The door to door salesman gave us the impression that the estimate that we would be given was valid for two years, however we found out from the salesman that the price would be honored for only one. As far as the salesman, Ryan, was concerned, he gave a great presentation about the product which is what sold me on going with Power for the initial stages of my windows project. I was slightly concerned with the numbers he had given me to validate the competitive nature of his pricing though. During the pre-installation inspection, the manager told us that we would have to remove portions of our interior trim in order to build up a large opening to accommodate the new window. We were not thrilled with the proposal, but felt the priority was to have a more efficient window installed so we accepted the slight inconvenience of having to paint the new trim. When the installers came out they came up with a solution to keep the trim that made substantially more sense and we avoided removing and replacing the trim, which we are very happy about. Which bring me to the final portion of the experience. The installers. They did a dynamite job. We were very impressed with the speed at which they worked, the professionalism of each individual crew member, and the friendliness of everyone that we dealt with on the installation day. The clean up was immaculate and the finished product looks great. Overall, the experience started off a bit bumpy due to certain communication issues that I mentioned above, but the final product is nothing short of exceptional. Now that the windows are in, we can already feel a significant difference inside of our home and we will be using Power to finish the remaining windows

What a nightmare! – Power Home Remodeling / PowerHMG has created us a huge problem with credit score! I decided to purchase replacement for all our windows at a total cost of over 21k. The sales consultant proposed me financing through Wells Fargo (WF), who supposedly had the best interest rate, explaining that I would then pay my debt in installments over the next 7 years. He said that I was required to open a credit card with WF, but could just cancel this card when I received it in case I didn’t want to keep it. To my surprise, a couple of months later I received the credit card bill with the TOTAL BALANCE of 21K due! I can choose to pay the “minimum payment due” on a monthly bases for years and I realized that this is how the financing is done, which was never explained to us this way. As a result, my credit score is being hugely hurt, as theoretically I will be using almost 100% of my credit for many months. When I called PowerHMG Financing department and referred to my credit score concerns, they suggested me to call my bank and get a loan to pay for my debt with WF in advance. This is absurd! I would never have closed the deal if I knew this would happen. I received misleading explanation on the financing payment, which is now causing me a huge issue; therefore I am seriously considering taking a legal action against PowerHMG for bad faith.

Today Ed Stankowski came to my residence to replace windows that were under warranty. The windows were installed in July 2013. I am ecstatic with the customer service received from Power Home Remodeling when I reported that I may have issues and the subsequent service call and replacement by Ed First I must admit I was skeptical when I called in my concern but Ed ( the internal Ed ) immediately put my concern at ease and asked me what was the issue. After I explained he asked which windows and said a service person would be here on august 10 at 10:30 to replace at NO charge. Well, Ed the field service person arrived exactly at 10:30 with windows in hand on the 10th. The story does end as outlined above it continues into total satisfaction with Ed who not only replaced the windows but checked all other windows and found there were additional windows to be replaced. He was extremely cordial and very thorough on what he did. He also answered all questions that I had. All in all, I am extremely salisfied with the outstanding professional approach and the attitude of both Eds that were involved and would highly recommend Power Home Modeling. Steve Jerwers. This company touts great customer service but they failed to provide that in every way. I first met them at a green home trade show. Have tried to work with FELDCO we were anxious to work with someone with a better reputation. PHRG came out and gave us the whole sales pitch, which took about two plus hours. They windows and their installation plan looked professional but we were unable to commit at that time. When we were able to I just needed them to come out and give a specific estimate for three windows. I called them three different times, once each day for three days. each day they took the same information from me and told me someone would call me back the next day. They never did, so each day I had to call them back to try and get someone to come out and give us an estimate. They would not send someone out (even though I told them I wanted to have them do the job!!!!) unless both my wife and I could be there. We had both already been there for the original presentation and agreed that this is what we wanted. We both work and did not feel the need to rearrange our schedules to BOTH be here. They refused to come. STUPID. Clearly, they are not transparent in their sales and product and do not do business without the ridiculous pitch and sales gimmicks.

