I called Wolfman Chimney and Wildlife to sweep and inspect two chimneys at my house. Neither chimney was drawing properly. Wolfman cancelled once due to rain and the hazards of walking on a wet roof. This second appointment was set for 2:00 to 4:00 pm. By 4:30 Wolfman had not showed and I called the office. I got a call from John and he arrived at 4:57 pm. He got to work immediately and cleaned both chimneys from below. The indoor chimney was very dirty and a lot of creosote came down into the firebox. He cleaned everything up nicely and moved onto the patio fireplace. I tested the indoor fireplace and it was drawing properly. By this time it was dark. No roof side inspection was done and the chimney cap was not inspected on either chimney. John was pulling out of my driveway one hour after he arrived. I paid $277.00 for one hour of labor. That is too much. The work that was done was completed properly. John was neat and clean and knew his job. I thought the price charged was too high considering a roof side inspection was not done. If the original appointment time had been kept darkness would not have been a factor and I would have received a complete inspection.

Wolfman Chimney cleaned my chimney and dryer vent today. They were very accommodating with scheduling around my work. The owner was very professional and clean-cut. He explained everything thoroughly to me. I have confidence that my house is safer now that both chimney and dryer vent have been cleaned. He also noted the condition of my chimney from the roof view, which I was glad to hear was in good shape without any rotten wood or other problems. I feel like I got a fair price. I signed up for annual cleanings, so they will remind me each year when it is time to clean the chimney, if it is needed.

Had Wolfman Chimney come out to our home. We just purchased it a year ago and wanted to be sure that the fireplace was clean and in good shape. The Tech came out and was honest, the chimney was clean and did not need to be cleaned. But he did tell us what our home inspector missed. So, we are having them come do repairs and install a new Cap. Honest is a key for us! We do not paying for repairs, and the fact he uses local contractors for his caps makes it nice as well. Local helping Local!

John called to give me a heads up that he is on his way to do the service on our chimney which has not been used since we bought the house 3 years ago. He cleaned the fireplace really well, the area was left clean and neat. He demonstrated to me how to safely turn on the gas fireplace, which was very helpful. This is our first time hiring the service and it was a very pleasant experience. John is very courteous and very knowledgeable! Excellent job!!!
