After we came home from vacation we noticed yard signs popping up all over the neighborhood. One of them was my neighbor who filled me in on the hail storms we had while we were away. I called TEC and did not receive a response from a Project manager at first, but I think this was to be expected with all the damage we had in the area. I called back a second time and they apologized with the explanation that they have been swamped with calls, which is what I suspected. A project manager reached out to me within hours of the second call and a third call shortly thereafter. They showed that they did care about my inquiry and wanted my business. From that point, the process was pretty simple. Tyler was great and was familiar with my insurance adjuster. The appointments were set up pretty quickly to review the damage and I was cut a check from my insurance adjuster right away. TEC had scheduled our roof replacement for September 8th-9th, but when we told them we had a birthday party scheduled that weekend, they were understanding and changed their schedule to match ours. They came the morning of the 11th and had the roof on the same day. There was some cleanup the next day and they did a pretty good job of cleaning up the nails. To date, I have only found one nail, and if you are familiar with other roofer’s work, they usually have plenty of debris left over. TEC did a wonderful job, they were courteous, understanding and professional. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who needs exterior work done to their home.

When men started to ring the doorbell, saying we had hail damage to our roof, my first though was, is this a scam? Our insurance came to take a look.we did have damage. Now to decide on a company to repair it.Several companies looked at the damage. We did not sign with any. We started to see the TEC signs in the neighborhood. One evening JT King came to the door. My husband invited him in. From the beginning we could tell he was a caring man.. He made everything very easy. The crew came on aFriday morning, early. They worked very hard! Our new roof looks beautiful! They came, they worked hard, they cleaned and removed all the debris. We highly recommend TEC. We are very happy with their work. Thank you JT and your crew. It has been a pleasure working with you. A short PS, our dog Penelope is very scared of men. As soon as JT walked in our home, she stayed by his side. Poor workmanship! I am working with a elderly woman who had a roof installed by TEC 2 years ago and her roof is now leaking. She called them and they came out and said they caulked the shingles down and around the vent boots and said it would stop it. A few weeks later it leaked again. The owner had a home inspector out and he took pictures of the issues. The boot that go over the vent pipes were place on TOP of the shingles not under it. The roofer came in when the inspector was there and barley spoke English and ask the inspector how to fix it. WOW!! I was there and heard it or I would of never believed it. I told him you are the expert you should know how to fix it and install it properly. Who knows what they did when they went up this time on the roof but she paid big money for the roof when it was installed and now lost a sale over the workmanship of the roof. Your company should be more selective on who you use as a subcontractor to do the jobs. I see a lawsuit in the near future.

We recently had our roof replaced by The Exterior Company (TEC). Our roof had significant damage after a major hail storm. The entire process was easy from the start. Tyler inspected our roof and showed us the areas of concern; he was willing to work with our schedules and then took the time to fully address all of our questions. TEC offered many color options for the roof replacement; Tyler helped us select the one that looked best with our home exterior. On the day our roof was replaced, the crew was very efficient and professional. They did a very thorough clean up, especially in the areas we walk our dog. After the crew left there was an area on the roof that concerned us. Tyler came back and personally inspected our roof and resolved the issue quickly and fully. Overall, we are very satisfied with our beautiful new roof and the whole experience. We highly recommend the TEC company to anyone looking to have a roof, gutter or siding replaced.

