In January there was a bad storm that blew siding off our house. After calling a couple of contractors who wanted money just to come out and assess our damages, I ran across an ad for the Third Estimate Company, whose slogan is “Get two estimates, then call us” so I did. They offered to come out free of charge to give us an estimate and to also provide a free inspection to the exterior of our home in case there were other damages from the storm. After inspecting our home they found other storm damage which also required us to have to replace the roof. Without their expertise we would have never known the extent of storm damage to our home. The Third Estimate Company worked with us and our insurance company to help get our house repaired. The representative Jim was great to work with. We felt comfortable with their seamless process and after checking them out; decided to go with them for the roof and siding replacement. Jim dropped off samples for the roof and siding and worked with us to select the best options for our home. Our house looks fantastic! The roof was completed in 1-day and the siding was completed in about 2-days. The work crew was professional, worked from sun-up to sundown, and cleaned up consistently as they performed the work. My neighbor was home during most of the work and complimented the work crew professionalism. We are also impressed by the details of the trim job they did around our water faucet, and light fixtures. First of all, I would like to say that due to prior experiences with Home Improvement companies, I was somewhat concerned in moving forward with another. However, I was pleasantly surprised with The Third Estimate Corp. and its professionalism, and of course, the final completion of my project. From my initial contact with the office to the completed project, nothing was left unanswered. If a question arose, I contacted the office and was immediately directed to the appropriate person to obtain the answer. The Representative I met with when seeking an estimate was thorough, helpful and very knowledgeable. And when I was uncertain about a specific Brand for my project, he would provide possible options or suggestions. Also, I was truly impressed by the way in which those who were involved in the actual project at my home were so courteous and considerate of my time. Being a person who leaves my home early in the morning and not returning until late in the evening, does not allow for me to be concerned about those working in my home during the day. With The Third Estimate, this was never a concern, and honestly, I felt quite comfortable with the situation. There is no question, I would certainly recommend this Company to a family member or friend, who is considering any kind of Home Improvement project. The estimate I was provided was more than fair and comparable to others, but more importantly, I could not have been happier with the beautiful new addition to my home.

Steve (the owner) is a very patient man. He sincerely cares about each of his employees and making customers happy. Steve is concerned that all of his employees are employed so they can eat and support themselves and their families. Steve has always treated me and my mother with the up most respect when we have talked to him. Andy the salesman for the Third Estimate also treated my mother and myself with a lot of respect. He worked with us to give us the best possible roof. Patty (the secretary) also was always very nice to me when I called the Third Estimate which I sincerely appreciated. The roof that is on my house from the Third Estimate looks very nice and is durable. I live on top of a hill with high winds. Thus far the roof has had to endure some very heavy winds. This was a very pleasant experience for my wife and I. The crews were professional and completed the work on time and at budget. They even added some extras (side vents & flush hose mounts) that made the job look extra professional. Once completed, they offered to put up the shutters that I had taken down to paint. The windows have already made a huge difference in helping to keep my home tempature regulated. I also appreciate that they are very good at "sound proofing" my home. Just want to thank Third Estimate for a great experience in replacing my roof that had wind damage. They worked with my insurance company to get the billing right. Also, it was discovered when they started that I had two layers of shingles to remove, not one like everyone had thought. Third Estimate contacted my insurance company and they paid the cost of the second layer removal which if I had done this myself, I would have had to pay out of my pocket. Overall, I am very happy with my new roof and it looks great! Thanks Third Estimate!!

My wife and I had The Third Estimate put in all new windows and blown-in insulation in our attic. After the installation we saw a dramatic decrease in our energy bills and in the winter months we saw an almost 45% savings! We could have waited to upgrade our home, but are so glad we didn’t. It looks like we will have our investment back in just a few years and will be more comfortable in our home in the meantime. From beginning to end the experience was top notch!

After a wind damage on our house, we were so lucky to find The Third Estimate to help us. The Third Estimate took care everything, from communication with the insurance to replacement of roof and siding. Steve came over to our home several times to help us choose the color. started with excellent response in march and worked up a cost. applied for loan and was accepted. is now august. loan expired in july. have email twice with no response. have no idea what is happening. was suppose to be addition guy come and discuss a bay window for bedroom on project. do not know what to do but write review at this point. they do have 980 of my money and not returing emails. so use at your own risk

Absolutely the worst experience I had dealing with a contractor. I should have followed my gut that these people are shady. They had me sign over the check from my insurance company and then waited 60 days to do the work. Once the roof was installed they did a shoddy job and had to comeback and fix it. I’m so sorry I ever dealt with these people.

Wonderful experience with this company starting with mike the sales guy who was super nice not pushy and answered all my questions I had. Then the 2 installers I had were also super nice and did an absolutely amazing job on my siding. I plan on using them in the future to reside my garage. No complaints at all and highly recommend them .

I called them several times to check something about a leak. They came once when it rained so they could not climb on the roof and then whenever I reached they said they would come but that never happened. I do not recommend them.
