We signed an annual maintenance agreement for our Air Condiioner on June 2017...the report was my unit was in good condition and no major problems could be seen. On August 8, August 9, August 10 and August 11 ARS sent out Technicians to analyze and corredt why my A/C was not working. EAch Technician would in some way fix the unit for 10 hours average and then the unit stopped working again. Being desparate and seeing that ARS could not fix the AC I called another AC Maintena ce Company and they fixed the unit where it is now working perfect since August 11. I wrote a letter to ARS asking for my annual maintenance fee to be reimbursed and called out a Thermostat was replaced for $245 (Cost on Average is $70) and this did not fix the problem. They did not even respond to the letter outlining my problem and the rationale for reimbursement. My personal opinion is that ARS after several visits could not fix the AC and the minute I change to another Company it was fixed immediately. I suggest you very carefully think twice for using ARS for your AC needs.

I own and rent out a small condo in Vero Beach , FL. My tenant called me last Friday with the A/C freezing up and not cooling. He had called Curleys Air (a local A/C company) who came out and looked at the unit and told him we needed a new unit at the tune of $4,200! I called ARS who sent a sales guy by who looked at the unit and did the same thing except he would charge us only $5,200! (But give us interest free financing). In the meantime I called the Used A/C Depot in Fort Pierce where I spoke to a very nice man named Pat who said he had my exact unit brand new in the box for less than $1,000! He referred me to Nick Jones of Jones Heating & A/C in Palm City. Pat advised me to have Nick look at the unit before committing to buying a new unit. Nick drove up to Vero on Friday evening and after giving the coil a thorough cleaning, putting a little stop leak in the system and making sure everything was charged up he charged me $200 and was on his way assuring me that the system was just fine. Happy tenant and happy landlord! :)

First thanks to Home Depot for suggesting I get a tune up on my AC. Anthony Delia called and came by at appointed time. We checked the unit to find that it had not been serviced since 2009. As a new snowbird from Kentucky, I recently bought this house. so to my surprise, these findings were not good. Also for whatever reason, the previous owner had by passed the electric board to convert this unit from a 2 stage to a one. The wires were EVERYWHERE! as my father was an electrical engineer, I (we) realized at once we had a problem! I requested a new system ASAP. Anthony was clear, professional, and precise with the options. I chose a new Carrier. He immediately called for a quote, and install . They came the next day! I am so glad that the events that transpired lead to my feeling safe and comfortable in my new home. Thank you Anthony!!!!!

The invoice for this transaction is under the name Jon T White but I was present during the repairs and Jon gave me permission to post a review. Timothy M. was great. He met us at the door with shoe covers on and a nice smile. He was in a full, clean uniform and was well groomed. He was respectful and professional. Timothy went straight to checking out our problem and had a diagnosis within a minute. He explained what had happened and what he needed to do to get it fixed. So knowledgeable! We were surprised with the quote and we were able to take a sigh of relief. He got the repair done beautifully. Thanks, Timothy! Anyone that is able to have Timothy as your repair person will confirm our review. A really nice guy that knows his business.

Have been with ARS for app 15 years now and the only problem I had in all that time was with there answer service at night which was the first time I ever needed someone after hours and I am sorry to say they failed. "BUT" when I call the office the next morning they had someone here within 1 hour or less. Anthony was the service tec, who got a very upset customer, I think he did a good job explaining what happen to my AC unit but also giving me suggestions on what to do "if" it ever happens again. He also insured me he would let his boss know of the problems with there answer service. Would I recommend ARS for service "Yes", but I hope they fix there answer service, I may not be as forgiving next time.

David Hebb has come out to service our AC unit twice now, once to fix a botched installation, and another to check on some of the settings on our thermostat. Service orientated companies need more employees like David, he is friendly, very knowledgable and has a lot of practical experience in his trade. If it was not for David, ARS would have lost a customer due to the carelessness of the installation techs. (Incorrectly wired 2nd stage AC to heat, and incorrectly installed the float switch so that the water would pour over the master bedroom). David prevented any damage to my home, and was able to get everything running on a late Sunday. I greatly appreciate his attention to detail, and work ethic.

18 days ago had a guy come to unclog kitchen sink..he was super nice and kind...i thought it ran a little slow tho after he left.. but had 90 day warranty...then the second guy comes today after it wont drain, with an attitude..he is not going to honor the warranty ...says its a repeat problem...acts like im a nuisance! Calls his boss and told to honor it...comes back and says he shouldnt have to honor it.... this is too much to go through when you are facing a ruined kitchen floor... Now he is in kitchen re snaking drain, grumbling and coughing his head off..im hiding from him but need a working drain! Very poor customer service....go elsewhere!..it doesnt cost anything to be nice!

