I just closed on my home a few weeks ago and just got done doing the review that Texas Lending sent me and I though it might also be valuable for me to rate my experience here on google. I will be honest one of the ONLY reasons I chose Texas Lending was because I was promised a rapid turn around. I was assured by Brad a lending agent ALL paperwork was done in house and they could close in as little as 2 weeks. That impressed me and so I moved forward. We had sold our home and was looking for a home for nearly 2 months. It was a VERY stressful time for my family. We finally found our home and wanted to close asap to get in our new place as school was starting ect. Once the deal came through the Texas Lending office we got the run around. We complied as fast as we could getting Debbie the underwriter everything she needed. We ended up having to move our close date 2 times towards the end. I found it VERY hard to get a hold of Brad my lender agent with Texas Lending towards the end when my deal got hung up in underwriting several times for stupid reasons. One being that they showed an HOA when the property never has had an HOA. I felt like Brad ignored my calls and I was forced to wait on hold while the operator found a manager to speak with me just so I could get updated information. Debbie the underwriter was very rude to me and stated on more then one occasion for me not be so stressed out ( Having to move my close date twice when I had movers, flooring and school starting ... being stressed was an understatement.) I would not recommend Texas Lending if your looking for a company that will move fast.

We had the most amazing experience with Texas Lending getting our mortgage refinanced. Fidel and Mariam were outstanding!! They were extremely friendly, made sure things moved as quickly as we were comfortable with, kept us fully informed at all times and were so helpful in answering all of our questions quickly. I know this process is second-nature for them, but they had such patience with us, explaining each step along the way and made themselves available at all times. We attempted to do a refi with our (then) current mortgage company and we were two months in with no real progress, never received any communications from them and were never available to answer our questions. Within 3 weeks with Texas Lending, we started, filed, finished and had our loan funded. I am so glad we switched to Texas Lending for our refinance. My only regret is not doing it sooner!

We started our loan process with a different company and the process stalled due to their inability to understand our complex situation that involves multiple entities, trusts, and business ownership. I called Texas Lending because I have heard their jingle on the radio for what seems like 10 years or more. We were assigned to Chris Johnson and from the first phone call I explained our situation and he took the ball, ran with it, and did not look back. From the first phone call on July 20th to closing today, August 25th we have been provided with excellent customer service and responsiveness. What is truly amazing is that during this period, Chris had a week of scheduled vacation and still closed our loan within 35 days. We will definitely use and refer to Texas Lending anytime.

What a waste of time, everything seems great up front, quick to respond, quick to go over credit. but 3 months ago as we approached closing all of a sudden what we agreed on wasnt anything close to what they offered. my credit score took a big hit from them and I was out of pocket for an appraisal. now 3 months later, they promise to make it right if made a few changes, so made them, they give me the refi offer I want up front. now 3 days before closing the terms are off again! payment higher and the closing cost changed by 6k. SHADY!!! Follow up after closing, not only was the deal shady from the start, they sold me to DiTEch !! look them up, they are the worst possible mortgage lender on earth. all 1* rating, and now I have to deal with them. I should have stayed with wellsfargo!

Grant was informative and easy to talk to. My experience seemed to me to be much different than my previous purchase in 1998 most likely due to new rules and regulations which is no fault of Grants. I also felt that the attention to details, final details, were over looked for instance my Relator didnt have the 50K down in contract, however with Texas Lending I signed forms and repeated what amount I was putting down on many occasions and of course at closing I was left doing a deal for 37K down versus 50k and the idea was to get the P&I down. None the less there were multiple players in this error that I felt I should have been notified on prior to closing. Hence the reason I gave an 4 out of 5.

We have been working with Brenn Miller for the purchase of our new home and we have a very tight timeframe to get this completed, but Brenn immediately started working on our application and even took time out of his personal schedule to help us get the documents delivered to him. Brenn is very responsive, has great attention to detail and does an outstanding job. I am very demanding and want things done immediately and I expect an immediate response to my inquiries and Brenn delivered every single time. Daniel was professional and thorough throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain each step and his follow-up was exceptional. Once my loan had reached the administrative aspect of the process, Terra was as helpful and patient with all our concerns and questions. Each day I would receive an email letting me know where we were in the process and what was expected of me. Any and all questions were either answered by email or phone within moments of being asked. There were no surprises and the process went according to what I was being told. I would definitely recommend Texas Lending for any of your financing or refinancing needs.

We had an amazing experience working with Texas Lending. Chris, Juan, and the rest of the team were amazing. They are very responsive, and definitely understand the sensitivity and importance of your financial situation. They have a solution for you no matter what your situation is. I have had their team members send me communication as early as 8am in the morning and as late as 7pm at night. This only showed me that they care about our business and are working diligently towards making and keeping us as their long time customers. Terrible customer service. Its tough to get a call back or any kind of follow up from their agents. No respect. Going with a different Lender. Update: Daniel did reach out to me and let me know how sorry he was after this review was posted. Overall, as a first time home buyer, the process buying my 1st home was really smooth. I actually did not experience any headaches after we smoothed things out. Terra, the process agent was responsive and got us approved fast and before you know it, we closed. They recommended John Papadopoulos our realtor and he was incredible! It was a rocky start, but they came through for my family. Thanks Texas Lending!

I first contacted Ken Knight at Texas Lending in the summer of 2016, he was very frank with me and gave me great advice. I called again in January 2017 and was ready then to refinance my home. I really appreciate the way Ken walked me through the refinancing step by step even though my situation was a difficult one. I would totally recommend both Ken and Diana Dunn to anyone doing a refinance or a home loan. They are great team. My husband and I purchased our first home in the DFW area, and the process of finding the right home and winning the bid in such a competitive market was a challenge, but the financing was easy. Our loan officer, Bob Boldt, was very informative and helped us get pre-approved, so we were ready to go once our offer was excepted. Everyone that we talked to was professional and helpful throughout the process, and because we were prepared... we closed in just 18 days. When I applied for the loan, Michael Melton assured me that I would be able to get the loan. Although there were quite a bit of papers that needed to be put together, Michael had been diligent in following up so as to ensure that I could get the loan asap. I am very satisfied with his service because things went as expected. Michael Melton has 8 years of experience in the mortgage and lending business and knows what he is doing. This has been the worst experience, I was constantly given mis-information, no follow up by agent. Called to speak with a supervisor to just get called back by original agent stating there were no other agents in the office that could handle my "type" of loan. Then was told again my closing costs had doubled from 2nd "estimate". This experience was stressful and awful!!!

I called the number, and the woman that answered seemed to have no idea what I was talking about, nor did she seem interested in trying to understand. Bad Bad experience...i lost all my money and apartment and me and my family basically were on the street because of this people here.They make us move from other county promising 100% loan for the house,we pay appraisal ,inspections,give ernest money and day before closing they cancel the loan.Shame on you people i wish i can give -5 stars
