Alright I was in the market to find a mortgage. I met someone from BofE reco my real estate broker not to mention any names but I completed the loan application, I told BofE I was uncomfortable with the 1% fee they called a normal fee for a mortgage. I informed that I feel the fee was not normal, later after doing some research on my own. I learned that $1750 was not normal and many companies will process your loan w/o origination fees. After learning this information they then offered to waive the fee after I caught them in a fabrication. I have no idea who you do business with but rewarding someone who tried to screw you over is not the type of customer I would like to be. Furthermore, I fired the mortgage broker, and he still charged me an appraisal fee. He gave me the appraisal 2 days before I close on my home through another company. I am not happy with the way they do business, I find they lack integrity, I find they take advantage or people who do not do their research. I close on loan in record and I paid $0 in loan origination cost. BUYER BEWARE MORE TO COME,

I highly recommend using Bank of England. As a Realtor, I work with many lenders but the guys at Bank of England are very unique for several reasons. 1) They are very easy to get ahold of. They literally give you their cell phone number, not just the office number. 2) They treat you like family and will walk you through the whole process even holding your hand if you need them to. 3) You will always know way ahead of time when your closing date will be and you will close on time. I have been working with Nicholas Thors for two years now and every transaction has been super smooth and closed on time. My customers love him! For these reasons (and many more), I always recommend Bank of England to my buyers before we begin our home search process.

Bank of England is a bank without the large bank mentality, because they are smaller and therefore work harder to earn your business. Their staff was friendly and professional, they have a beautiful location for which I was able to meet the entre staff - much more personable than just dealing with a voice on the other end of the phone. The entrie process was quick and painless, they took excellent care of me and my loan was closed in timely manner with a great rate. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a home mortgage. They really are the Good Guys of their industry !!

Daniel Halvorsen and Robyn Mixon really made the home buying process simple for my husband and I. They were easy to reach, and assisted us with whatever we needed. Daniel told us that we would be able to close on our home in 30 days using our VA loan. I have to admit I had some doubts because other people told us it would be a minimum of 45 days to close.
