Overall I’d say we had an excellent experience with Mike Sarris. This warm and affable man, came to our home and appraised us on every aspect of his trade in a concise and professional manner. I was impressed by his professionalism, his candor and his knowledge of the industry. He expounded on materials and methods, employing technical briefs, brochures and visual aids, to provide us with a slew of options which best suited our needs. A few heartwarming anecdotes lent a bit of levity to his delivery by the way. Although there were a few rough spots in the beginning, I found Mike, the support staff, workers and operators to be more than accommodating. Prompt and courteous, they made sure to clean up afterwards. Additionally, any concerns we may have had about the process (and there were a few), were promptly assuaged. Likewise, any apprehensions about the job overall were met to our satisfaction. In conclusion, I highly recommend basement Systems.

Despite the rain on the first day the crew got right to work and didn’t waste a moment. They brought all of the tools, materials, and spare items needed. Their foreman Scott, was very professional, polite, a good leader, a good communicator, easy to work with, eager to do things correctly, concerned with job safely, and more than willing to answer any questions I had. The other two crewmen, Josh and Adam were also very fast, able, friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. I was very impressed by the manner in which they performed their work. They succeeded in both supporting and then raising my sunken wall footer back to level. This is no small thing considering the muddy mess of a job site that the rain had created. The job was started and completed on time and the crew didn’t even complain about the mud.

We just had a second project completed by foreman Andy C. and his crew and they did an amazing job! We had flood damage several years ago and decided to finally do something about it. The first project they did was a home office in part of the basement and Andy and his crew did such a good job we had them come back and do the rest of the basement and it turned out wonderful! They really made sure things got done correctly, were a pleasure to work with, did really great work and left the place clean. The project took a little longer than the sales rep promised but the end result was worth it. Andy and his crew are masters of their skills and do top notch work! I would highly recommend choosing them to transform your basement into the basement you really want.

Foreman Matt and his crew installed Brightwall wall coverings and ThermalDry PVC floor tile in our 92-year-old basement. The house had been fully waterproofed years earlier by exterior excavation, so we did not need any internal waterproofing measures; but the walls were constantly scaling and efflorescing, and the floors were messy and uneven, and this was the way to make the space really usable. Matt, Sean, and Mike had all the appropriate skills, and applied very high standards. The job was complex due to all the outlets, pipes, support posts, and so on, but they overcame all difficulties, worked two intense 10-12 hour days, and accomplished the job on time. The result met all my expectations. I was extremely impressed!

Ohio Basement systems completed the waterproofing and foundation repair project at my house this week. They were able to pull in the completion date by 1 day which was great. Victor Gullatta was the foreman and he kept me informed during the entire process. I do admit I learned a lot more about my basement from him. During the entire project he has always been courteous and accommodating to any questions that I have. The entire team did a wonderful job and I really appreciate it. This is my 2nd time using Ohio Basement systems for projects. I am a repeat customer because of the first positive experience. After this one I definitely will come back for another project. I had a small, what seemed to be simple, area waterproofed from the outside of my home. The job was anything but simple and needed additional services. My team foreman was Adam and he worked with Darnell and Patrick. My phone contact at the office was Julie. None of them could have been nicer or more attentive and my crew was experienced. The foreman stayed in touch with me by phone. Julie managed to get my project date moved earlier two times. They really focus on customer service. If a customer has difficulty with a project and can still give the crew and company a high recommendation, it speaks volumes.

What an honest company! I had Three different companies come out to look at my wet brick basement. The other Ohio guys wanted $20,000 to "fix" my whole house ($10,000 if I wanted to be cheap and only do the affected area). Mike came out and found out what the real problem was and offered a much more cost effective solution. BTW when they went in to fix the problem the 3 cracks that the other Ohio guys said were there were in fact NOT. I am so glad that I called around and found Ohio basement systems I would tell everyone to at least give them a call it could save you $$.

Our experience was not without bumps, but Scott and his crew worked through the rain to complete our job. Jennifer in the office was more than helpful figuring out a solution to one of our bumps. "In charge" person determined our job could be pushed back 2 months in lieu of a bigger job, after waiting 2 months to get it done initially. Our house sale would have fallen through if the work had not been completed. They heard our concerns and completed the job only a few days late. Every job has issues, this company was willing to hear us and completed a quality job.

Kyle Bunner worked in our home for five days and did a great job making us feel very comfortable with the entire process of addressing the issues with our basement (major crack in the floor which dropped two inches). He was very professional and cared about our concerns. His team did a good job of following his lead. Overall I would recommend Ohio Basement System to help them address their basement issues. If you need to use PolyLevel to help fill voids or lift your floors, I would suggest asking for Kyle, as he is an expert in what he does. Thank you, Tony

Bought a home 6 months ago told receptionist i want total rebuild due to walls bowing thats the proper way of fixing the problem this companys answer new I beams replace the old ones tie them into my joices on the floor over 1st floor not remove the soil on the outside to relieve pressure nor no waterproofing or anything like that to prevent anymore pressure on the wall just replace 30 beams for 18000 and leave it hell no not happening i can replace beams myself and dig out around foundation backfill waterproof to relieve pressure

Matt and his helper did a great job knew what to do to lift my sidewalks left the job site clean and took care not to damage my lawn or sprinkler system would recommend them to any of my neighbors in fact one neighbor stopped and asked Matt about a repair he needs done hopefully Matt gets the job thankyou for a great job and a fair price
