UPDATE: Well, I signed up and then was notified of a Flood exclusion (if a warning, watch or advisory alert was issued before 9/8 @ 12:02 AM) that a "flood in Progress" exclusion would apply and there would be no coverage for flooding as a result of Irma. Lowering my "star" rating as I would have appreciated that awareness when I signed up. The only information was that I would be covered effective on 9/8 so long as I signed up on Wednesday ... no mention of any flood in progress exclusion. With Irma approaching this week, I thought it might have been too late to get Flood Insurance. But no ... Kim Harlin to the rescue! Kim called with a reasonable alternative to FEMA insurance and at a competitive rate with an only 3 day waiting period. Believe I may approach Augustyniak with my auto and home owners needs when those policies come up for renewal. Excellent customer service.

After starting to work with another insurance agency and having trouble, I called Augustyniak. Mardi was great and made the process easy and painless. We had insurance that we were happy with (and understood) by the next day. As first time home buyers, we were very grateful to Mardi and Augustyniak for doing the insurance shopping for us and steering us in the right direction.
