This will be a long job due to two tunnels. Will Fix It prepped for them by exposing the front yard sewer completely and digging holes in the front yard and back patio. This was done over ten days when we were out of town. Then it took ten more days for the excavators to hand dig two tunnels exposing most of both the main and supplemental lines under the slab. They removed the debris from the site daily. When they were done Juan P and his assistant chipped loose all the existing pipe to be removed. Then they replaced the pipe and made rebar supports for the new pipe. They kept us informed every step of the way. They then connected and tested the new pipe - it passed. That evening Juan had SAWS come out and OK the work they had to do to straighten the pipe on their side. They finished about 3am. We are now waiting for a City inspection and the site will be cleaned, broken lawn sprinkler pipe repaired and the system tested for leaks, the tunnels and the front yard ditch filled and sod replaced. I go through all this to show what a complex project this was. Will Fix It people were all total professionals in their knowledge, courtesy, and hard work. Juan P. was here most of the time except when the excavators were working, but would come and inspect their work. Juan is a top man and we really appreciated his presence on our job.
I initially had another plumbing company come out and look at an AC water leak in my attic. Someone was supposed to come by between 6 to 8pm. The guy finally gets to my house late at almost 9pm with no phone call. Not only was this guy rude but he made it clear he did not want to work with his body language. He spends about five minutes in the attic and tells me with absolute certainty where the leak is coming from. I questioned his reason for the leak which he clearly did not appreciate. Long story short he then spends 15 minutes trying to get me to buy either a new condenser unit ($3,000) OR a whole new AC unit ($10k+). I tell him no thanks and see him out. I immediately call Will Fix It for a second opinion. Will Fix It sent out Sergio D. Sergio shows up on time with a half hour heads up call. He was very nice. He answered all my questions (I had a lot). When he went up in the attic he took the time to look at all possibilities for the leak. He finally discovered, with trial and error, a clog in the drain pipe immediately connected to the AC unit (I had already cleared the accessible part of the drain pipe earlier). A fairly simple fix ends up saving me thousands of dollars. I highly recommend Sergio and Will Fix It.
Sergio D. performed the annual service check of our A/C system and through his careful and competent work he observed that we had a leak in the evaporation coil of one of our units and it was low on refrigerant. He added refrigerant and arranged for the coil to be replaced, ensuring that the coil was under part warranty and we would only pay the labor costs. A few days later, he returned to install the replacement coil. Again, his work was excellent: he checked to make sure everything was operating properly and I appreciated his ability to communicate effectively the problem and the solution both orally and in writing. My only complaint is with his company: Sergio was not the technician originally dispatched to return and perform the installation of the replacement coil. The technician that was sent was not familiar with my system, was confused about his paperwork, and did not know how to operate the thermostat. Sergio was sent only after I complained that he should be there as he was the one who diagnosed the problem and understood my A/C system.
This was my first experience with Will Fix It services. I am pleasantly surprised on how prompt their response was to my plumbing issue and Jorge R provided excellent customer service. He readily collaborated with me on the best resolutions to a leaky bathroom sink and he explained what happened and how it happened. Who knew that my AC drip was routed to my guest bathroom sink? I surely didn’t and last month when the AC repairman cleaned out my AC lines, the “gunk” was blown right into that pipe in the bathroom. What I really loved about Jorge’s service is that he also provided me with several other easy maintenance tasks I could perform to mitigate future problems with clogged sinks. He educated me on the best merchants to purchase high quality fixtures and recommended future enhancements to my water heater and plumbing. (I think a water softener will be next on my “to-do” list.) Jorge was friendly and courteous. Thank you Jorge! Will Fix It-keep hiring high quality employees like Jorge!
I had 2 tubs and 2 toilets backing up, so I called Will Fix It. On Thursday, Adam S. showed up to give a free estimate. What he found, unfortunately, was shifted sewer pipes with roots penetrating through. We were shown proof by video. My Wife & I agreed to replace the sewer line. A little later Roger M. and Walter showed with a back-hoe and started removing the 30 yr old sewer pipes we had. To my astonishment, Adam & Walter stayed til around 8pm/9pm and finished installing the new line & clean-out so that our family could have use of our facilities!!! I did not expect that. We had to wait though the weekend for the City to inspect the work. On Monday, inspection was done & passed. Later that day Adam S. and Joseph A. returned to cover up the hole. We are very impressed with the courtesy & concern that everyone showed. Everyone, especially Adam, was sincere, honest & thorough. They went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the work they did from start to finish.
