Pro Home Improvement have a great reputation online and from what I can tell they really know what they are doing and offer a nice 25 year guarantee with their work. However, their sales guy was at my house for 2.5 HOURS ON A SATURDAY, which I was not expecting, and while a lot of what he told me about how they would replace my roof was super informative and has helped me in my search for finding someone to replace my roof, he went over a ton of info that just took up way too much of my afternoon; stuff about the company, where they are headed, what charities they give money to, etc. They really use a hard sell, which I thought was a bit much. This company also quoted me a price for my roof that was 3X what another company quoted - $15,000 to redo my roof on my 1200 sq ft home!!! You have got to be kidding me! I expected them to come in at maybe a few grand more, but not 3X! You are basically paying for their $6M insurance policy when you use their services, because there was little difference in the work that was quoted by them and the other company. The guy who came out also did not even get up on my roof, he just walked around the perimeter of my house eyeballing the roof from the ground. So I am unsure how he came to the conclusion that my roof replacement would be worth $15,000, since there is no way he could see my complete roof and what is happening up there just by walking around on the ground. The other company came out, got up on my roof, told me what they would do, and gave me a reasonable price. I was also underwhelmed with the discounts and the payment plans that were offered. I was told that if I did not sign with them on the spot, the discounts would be removed from their quote. WOW! VERY PUSHY! It just was not worth spending 3X the amount I could spend somewhere else to get an updated, quality roof. Maybe rich people can afford to use this company, but I most definitely cannot!

My wife and I requested a quote from Pro Home Improvement to add insulation to our attic. While I am sure they would have done a fantastic job, and they guarantee their work for like 25 years, I was disappointed in the format of the quote. It was very much a sales pitch. Prices are not readily available on their website for insulation, and I am guessing there are multiple reasons for this; but one of them must be that they try to inspect your home and get you to commit to a price on the spot, offering a 10% discount only at the time of the inspection/quote. So for those who would like to know prices beforehand here they are: For adding 10 inches of insulation: 2.93 per square foot For adding 15 inches of insulation: 3.93 per square foot They also offer you a discount/rebate if you post a sign on your yard, advertising for them, this comes in the way of 50 dollars per day for up to 90 days. Even with these two discounts we found the prices for the job a bit high. We decided to hold off on our decision despite the somewhat pushy salesman and we got another inspection. This inspection came in with a quote hundreds of dollars cheaper, no sales-pitchy/ pushy format, and they let us know we needed additional ventilation and would install said ventilation included in our price that was cheaper than Pro Home Improvement. So buyer beware! Like I said, Pro Home Improvement has excellent credentials and reviews, so I am sure they would have done a great job, but they are a bit over-priced and try to get you to commit without knowing what the competition is offering. I did not like the feeling of the quote/inspection and am glad I went with another company.

The sales pitch is a joke! I was impressed with the overall assessment of my problem, but once we sat down to talk about my "quote" things got messy. The longer we sat and said we were getting a minimum of 3 quotes, the more discounts that came out. Two discounts stood out to me; 1) we read some nice testimonials about the company in the beginning of our conversation, but when we were apprehensive about signing a contract we were offered the "Testimonial Discount." If we would write a good review, we would get a $400 or so discount....kinda discredits ALL their so called good customer testimonials. We were then pressured, (In my own house) to sign immediately to get the best deal. 10% signing today,blah blah, 1,2 3 etc. more discounts IF YOU SIGN RIGHT NOW! Sorry Pro, I am a pretty smart guy and would like to get a few more quotes,.....Watching my sales guy getting more aggressive, now starting to repeat himself,. He makes a phone call to his supervisor because he says he has exausted all HIS discounts. After this 30 second phone call he gives me another number just a little bit lower. I say, thank you for your time, but again I will not be purchasing or signing as I CALLED YOU FOR A QUOTE. I politely stand up and tell him I am done with this back and forth. He gathers his things, turns into a bigger jerk and leaves my house without even a hand shake. What a joke!

I had Pro Home Improvement put a roof on a home I own in Hazel Park. Gary stopped by, climbed up into the attic, and pointed out all kinds of causes for the problems we were experiencing despite our roof appearing intact from the exterior. He specifically identified a lack of venting and absence of underlayment as two major issues. Gary reviewed many options for the replacement, including materials in various price points to meet our budget. The employees were super friendly and provided professional service. They had the roof tore off and replaced (correctly) before lunch! - leaving no evidence behind except a beautiful roof. Not one nail, piece of wood, or debris! These guys were thorough, thoughtful, and a pleasure to do business with. I will not hesitate to call them again for anything we need in the future. They do more than roofing and we are excited to use their services again.

