There are many mortgage brokers in business today. Some local and some national companies. They all, pretty much, sell the same products. The only thing that sets one apart from the rest is customer service. In many respects, that is all they have to sell. Good customer service; even excellent customer service are words that are bandied about quite freely in the context of modern business. We have all dealt with customer service reps in India or the Philippines or Mexico. You will find the meaning of customer service at City Creek Mortgage. Not good customer service or even excellent customer service, I mean extraordinary, world class customer service. Words that are not taken lightly at City Creek. Mike Roberts, through his leadership and professionalism, has instilled these principles in everyone who works at City Creek. It was obvious that everyone working there loves what they are doing, has made a personal commitment to excellence and work as a team not only for their employer, but for every customer that walks through their door. The loan process for me was, perhaps, longer, and at times, more complex than normal. Through the entire process, it felt as though every associate at City Creek was there to help. I had the good fortune to be working directly with Brandi who helped every step of the way, and was completely open to my ideas, as well as, provide creative ideas of her own. I knew I could always count on Brandi to answer a question, return a call, or provide insight into the process. A committed, intelligent, and wise young lady beyond her years. My wife and I are in our senior years and Mike and his professionals at City Creek have provided us with a sense of security in our future and we are now at ease about what lies ahead for us. We recently refinanced our mortgage through City Creek and had an amazing experience. We had just enough knowledge of the process to know that we would be working with several people as the loan moves from origination to processing to underwriting and that something unexpected could happen at any stage to stall closing. We loved that our team of professionals was laid out at the beginning, we were informed what each party would be doing and how long to expect. Each email that required action on our part was followed up with a phone call. The document repository was super easy to use and made document exchanges low effort. When our appraisal came in higher than we projected, we were offered the option of increasing our loan amount. We only had to go to the office twice and both times, we had an exceptional experience. The decor is modern, beautiful and welcoming. We were greeted promptly, offered refreshments, and received awesome client gifts at closing. We really appreciated the attention to detail on the customer experience. Bottom line, this process could have been long and arduous but instead it was timely and low-effort. We’ve already had two friends thank us for referring them to City Creek.

We refinanced through City Creek and I will never go anywhere else for any future mortgage. I liked our original mortgage broker fine, but the level of service there was not anywhere near the level of service we got at City Creek from Brandi and the whole team. Our house needed some repairs desperately, and those kept delaying the process on our end. Several times throughout the process I thought there was no chance of the refinance going through. Each time, Brandi calmly assured me that it would still work and showed me the steps we needed to take to move on. Once or maybe twice there were situations that she invented a way to get through for us. She told us she would make it happen and backed it up, even when we were almost ready to give up. I felt like we needed a lot of help but she kept telling us that it was alright. I would expect any professional company to do a good job and to be polite and helpful, but I would never have guessed that we would be treated like friends. I felt more like she was helping out some friends rather than conducting our business. They were a great company to have working for us and we will certainly use them again later in life.

So, I just refinanced through City Creek Mortgage again and it brought me right back to my review from last year when I clicked the link to leave a review. I read through it and nothing has changed as far as my approval, my appreciation, and the great experience I had with City Creek Mortgage. City Creek Mortgage has gained a loyal customer here. (review from last year below) Only my 3rd time going through this process, but the best experience by far. There is no doubt that I will do business with City Creek Mortgage in the future and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a new loan, refi, etc. I was assigned to Kristi to take care of my loan and she did a phenomenal job making me feel like I was her only customer and her primary concern. She answered every question I had with a considerable amount of detail and always offered additional options that I would not have otherwise been aware of to make sure we were getting the best solution for me and my family. City Creek Mortgage was amazing! They made the process easy and treated us well especially for being first time home buyers with absolutely no experience. We always felt important to them throughout our process, and they answered all of our questions. Alexis was amazing and was there for us from start to finish! There was a mix up of dates that caused some grief and they had to do a lot of work on our loan in a little amount of time but we got in touch with Alexis and she was very professional about the misunderstanding. City Creek Mortgage is absolutely amazing! I have worked with them twice, once on a refinance and again on a new home purchase. Not only are they professional and very knowledgeable at what they do but they are fantastic to work with on a personal level. I always knew what stage of the process I was in and kept in the loop. City Creek followed up with me every step of the way and let me know exactly what they needed. They were always available immediately via phone or email for questions and to talk if I needed it. The process was so smooth and fast for me. The rate was incredible and fees reasonable. Buying a home or refinancing can be stressful but with City Creek Mortgage it was a pleasure! City Creek Mortgage gave us outstanding service in re-financing our home in our attempt to lower our monthly mortgage payment. The staff was extremely professional and friendly, not to mention helpful. We were leery of re-financing since we recently had a bad experience with another mortgage company and all of our concerns were alleviated by the people at City Creek Mortgage. We closed in a record 20 days with a mortgage payment $168 less than we were previously paying, which for retired people is a big savings. We were treated with respect, patience and concern for our needs. At closing we were treated to VIP parking and warm cookies. We started a refinance with another company but it was slow moving, confusing and frustrating to get straight answers about rates, and fees. One day I heard an ad for City Creek Mortgage on the radio promising that I could go to their website and see my options with no obligation and no run around. I found a loan that would work for me and put in my application. The application process was simple and I heard from Michelle the very next day. Michelle and her team made things so easy, and were always available to answer questions. When we went to closing they continued to blow us away with the warm cookies, and friendly greetings. Everything started out great, great interest rate, great customer service etc. After having some unfortunate things happen in our case, our refinance became quite a challenge for us with some poor communication. through a series of events that left us feeling a bit beat up we were just glad to be done with it all. I used their services about a year ago and even when everything worked out at the end it was a nightmare to get everything finalized. My paper work went thru several people and one of them had been fired so the paper work was just sitting there for a while. I had to call and complain about it. Long story short it took over 3 months and several different staff to get all done. Using a different company this time.... As a first time home buyer, I was very excited by the prospects of owning my own home, but was dreading the whole process of obtaining a mortgage. Fortunately for me, Mary, Heather and the rest of the team were wonderful to work with and all my worries were for naught!
