Be very careful when trusting some employees with issues like moving money from a regular account to a Roth Ira. Check everything. Make sure the correct SS# is on the form. Know enough about the transfer and the verbiage on the forms to make sure it was done properly. Even when employees ask supervisors for help on doing this, still keep your eyes open, read everything, be pleasantly skeptical until you are absolutely sure it is correct. Then, look at your next bank statement carefully to make sure the transfer has been recorded properly. It is YOUR retirement money after all, not theirs.

This credit union has certainly gone down hill after converting to Golden West. Yesterday I waited at the drive up teller for 8 minutes for someone to recognize I was there. And then, even though I had clearly written how I wanted my money distributed on the deposit slip, the teller deposited all funds into savings, not what I had stated at all, but apparently what he thought should happen??? Anyway, be wary when you go to this bank. Very sad, as I have banked at USU Credit Union for 25+ years, but now looking to go somewhere else.

I love the local attitude of USU credit union! I have been a member since my parents opened me an account there at birth! I now have my loan for our car through USUCU with a very low interest rate, as well as a CD with a great rate of return. I definitely would recommend banning here.
