again.

Came to rapid city to pick up my newly painted 2008 FLHP Ultra from a friend. Had electrical issues after riding it a couple days. Took it to Black Hills Harley and they were great . Fixed it and sent me on my way . Issue was I got 15 miles and it was worse than before . Stranded no cell service. Got thru to them and they sent someone to pick me up . Took me back set me up with a bike to ride . Worked on it the next day and found a bundle of problems. Got over 1000 miles in 4 days not a problem . Great people in the service department. Everyone was great everywhere in the store . Kudos to the entire staff .

This was my first purchase from them I was just on there web site and found them to be much cheaper than my Chicago land H D dealers even with shipping cost include. II plan on doing business with them in the future and stopping in on my way to Sturgis. well worth the time to check them out.

Visited the guys at Black Hills Harley Davidson last year on vacation and had a great experience talking with the sales guys. They were super knowledgeable and had a mind blowing selection to choose from a Heritage Softail to an Ultra Classic and everything in between. The showroom is amazing and the pro shop is even better! Would recommend my friends to check it out if you are ever out that way.

This is the worst dealership I have been too. Waited 8 hours for a new tire. I finally left. Wasted the whole day. I bought the bike last year there. Even then they missed a sure inspection point on a used Harley they should had caught. Waited the 9 hours for a fix then too. If I could give you no star I would.

What can I say? They saved my vacation. I rolled into town 850 miles from home when my trusty steed gave out. Four hours later they had her as good as new. There is much more to this story and I usually bore my friends with it, but for now I will say "Thank you, thank you, thank you Black Hills HD".

We had a great experience both times we have went in. We went and looked at bikes the first day and the salesmen were very friendly. The second time we went in we needed to order a part for our bike and the salesman was very helpful and courteous. We definitely will be going back to do business again.

On the road, and had a rear shock start to leak, stopped in and they immediately figured out that the shock was blown and needed a replacement, an hour later I was back on the road. Great job, great service, great people.

If you want souvenirs, then this is the place to go. The store is large and very nice. However, if you want a bike, then save yourself about $3-$4K and drive an hour or two west to Sundance or Gillette.
