My vehicle was recently hit by a driver that was insured with a company that utilized Statewide Claims service to facilitate the claim process. First and foremost, the other driver was kind and immediately admitted fault and also did so with the insurance adjuster. The claims adjuster assigned to the case, Vanessa Livingston, was terribly rude and insulting towards me immediately. She asked me if I knew how to tell time and let me know that she would handle things the way that she felt best. I asked her when I would be allowed to get a rental vehicle and was told that when she had time to facilitate a rental, she would do it at that point. Keep in mind that at this point, my vehicle had already been inoperable for 4 days. Once she finally called in a rental car for me, she provided me with a subcompact car. Texas requires that the responsible party provide the other party with comparable transportation. My vehicle is a very very high end full size luxury car. A Nissan Versa is far less that comparable transportation. Anyways, after several phone calls, I was able to speak to a manager and was able to get a vehicle that was a little larger, but, it is nowhere close to comparable. Statewide, after nine days, finally sent someone out to look at my car, and the person that assessed the damages failed to inspect the car with the help of the staff at the collision center and therefore did not complete a thorough inspection on the car. The estimate for repairs and authorization was very incomplete and included authorization for parts that did not even fit my car. Unfortunately, my car was manufactured as a special addition and many of the trim parts are available only by special order so I was informed by the collision center that the incorrect ordering would likely delay the repair process by several weeks. (This means several more weeks in this horrible rental car!) In addition to the terrible service from Vanessa by telephone and the lackluster performance of the field adjuster, I also received letters from Statewide Claims Service that are very threatening in nature. The letters are very clear in stating that they will avoid, in every way possible, doing anything to make sure that my vehicle is taken care of properly and that they would avoid treating me and my property with any dignity at all. Unfortunately, my vehicle is still in the collision center and likely will be there for two or three more weeks. This will extend this entire incident out to almost six weeks when in reality, it could have been resolved in 10 days or less with adequate and professional claims management. I am now forced to start dreading the claims process for diminished value of my car. I am certainly not looking forward to working with Statewide Claims Service any more than I have already had to. Please, people, when you insure your vehicle, remember, the cheap insurance is not the way to go. You should take into account how YOU will be treated in the event that you have to file a claim. Remember, sometimes the only protection that you have is your own insurance, and you would not want to work with a company like Statewide Claims Service or with a person like Vanessa Livingston.

This company does not respond to you. Too bad you cant give no stars. Our car was hit by one of their insured and we are over 2 months out and the car is just being fixed. We called everyday from the day we dropped it off to the body shop and they never called back for us to get a rental car. When i finally got ahold of someone they said "oh yeah it was never explained to you? You need to rent the car and we will reimburse you." oh and no thye wont pay for insurance on the vehicle you rent and say they will only pay $30 a day. This is the worse insurance company on the planet. They dont even have a claim service after 4:30 cst but i guess that would only matter if they ever answered their phone. I think their business model is to ignore you until you go away and pay for things on your own.

This company deserves to be taken down immediately. I was hit by one of their drivers, which he admitted fault, as well as the officers that got to the scene. This insurance company made my life hell, and every step of the way as well. If you were hit by any of their clients PLEASE do yourself a favor and get a lawyer or go through your insurance, otherwise they will screw you over and ignore you.

Worst experience! They never call back. Tried for 3 weeks straight now and so did the automotive company who is trying to repair my car. I think they do this on purpose. It has been over 6 months and can not get my car repaired even after they agreed to take care of it. No one will return phone calls back. This should be illegal and someone should close them down.

It took 2 months for their adjuster to finally return my calls. When I finally got an answer, the company did not submit a rental reservation or accept liability until I contacted three more employees there. Every person I dealt with was rude and tried to make it seem like I was committing insurance fraud. Even after their driver admitted liability.