TEC - The Exterior Company In May of 2017 many homes in my neighborhood were damaged by a severe hailstorm. I noted many of my neighbors were relying upon TEC - The EXTERIOR COMPANY to attend to repairs associated with the storm. When queried all my neighbors seemed quite satisfied with TEC. I then contacted TEC and they sent someone to my home immediately. My roof and gutters had been damaged. TEC helped me through the claims process and met personally with the my insurance adjuster. Sam Martin, one of the TEC reps, explained the repairs needed, assisted me with materials selection and patiently answered all my questions. Not a single text or email went unanswered by Mr. Martin. This was refreshing based on my previous experiences with contractors. I am very much satisfied with TEC and would gladly recommend TEC to any homeowner seeking repairs large or small. I am extremely satisfied with the roof replacement that was completed at my home by The Exterior Company. The project was completed from start to finish in 1.5 days. Much credit has to go to Mr Ted Davis, the Project Manager. Mr Davis literally went above and beyond the call of duty. While working on another project in my developement, Mr Davis carved out a few minutes after work to come by and see my roof. He performed a visual inspection on the roof and when two other companies said they could not help me, Mr Davis told me that he could definitley help me get a new roof. Mr Davis also coordinated meeting with the insurance adjuster on my roof and I must say, I truly felt like Mr Davis and The Exterior Company had my back. Thank you Ted Davis and the Exterior Company. We have had an excellent experience working with TEC!! They replaced our roof in half a day!! We got some hail damage that would deteriorate into some holes in a few years. There were many Roofers in our area after the storm, so the first thing I did was go research the options and reviews. I was happy to find out that TEC was based out of Lancaster compared to a couple other companies that were around who were from out of the area. I also saw great reviews that they were quick to come back out if there was a problem in the future vs the other companies took a long time to respond to calls due to out of the area. I was not familiar with insurance claims for storm damage, Jay helped us out with walking through the insurance claim process. We have told our friends and family that if we had to do this process all over again we would be using TEC!

Getting our new roof has been such a blessing. From the moment Jay stopped by to offer a free consult to see if our roof would qualify for hail damage from a recent storm to the help we received from the office staff when we had questions, we have been so pleased with our experience. Even when we had a concern, James, the Sr Sales Manager came out right away to make it right. They walked us through filing a claim with our home owners insurance all the way through to the end. The guys working on our roof were respectful and mindful of our property from the flower beds to a childrens airplane they found in the gutter. So thankful for our new roof and the minimal costs to us! Oh and.....they upgraded us to 50 year shingles for no additional cost...and a 10 year warranty on the labor!!

We had TEC replace our hail-damaged roof. The rep. explained the insurance process very clearly, and what repairs would be done. He provided an estimate on the spot. The work was completed in about 6 hours, including cleanup. The work appears to be high quality, and they offered a 10 yr warranty on workmanship. The downsides (reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 stars): My first schedule indication was when I found a dumpster in the road outside my house one morning. The rep. called about 5 minutes after I saw it, and he asked if the crew was there - they might be doing my rood today. The crew arrived about 5 minutes later. It had rained the day before, and the trash cart left ruts in my yard. Overall, it was a good experience and I would use them again.

We were referred to The Exterior Company from a neighbor. She let me know that they were very genuine and a great company to work with. I contacted them about possible Hail Damage on our roof. Joey and Jay came out to check out our roof and found that we indeed had Hail damage. They also came back out with our Insurance Adjustor to verify with him that we had Hail damage. They have helped us through the whole process from the start. I have referred many of my other neighbors and friends to The Exterior Company. We had TEC come out to inspect our roof for hail damage in July and Dave found a lot hail damage. After I filed a claim with my insurance company, Dave took care of everything else, from meeting with the adjuster, scheduling and installation. Dave said it would be 3-4 weeks till the new roof can be installed, and it was installed the 3rd week. The installers were very professional, they had the roof ripped off and installed in 6 hours. The installers took every precaution to protect our flower beds and removed all of the debris from the installation. It was one of the more easier experiences I have had with an installer for a large project of having a roof replaced.

We had storm damage to our roof this past year. When researching for a roofing company I came across TEC. So I did my research and found the company to be A+ with the BBB and the reviews were great. And not to mention the great warranty. So we had James come out and meet with us. We knew from the first time we met him he was our guy. He took care of the insurance claim and took the time to go over every detail with us. My husband would text him about something and he would get back to him within in minutes. James and his team were awesome. Since we have had our roof done we have had people stop and ask for their card. We would highly recommend them.

We had TEC take a look at our roof back in May and damage was found. Dave Allen was very professional in his evaluation and our insurance company supported what Dave found to be hail damage. Our roof was replace in mid June and since then, we have had significant storms here in the Mount Wolf area. The workmanship on the roof by the TEC crews has been fantastic and the workers were friendly and courteous. We get lots of compliments on the roof and the quality of the work. Found working with Dave and the entire TEC team to be a very positive experience and highly recommend them for any work that you may be considering them for. Great company!
