Wow, only the highest praise to a wonderful organization. I have had four interactions with Gulf Shore Cooling Personnel (henceforth GSC). My first contact was with Joe B at The Home Depot , he very professionally, slowly and clearly arranged for a home visit by another member of the GSC team. Next I met with Dave R. , sales consultant. He inspected, asked for my wants, and we scheduled another visit for his "Bid". Dave was on time , very neat organized, professional. He always put on his "Booties" when in my home. I had a 13 year old Lennox 3 ton unit which needed replaced. My next meeting was with Dave where he very professionally presented me with 3 bids, but his bids were for a 3.5 ton unit not simply a replacement for my old unit, but an upgrade in power and SEER efficiency. I had gotten 2 other proposals , an "Independent one man shop", and my previous 23 year service and maintenance organization.. The was no comparison in professional presentation, GSC was professional, organized,multi paged, informative, financial information and generally complete. The old service provider gave me a proposal on three units, all 3 ton units with two with low SEER values, one Seer 16. The proposal was 1 sheet., The one man shop gave me a ball park estimate , no visit , nothing written. The GCS proposal I choose was for a 3.5 ton , Seer 16 Lennox system . the price was excellent, In fact I was getting a superior machine for a price below the competition . We arranged everything and scheduled the install. At all times Dave R was friendly, professional, and answered my questions. My next contact with GSC were their installation technicians, Rafael and Charles. They arrived on schedule and began their work promptly. They covered the floor of my storage room ( Unit was in there) with a tarp, and also used a tarp in my garage. They removed my old unit, installed my new unit , both inside and outside. It was a pleasure watching these two techs do their jobs. They completed by 4:30 pm. They cleaned up so well, that both my storage area, and my garage were cleaner than before they arrived. At all times when in the house, the wore booties. While the install was going I had a very professional visit from Scott M. who was there to see that everything was going and well and to ask me if I was satisfied. I was.. GSC was an amazing group of people . They turned what I had expected to be a miserable experience (hell) to a very good experience. I would recommend GSC to anyone. In fact I recommended GSC to one of my friends, and it turned out they too had their AC purchased and installed by GSC, and experienced a similar result. Great organization..

Buyer beware. Contracted through home depot. Initial inspection failed. Job was simple, remove old functioning package ac unit outside house, replace with new package unit, replace thermostat control panel on inside wall. Initial install failed miserably, for two weeks the unit was not cooling my house, was only cooling the inside of the ac unit, causing massive condensation and flooding for 8-12 feet around the unit resulting in oversaturation of the ground and a nearby tree coming down pulling out a brick and mortar flowerbed off of the side of my house, damage to house (estimated damage $2000-3000), mold is on the unit from where the condensation came from, after 4 or 5 visits where their own employees couldnt believe that the install happened the way that it did, as well as the unit being realigned to my ducts (another fail) finally they pulled the unit and re set the pad, no compensation for the extra $100 on my electric bill for that month to air condition the unit and not my home, it failed inspection during this time. Re inspection has now failed as well because the new pad wasnt set properly and the ac unit was falling off the pad (cape coral permit inspections words). Myself and my girlfriend have both had upper respiratory infections since this failed install, investigations into the cause are scheduled, no compensation offered for the loss of life expectancy of the unit due to it overworking and overcondensing out of the side of the unit like a river for the two weeks they left it. I dont trust them to not half*** any further work, making my warranty with them useless. They did fire the employees responsible, but that doesnt help me out with this mess. Response to the failed reinspection was to fill the gaps under the unit in the pad and concrete blocks was to use expanding foam, which looks like ****. This ac unit is 3-4 months old and already looks like it has been there 2 years. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! WITHOUT A REFUND OR A BRAND NEW AC PUT IN BY A REPUTABLE COMPANY WITH A WARRANTY AGREEMENT I AM TAKING THEM TO COURT!! See their facebook reviews for detailed pictures from start to finish

After having a problem with my air conditioning unit, I called Gulf Shore Cooling to schedule a service visit. Arrangements were made for a tech to come to the house that same afternoon, calling 30 minutes before arriving. Luis arrived and quickly found the problem: a leak in a coil. After discussing parts and labor costs and a time line to repair it, I decided it was time for a new unit. (mine was from 1997) Luis was very knowledgeable about the products available and what would best fit my needs, within my budget. We scheduled an installation for early the next week. Mark and Keith, the installation team, arrived on schedule with everything they needed and began to remove the old system. As they did so, they discovered other hidden problems that dated back to the original construction. They immediately began to work on these and fixed things "the way that I would want my house to be fixed." It took a couple of hours longer to complete than originally planned but they worked steadily and efficiently to be sure it was done right. I am very happy with the way all of the folks involved handled my problem. Very professional , took pride in their work and wanted the customer satisfied at the end of the day. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs their services.