The experience was wonderful! Ed showed up on time and assessed the situation. He just had a certain honestly about himself that made you feel comfortable that he was there to solve your problem. He gave me a fair price but was not available until later the next day. My situation required some immediate action and he understood. So he made a change with another job and scheduled my repairs. He arrived early the next morning and within an hour my hot water heater was replaced and providing hot water. Working with Ed made the problem so much more manageable. I would recommend all my friends contact ARS for any repairs and hopefully ask for Ed.

Signed up for service check last week at Home Depot with rep from ARS. Call came in this a.m. to verify appointment and told rep would be their in about 1 hour. Daniel arrived promptly at time, introduced himself and proceeded to check A/C unit. After initial inspection of unit and thermostat suggested we install corrosive bomb to cut down on corrosion in unit installed in 2007. Daniel was thorough, explained what testing showed. cleaned unit inside and told me our service call earlier in year was done well. He was professional, knowledgeable and an enjoyable to deal with. He would be welcomed back any time we need A/C service.

Tommy did an outstanding job for us. He crawled up into the attic to service an air handler and corrected a problem that had gone undetected since it was installed in 2007. The shipping air filter had not been removed. It had accumulated dust and debris for all those years! Tommy also offered advice on an unrelated plumbing problem as he was servicing the A/C. He is an experienced professional who has mastered his trades. In addition, Tommy has a warm, friendly personality. All in all, I highly recommend him. Thanks for the excellent service, Tommy. David H. is clearly a technician who knows his trade. I signed up for a A/C tune up at Home depot and David was the tech.. who came to my house. I discussed the issue we were having and David went right to work and quickly diagnosed the problem. He also went through the entire system and pointed out some other issues that would need some attention. I have been a resident of Vero Beach, Florida now for two years and decided I should have my Air Conditioning serviced. I noticed that the unit was installed by ARS/Rescue Rooter about four years ago so I gave them a call. The service technician that came was Tommy Perkins and I was impressed with him right from the start. He was very personable and took the time to answer all my concerns during the tuneup of my equipment. Tommy was a true professional and I would definitely call ARS for my future servicing of this equipment.

Gary is a great technician. He was the most thorough tech ever. He is very knowledgeable about heating and AC and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. Gary explained things about simple maintenance that I, as a homeowner, can do to prolong the life of my system and keep it running efficiently. No tech has ever done that before. ARS/Vero Beach. Excellent from start to finish. Although ARS was a little more expensive than the local companies they were on time every time, responsive, and were able to compete the installation of the A/C within 24 hours. Their guarantee was also something I considered, and I appreciated that the sales rep explained the difference of 3 systems rather than attempting to sell me what he thought was best. I will use them again and highly recommend ARS and will contact them for plumbing issues.

Was shopping in Home Depot on weekend. Sales associate for ARS stopped my mother and offered her a $9 dollar tune up. Too good to. E true right. Yes it is. What a scam they have at Home Depot in Vero Beach Fl!!! The guy showed up 1 hour late and told my mother who is 85 she needed minimum 147.00 today and definetally needs to do some 1100.00 service soon. Her A/c unit is 4 years old . I will be at her home tomorrow to review the bill. What a scam.

Had our realtor tell us that his home inspector found problems with our AC unit, and that it needed replacement. I had ARS come out, and they did a diligent test of ALL the equipment, and found absolutely ZERO problems with the unit. Tommy Perkins was the tech, and he was both knowledgeable AND honest! Would hire again. Home Depot was the original place where they asked if we needed a checkup.

Ed is a great guy. He installed a new Electric Hot Water Heater for us. He and ARS gave us a great price that stomped the Home Depot price-- and no -- despite false advertising -- Home Depot had no interest in price matching. Home Depot even called them up asking how they could offer such a low price. Learn from me and save yourself some time -- call Ed & ARS first.

My gas water heater was not staying lit properly. Timothy is VERY personable and knowledgeable about his profession. He takes pride in his work, and made sure that I understood clearly all options. My water heater is kaput (it is 26 Years old so not unsurprising), and Timothy has scheduled my replacement. Very pleased with the level of customer service shown.

ARS/Vero Beach was very responsive and courteous. Todd explained what was causing our leaky toilet and explained three options for fixing it. After returning from securing the new toilet he explained how he was going to proceed. When the job was finished he completely cleaned up the work area - even put my bathroom rugs back in place.
