They are terrible. I wish there was a zero star. They took my 4 months payment ($188.88 - September through December 2016) and cashed the check on August 2016 and never updated my policies(Medical and dental). I even made a copy of the check they cashed and mailed to the proper address. I have also faxed it on the same day. Now my policies are no longer active. The first response from the customer service was they never received my fax or my mail. I was able to talk to a supervisor and he informed me that he has my documentation on his hand and will forwarded to investigation department. I am waiting!!!!!!
Just look at the reviews, it speaks for itself. For my part, I had supplemental insurance, I got hurt, I tried to stay active for a few months and avoid using them until the doctor said I needed surgery. Because we could not establish the exact date of my injury because it was impossible to establish they refused to cover me. I am deciding weather to sue them but they already offered to pay me all the premiums I have paid. They are unethical.

This company entered a policy in conjunction with a health insurance company that misrepresented itself, which I terminated, and now this organization is relentlessly billing me monthly for a life insurance policy I do not want and rejected years ago. They seem to operate at the fringes of legality and are more like a virus than a legitimate company.
Worthless, I have tried to terminate my policy and they continue to withdraw monthly payments. There seems to be Nothing legitimate about this Co. taking advantage of people. God help anyone if they actually need healthcare. And it would seem the above picture is of some mall parking lot and Chesapeake is not even on the sign. SCAM!
I do not recommend Chesapeake Insurance. For 7 months we have tried to cancel the policy. We have had multiple phone calls, spent hours on the phone on hold, mailed physical letters requesting cancellation and continue to be charged.

Terrible service. I tried cancelling multiple times and the policies canceled but they continued to debit for months afterwards. I am still trying to get them to cancel my automatic debits.
Called for a name change because of marriage and this is the third card I have gotten with my maiden name. 7 months and still trying to get my card corrected. At least they are consistent
While I have never filed a claim on my 3 policies I have called several times and have always gotten excellent customer service from the agents. They were always courteous and polite!
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have had to file a claim with my bank to get money back for the last 2 months on a policy that i canceled in May. They do not answer the phone.
Never used the insurance so I cancled 3 months ago and they are STILL taking money out of my bank account. Now i cant reach anyone. Dont waste you time with them.
Worst Customer service in assisting with a death claim in the world. They should be ashamed of themselves....