We had some storm damage years ago and had work done by another construction company. Needless to say this company is no longer in business and of course, we had an issue with the work done. Not being able to fall back on a warranty of workmanship, we had to find another company. Pro Home Improvement employees were sympathetic to our situation and immediately started finding a remedy. The work the contractor did, in less time then initially quoted, was accomplished in a professional manner, ahead of schedule and completely satisfied my husband. The high quality of work has me actually anxious to have winter arrive to see that the ice dam prevention work will hold up. I recommend this company for your home improvement needs. We are seriously considering having gutter work done on our vacation home- if the contractors are willing to travel.

I recently contracted with ProHome after searching multiple roof &siding vendors. I am a rookie to the industry and was initially very skeptical about getting the "okie-doke". My experience with ProHome could not have been better! Through my efforts to become an informed buyer I found the pricing and overall package from ProHome to be very competitive. My salesman Todd, owner Tim, and workers all provided exceptional customer service. All were very patient with my questions and provided timely responses. I was particularly impressed with the time to complete the job and their level of service and concern for my satisfaction as a customer. ProHome exceed my expectations and I will be calling them for all of my home improvement needs in the future. If you need a qualified home improvement team I recommend you do the same.

After a terrible roofing and gutter experience, Pro Home was one of the estimates I got to "fix" the problems caused by the previous crew. They proved at every turn and conversation to be trustworthy and capable of delivering quality work at a fair price. The project manager, Keith called and stopped by often before and during the project reassuring me of the timeline and addressing any concerns, which I had none! We first contacted Pro Home Improvement after looking at google reviews in the area. They came out within three days to give us an estimate on insulation, but we ended up also getting siding and gutters because they gave us such a great price. They were a no-hastle, and no-pressure type of company, with GREAT workers. They originally told us that it would be about 3-4 weeks before they could get the job done, but within a week, they called and said they could do it the weekend after our estimate was first done. For the insulation, siding, and gutters, they only took three days. They worked through the rain, and made sure it was up to our standards every step of the way. We are SO happy with how everything turned out. Would recommend this company to EVERYONE I know!

In June we decided that we needed a new roof. After receiving estimates from several roofers we chose Pro Home Improvement. As so often happens, when the actual work began in July the original scope of the project increased. The owner of the company, Tim, worked with us to mitigate the unexpected financial impact of the "surprises".The project manager, Keith, did a great job of keeping us informed throughout the entire project. The on-site project manager also did a great job. His attention to detail and close supervision resulted in a high quality result. Even the smallest details were tended to. I would definitely do business with this company again!

My garage looked very decayed and was in big need to cover and protect my belongings inside from severe weather. Pro Home worked with me on financing even though my only income is my disability. The workers showed up very early (6:45 AM) and stayed all day until the job was finished and clean up was done.( 4 ish). The removal of all leftover material and scrap was picked up the next day. The garage looks like a put up a new building. If I have any other work that needs to be done in their area of expertise, I would likely be calling them again. The workers were friendly and worked steady to complete the job. What more can be said or asked for?

I had Pro Home Improvement perform a complete tear off and re-single along with vent system, new gutters and gutter protection. I chose them because; they quoted the best price, on-line reviews regarding the ventilation system they use, they are a local company, and payment postpone for up to 1 1⁄2 years at 0% interest. Overall I am completely satisfied with their work. There was a small issue with the aesthetics of a portion of the edge vent on a small area on rear of house. Tim personally came out and explained its purpose and even agreed to change it free of charge, because I wanted a more aesthetically pleasing look.

They provided us with top notch products and services which were implemented to perfection. The Pro Home Improvement Company simply proves that all such businesses are NOT storm-chasers,opportunists, or scammers ! We recently had a complete roof tear off and replace. Keith, Dan, and the entire crew were terrific to work with. The dumpster was delivered and removed on time,all the material was as agreed to, the crew even made improvements without being instructed to do so, and the clean up was very thorough ! . Pro Home Improvement will definitely be consulted for our future projects !
