My wife and I had already selected a competitor for our windows, but had not sealed the deal based on the timing they had offered for installation. Not only did the other company give us an install date of 12 weeks out but that would have put our install in December. Because of this we were planning on waiting until February to make the purchase and get the work done in the May/June timeframe. After getting calls every few days from the other company and then being threatened about how much the price we were quoted would likely go up if we wait to book the order. We decided to look elsewhere and thankfully found Hansons Windows. We loved everything about our interaction with Larry, he was pleasant and personable and had a zero pressure approach from the start. We told him what we had lined up with the competitor and never once did he bad mouth them. Then he gave us our quote which was quite a bit lower than the competitor. We were especially impressed with the 6-8 weeks timeline that we were promised. The main windows were all installed at our timeframe along with a custom window! Great company, great products, great owner, great service!!!!

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Our experience was a nightmare, to say the least. The sales rep, Kris, came out to our house and was very nice. He gave us his whole pitch and we signed the papers that day for our new windows. Things went downhill fast when the installers came out. They were rude and left a huge mess behind. Did not clean up at all, I had dirt, dust and whatever they carried in on their shoes from outside. Kris promised us a wonderful experience and stated you will not even know they were there. Trust me, they left their mark. This was just the tip of the iceberg with this company. Every time I have talked to anyone, they give me a different story. Kris said he would take care of everything for us and not to worry about a thing. The only contact I have had with him was on my behalf. It has been 3 weeks since we have even heard from him. He was more concerned about the great review I told him I would write about him (this was 3 weeks ago). We have 4 more windows in our home that need to be replaced, we will be looking elsewhere.

After looking at a few other companies we choose Hansons to put in new windows for us. The windows that we had replaced are very large and I was worried if they were going to be installed correctly. After I called and made the appointment a sales man by the name of James Benner, really nice guy he was a joy to talk too. He arrived early which was a good sign for me and he was very knowledgeable about the company and there products. He spent almost two hours with myself and my husband. After a nightmare experice with a contractor for our front porch I wanted to be sure. He answered all of our questions and did not rushed through the appointment. Unlike Wall Side Windows who will NEVER get a call from us again. When everything was set up the installers came and they too arrived early and put my kitchen window in 37mins!!!!! They have my business for life I am very happy with HANSON!!

Daniel and Company did a good installation of the windows. The big snafu began during the inspection, seems that the checklist did not take into account that lower windows panes within two feet of a door entrance must be of safety glass. I reported this and about five weeks later the installation crew arrive with two lower windows with safety class panes. Problem, both windows were the sames size, not so. This is an older house with windows of varying size. So about 4 or five weeks later the installation was completed with the proper window size safety glass pane. The follow up with Judy P waa courteous and helpful. When I inquired about the city window inspection I was informed that Hansons inspection department would contact me with a set of available inspection dates. Other than the safety windows panes error the Hansons experience was good.

Hansons was wonderful to work with. They called to let us know what was going on and when there would be a delay. This is rare with contractors. Our sales rep, Ed P., was great! He know what he was talking about and did not push any issue. We had a slight problem and a question and John R. R., the Superintendent, came to our home and settled the issue without any problem. He also came to replace a cracked piece and answered all our questions without hesitation. He was to the point, concise and very cordial. Also the crew was very nice. No loud music. No bad language. and worked very efficiently. Thank you Hansons for the new roof and windows. We have already noticed a difference in our electric/gas bill and have monitored it with a temperature gauge. The difference in temperature (and the bill) speak for itself. TnT

SO RUDE! i wish someone would of told us how crappy these people were before we agreed to get a new roof first they said it was only going to be 2,000 than they tore the roof off and said it was a complete tear off and it came out to be 6,000, there were ciggarette butts all over they left spots all over my car from whatever they spray on the roof nails and shingles were all over my backyard than 2 months later bubbles started appearing on our ceiling and started caving in because they forgot to put a flashing now they wont pay for it at all said it wasnt there fault, please do not go to them and go to a smaller company who actually cares about there customers because all these people care about is money!

I was pleased with the attitude of Joey. He didnt waste a lot of time with small talk. He was very thorough with explaining to me my option and making sure i received the best deal for my money and time. He came out to the house, on short notice when he was supposed to have been off the clock. High energy, warm greeting at at times very humorous. He is definitely a great asset to The Hanson Windows Installation. Roofing, Insulation Installation team. I am looking forward to the new roof that ive purchased. If the roofers do as good a job installing my new roof as Joey did selling it, i have no reservations that Iam going to be satisfied with the work. Thanks again, Joey & Hansons

I considered working with Weather Guard and Mr. Roof. I chose 1-800-Hansons because they provided the same type of materials as Mr. Roof for a lower cost. Though 1-800-Hansons was more expensive than Weather Guard, their commitment to the project details and quality made me more comfortable working with their company. I was also pleased with their estimated schedule for the project, which 1-800-Hansons adhered to completely. I liked the people who came out. I liked their dedication and quality of work. They completed the job well and cleaned up. Bottom line, I was extremely satisfied with the experience, it was my first experience with Hansons and everything went well!