I would not consider buying my windows or doors from any company other than Power Home Remodeling. They are the only company with a life-time warranty on their windows that includes any breakage of the glass. There is no other window on the market that can compete with the quality construction, energy efficiency and warranty. Installation included replacing water-damaged wood once the old window was removed. In addition, we learned that the original builder never installed flashing with the old window. Power Home Remodeling installed flashing, new sills, outdoor trim and insulation. There was no additional cost for any of this work. The installers even came prepared with a can of paint to match my trim to paint new wood and touch up as needed! The main office kept me in the loop with setting up a time for installation, letting me know of available dates and times and quickly prioritizing the job if cancelled due to weather. The installers came at the scheduled time, completed the job in the estimated time and left my home as clean as they had found it. This is a great, reliable company with an incomparable product.

I had not heard of Power Home Remodeling prior to them working in my neighborhood, replacing windows and siding. At the sales call, Chris was extremely thorough and made sure I understood the quality and structure of the windows I was considering buying. The demonstrations of the glass and screen durability, as well as the construction of the windows that would form air tight seals sold me. The company followed up with me when Jeff came to take measurements, and then went over the process of the installation and what to expect. Power HRG called to verify the installation date, called the day before installation and the morning of, to inform me when the installers were due on site. Gil, the QA Manger spent time with me after the install, verified all was installed as sold and went over the life time transferable warranty again. This was a great experience. I felt informed every step of the process, and to whomever I was speaking at any time were professional, personable and informative. I would feel comfortable using them on future projects.

I just had the Power Home Remodeling Group install new windows and a front door into my house that was built thirty years ago. I really enjoyed the entire process from the wonderful sales person (Irving Espinosa) all the way through the installation. Mr. Espinosa did not try to sell me anything that i did not need and he was really great to work with. I had some trouble with the financing and PHRG worked with me to meet my budget twice. It was great to have them come out to my house and custom make each window for my house. They look great and I can already feel a difference in the temperature of my house and the windows were only installed yesterday. The front door is amazing it is better than what I though I was getting from the catalog that I ordered it from. The installers were great They did the jobs in one day. They were quick and really payed close attention to detail. Also they were clean and I enjoy the friendly manner of all the Power Home Remodeling Group Thank you for improving the look and feel of my house.

I am very happy with the installation of my new windows from Power Home Remodeling Group. The company installed new windows on the second floor of my house and next year I would welcome them back to do the first floor. Everyone in the company was friendly and happy form the people in the office to the people that came to your house. The installers were clean and covered my furniture and floors with tarps and vacuumed before they left. I worked for a home improvement company and installed windows but my project was to big to handle myself. I shopped around to a lot of companies and I found PHRG was the best. They have done a lot of installations in my development and everyone I have talked to was happy with their work. I am happy with the quality of the windows and the way they were installed. I would definitely recommend buying these windows because of the quality and workman ship.

They go door to door and try to set up an appointment to get a quote. While they are at your door and you are trying to get a quote they call their call center. The rep then hands their phone over to you and the call center people start asking you questions that have nothing to do with an estimate, like who owns the home with you. Then they set up an appointment for a quote. When they left, I went on Yelp to read their reviews. They are ALL 1 star. People have many complaints. This is very different then the Google reviews. The reviews explain about high quotes, lying about their product being exclusive, hard selling, rambling conversations, the meetings for the quotes lasting OVER 3 HOURS, and more. Who has 3 hours to spend listening to a guy try to sell you something? Even time-share pitches take less time! Needless to say we are canceling the appointment. Good luck with these guys.

Power Home Remodeling is not your average contracting company. They genuinely care about their customers and work to accommodate all of their needs. Everyone we dealt with from the initial visit to the installers to the project managers, took the time to answer all our questions and concerns. They are extremely thorough in promoting the benefits of the project, whether replacing one window or ten windows. And they work their hardest to make the project fit your budget. Everyone at PRG is extremely polite and helpful. Once our project was done, the only evidence of work having been done were the new windows. Not a spec of debris was left. From start to finish, our best experience with home remodeling. PRG has made me a repeat customer and I would recommend their work and products without batting an eye.

I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Power Home Remodeling Group. A representative called a few days ahead to confirm the install appointment. On the morning of the install, another representative called to let me know the name of the job supervisor that will be coming to my house and the exact time the team would arrive. The crew got here as promised, was very personable and professional, and did a great job replacing 11 windows in my house. They protected the areas around the windows before doing any tear down and they cleaned the area after they finished. The job was done quicker than I expected! The supervisor then made sure I knew how to work the windows and how to register my warranty. I would highly recommend Power Home Remodeling Group to anyone needing work done on their home.