I had two providers(Joseph and Austin) service an apartment for me. There was a water leak from shower that was flowing to ceiling downstairs. They located the leak and repaired it. The cost was outrageous. $180 just to cut ceiling and look for leak. They next cut a whole in another wall, where they could see the leak but not make repairs. Lastly, the needed to move one panel on the shower to access and repair leak. The cost for this was $715. In all the whole job lasted about 2 hrs. They have you sign a form releasing them from liability of damage for what they destroy. By the way, I had to hire someone else to repair the damage they caused. When asked why the extreme cost, it was explained that they are bonded and I am paying for their expertise. I proceeded with this as my tenants were already inconvenienced enough. Subsequently, I dis enrolled from their home service program and do not recommend them.
Ramiro is a professional all the way. He did not waste our time telling us things we wanted to hear, rather he asked questions about the age of the units, the repair history, and gave us an idea of what could be occurring. After looking over all of the units, he changed the capacitor and then told us that was necessary, but that our upstairs unit was bad and was putting a strain on the units outside. We were happy to find out what has been causing our upstairs unit to go out each year and we are relieved to know that all of our units will have a longer life by replacing the one upstairs. Ramiro was honest and gave us the best solution without suggesting that we change our whole system out. We are very thankful for his wonderful service and his vast experience. My husband, Jerry Linebarger and I, want to highly recommend this fine man and appreciate his integrity and professionalism.
Mario O. was the air condition tech that was sent to my home from Will Fix It about a year ago. I was very pleased with the service that I received from Mario. He was easy to ask questions, he knew the answers and never made me feel like I was ignorant for asking a certain or any questions. He was friendly and he was honest. Since that year I have had several different repairs done to an air conditioner that is very very old and I am trying to keep it until I am able to get a new system. Every time that I have needed any air conditioning repairs my first and only request is that Mario O be the tech sent to my home. I know that he is knowledgeable,concise, Honest, and will do what is needed .I also know that it will be done correctly! I will always request Mario O!! Contacted them to come out to my business to fix the AC unit which went out the entire time all he tried to do was sell me on a new unit put the blower motor in wrong and left came back the second time to put it in correctly and put it on the wrong speed then rewired stuff wrong which blew out my control board which I had to pay for long story short never repaired anything correctly sent me to collections because I refuse to pay for a job not done correctly still have no AC and they see no wrong in what they did technician lied multiple times to try to get me to buy a new unit San Antonio service Hub is horrible their senior technician was came out and even he admitted all the faults that the repair person did and stated that everything he told me to try to get me to buy a new unit was a lie do not use this service at all
Mario, Diagnosed my Air Conditioner trouble after performing tests. He discovered the fan was drawing excessive current and the compressor also was drawing excessive current as well beyond the normal specification. The compressor system is over 12 years and uses R-22 Freon, which is no longer manufactured. This factored in my decision to replace whole system vice repairing. Mario provided detailed information as to what they Will Fix It team will do to remove old and install new system. He is person that I will request in the future should need arise to seek his expertise. My 30 years experience as Technical Project Manager, watching Mario work and his verbal skills covey confidence in his own abilities to address troubleshooting system failures quickly. Hector Davila
I have been using Will Fix It for a couple of years, consistently now, I have been provided with excellent service, from the moment I place the call to the moment the technicians walk out of my door with a completed repair. Not only is service great, they always suggest the best product, in the most economical way, I have always felt they put the customer first. We had an appointment with Will Fix It this morning between 8:00 & 12:00. I got an eta call that the technician coming to perform our scheduled service tune up would be here in 45 minutes. Sure enough, almost to the minute, Delton Brown arrived! He explained what he would be doing and went to work. While he was still up in the attic, I went out to ask him a question that he gladly answered and I appreciate that very much. Before he left, he went over a couple of recommendations he had suggested on his service report, as well as just a few simple maintenance things we could do to extend the life of our AC/HEATING unit. I felt Delton had been very thorough and professional, as well as friendly! I hope to see him next time. Michael Knight
Mr. Mario Olivares was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He laid out all of our options and let us decide which option worked best for us. Aside from fixing our problem, he was very helpful in giving us tips on how to properly maintain some parts of our A.C. system in order to prevent future issues. I was thrilled that Will Fix It has 24 hour service and was able to help us on a Sunday afternoon when our A.C. suddenly went out and it was almost 100 degrees outside. Our family and pets were extremely uncomfortable and Mr. Mario saved the day! I was very happy with my experience with Mr. Mario and Will Fix It and will definitely be using them again in the future.