We had Hansons come out and give us an estimate on new windows for our house. They were the only ones who took the time to demonstrate the windows and really talk through all the options that were available to us. The price that they gave was the best price we found for windows that will keep the heat in and give us the efficiency that we wanted. The Crew that came to install the windows has been very professional even though they did crack a window. They got all the windows in in one day and only had to finish up outside stuff on the second day. Everything looks really great and we are very happy with the choice that we made! We would recommend Hansons to anyone!

I recently had my roofing replaced along with the ACS package for the attic. My house is quite old and we let it go for too long.... Resulting in allot of roof and attic damage. Hansons was great - from the very first meeting to the tear off, replacement, clean up and attic ACS application. Everyone had a solution and all the crew staff did a great job. I am very happy with the great work and wonderful crew that did such a good job. I was looking for both a roof solution and an attic solution and Hansons provided both at a very good price. Thank you to everyone at Hansons for doing such a good job. I appreciate you all very much. :)

The representatives from Hansons working the annual booth at the Michigan Renaissance Festival are despicable individuals. I have and will continue to give donations upwards of 2K to the MI Renn Fest in hope that this these ridiculous sales people will someday disappear. Please help support the faire and oust this annoyance. My poor experiences with this store began 3 years ago when they took so long and no-showed so many times that they violated their own contract. A note to corporate: your commercials are awful. Your marketing and advertising departments need to know they are losing potential customers simply by being irritating.

During this tough economic time, replacing my windows was not on my to-do list. However, we were losing so much heat through the old windows we had and decided to have a few home improvement companies give us estimates on how much it would cost to replace them. Our Hansons Window rep, Ben, was the third person to come out, and he could not have done a better job – he was very nice and explained everything thoroughly. Hansons works with you no matter what your financial situation is and they did an excellent job. We are SO happy with our new windows. Our energy bills are a fraction of what they used to be and they look amazing.

I had my "architectural window" installed this past week. The crew was a great "face of the company" when they came to work. My experience from start to finish was a wonderful example of what a company is and how it operates. This was a polar opposite experience from the one I had a few years back with Hansons. I was getting two and three phone calls PER DAY concerning my window replacement needs. I finally got the calls to stop, but I had to threaten legal action to get that to happen. Not so this time. I am amazed at the difference in the corporate psychology that has taken place. Great job everyone, including, Tony and Johnny.

I was very happy with the overall service for replacing my windows. I was pleased with how quickly I was able to get an appointment to get an overview of the product and an estimate, I was happy with the communication from the team to let me know what was going on every step of the way from my order to my installation, and I was very happy with the installers, Marty Brace and Ricky. They arrived on time, very professional and friendly, explained the entire process, gave me a demo, and made sure I had all my questions answered. They were very good about not making a mess during the installation and cleaning up afterwards. Thank you!

Well called Hansons to have a salesperson come to my mother-in-laws house to get a price on 14 windows for her. Her husband passed away and she had to move to Texas and put the house up for sale. She needs windows to help sell house, well lady on phone said they would not come out to quote because she is not here and I do not have power of attorney. Then proceeded to argue with me saying that it was against the law to give a quote to a non homeowner. I asked her if I could talk with a supervisor and she told me they would tell me the same thing. I find it bazaar that a company would pass up an opportunity to make money.

Just had 9 windows replaced. They look great! Cristal and Tammy were very helpful and kept us updated on the progress of our order, time our work crew would arrive, and a follow-up call to make sure we were satisfied. Cristal made sure our warranty was activated promptly. The pre- and post-work checklist is detailed and provides a lot of confidence in the work. Tim and his crew worked quickly and cleaned up very well. It is going to be very nice to be able to open the windows and let the cooling breezes waft through the house, especially in our family room where we spend most of our time.

We had Hansons come out to give us a quote on replacement windows on our lower walk out level and the experience was amazing. We were able to get a better window at the same price as another quote. We selected them to do the work and the crew came out exactly as scheduled and did a great job on the install. Very professional and courteous. After the install the crew lead walked through the job with me and wanted to make certain all my expectations were met before they left. I have to say I think they left the area cleaner than it was when they had arrived. Very pleased and recommend them highly.