Hi I must first apologize to the excellent Rob Baker for not writing this review sooner. What can I say besides Rob was at my property for more than two hours answering all my questions and showing me what was going on with my two air conditioning/ heating units. I missed my first appointment and almost missed my second if not for Rob calling me ahead of time to remind me. I highly recommend Gulf Shore Cooling. If Mr. Baker is indicative of the type of people who work there you are indeed in good hands. I wish to add I called Gulf Shore Cooling again and had the pleasure of meeting Rich Gage. My house was a foreclosure with nothing ever fixed right and Rich went way above and beyond getting my former heat pump turned air conditioner to work. He was here for almost two hrs explaining everything. Very smart and very honest. Am going to replace unit and will have Gulf Coast Cooling do it. We arrived to our new home in Florida this spring with no air conditioning and it was hot! We contacted Home Depot regarding the ductless air system we wanted and they referred us to Gulf Shore Cooling. They came to our home the week we arrived and by Friday of that same week we had our air conditioning installed and running beautifully! We chose to install the Mitsubishi Ductless system ( air and heat) which is pricey but WE LOVE IT!!! It is as quiet as can be, you hardly know it is running. For us this makes it well worth the price . This system also has a 12 year warranty which we are told is the best in the business. On top of that, we were able to get 2 years of no interest financing through Home Depot. The management and technicians with Gulf Shore Cooling were prompt, courteous and professional. We appreciated the hard work on the day of installation that was completed by Ambi and Erick. Our appreciation to all at Gulf Shore Cooling for your responsiveness and quality service.

Just had a new Lennox condenser and air handler installed with duct modifications in my home and I am VERY happy with my unit as well as my overall experience. I choose Gulf Shore Cooling over the others because I felt they were sincere in looking out for my best interest. Mr. David Rojas is absolutely wonderful; listening to my concerns and knew what I needed for my home. The installers Wilfred, Edwin, Eric, and Adrian are polite, hard working, and are definite professionals. Scott the supervisor came out to make sure the job was going smoothly and later came out again to check for any further modifications. Tank from the office retuned my calls and was quick to make appointments for my concerns. My new a/c is working perfectly and I am very satisfied with their work. I made a great decision with choosing this company and I highly recommend them!

I had to take the time to write a few remarks about Gulf Shore Cooling... I was very impressed with how nice and friendly everyone was and how they catered to my needs...Tyler was so educated on the differences in the units and helpful with us making our decision. It is so good to know there are some great businesses you can depend on. The gentlemen who put my unit in were so quite and respectful of my family we were able to sleep in and they continued to keep my home cool. Ambi and Eric were so concerned about keeping things clean and explaining what they needed to do made me feel at ease. I was so worried about this experience and Gulf Shore Cooling made it easy. I have a new air conditioner for my home and my family and we are thrilled. I have to say it is nice and cold. Thank you David for a great experience.

Gulf Shore just installed a complete new system along with upgrades we requested. They advised they would arrive between 8:00 & 9:00 AM - they actually arrived at 7:50 AM. Craig and Tom worked without a break until system was up and running. They explained everything in detail to us to help keep the equipment running properly. Clean booties were worn every time they entered our home and when they left our home was as clean and neat as it was when they arrived. This is by far the best A/C company we have worked with through our 12 years and 2 homes in Naples FL. Every person we spoke with at Gulf Coast were courteous and professional. And best of all, there is no automated attendant when you call - A person (Michelle) actually answers your call promptly. Thanks to Craig, Tom, Tyler and Michelle for the great service.

After going through a hot night and having a 10 month old getting warmer and fussier by the minute... Scott from Gulf Shore Cooling came out and gave us a run down of our options. He was very professional, helpful and knowledgable. He immediately set up an installation for the next morning and walked us through the process. The next morning the installers showed up promptly at 8am just like Scott said. The installers worked all day going in and out of our very hot attic to replace our entire system. The project manager showed up at the end and inspected the entire job. They were all professional, cleaned up and answered all of our questions every step of the way. We are very thankful that we called Scott and that we are now enjoying our new A/C!

My mother purchased a new unit from this company about 5 years ago. She has had MANY problems with the unit since. Keep in mind she gets regular maintanence too to try and prevent any problems and only lives in this house six months a year. The months that she is not here she sets the unit to their specifications and does not turn the unit off. In the last 2 weeks she has spent $1950.00, yes you read that correctly, to fix coils covered under the unit’s warranty. There is no “per hour” charge for a technician. It is by the job only. Today, she paid $1500.00 of that $1950.00 for two techs to be there about 4 hours. The additional $450.00 was to diagnose the problem two weeks ago. I highly suggest you shop around rather than use this company.

This is a review by Frank Dowd in Naples, Floirda. Gulf Shore Cooling installed two units on September 13th, one for the upstairs and also one for the downstairs. The upstairs unit is by Carrier, 2 tons; the downstairs unit is by Lennox, 3 tons. We also had a UV filter installed purify the air. We discussed various options with Gulf Shore and decided on this configuration. The technicians who did the installation were Julio and Yussel. I am very pleased with the installation, and they cleaned up everything as well. Everything is running smoothly and the units are functioning very well. I have done business for 15 years with Gulf Shore Cooling and recommend them highly. The units are guaranteed for 10 years.
