"Just right" roof for us We interviewed about half a dozen roofing companies before deciding to go with Collis. A few smaller outfits took one look at our roof, which is two stories and has a very steep pitch, and we never heard from them again. One company seemed to want to “upsell” us a roof that was disproportionately expensive to the value of our home. With Collis, we got the “Goldilocks” effect…”just right” for our budget, and the clincher was they could install solar panels as well. Greg Dickey, who worked with us throughout was great, as was Jack Garcia, who oversaw the reroof job. The speed and efficiency with which they were able to complete the roofing once the contract were signed were truly amazing. The crew would arrive at dawn and work until sunset. All the crew was polite, and diligent about the clean up. The roof looks beautiful and we’re confident our investment increased our home value. Collis has a separate Solar Installation branch that worked with us to get the required paperwork from the city and TECO completed. Denise Koswalske, the Solar Manager, was professional and responsive. She took the time to explain to us how the project would work. We have online monitoring of our Solar system, so we can monitor how much energy we are producing. With some additional tree trimming/removal, we anticipate most of our energy needs being met with our solar panels, including electric cars. It’s a good feeling! We’re very pleased with Collis’ professionalism and highly recommend them.

WOW ! … is how I should start this review. I have been a Tampa Bay Area Realtor for 28 years. Over the years I have dealt with a lot of different tradesmen, contractors and Roofing companies. The true professionals at Collis Roofing (out of Lakeland, FL.) … are very much appreciated, and hereby recognized. They took so good of care of my 86-year old Mother, and her leaking roof. Starting the process with Mariah (Re-Roof Administrator), she was so professional, informative and NICE ! Then it was on to Greg, (Estimating Specialist) … who not only went out immediately to provide his very professional estimate, but then to use some remnant material to stop my Mom’s leak, until their crew could come out to do the re-roof job. Then … here comes Jack (Field Supervisor), and his great crew. Myself being some distance away, Greg and Jack both emailed me “Before” and “After” photos of my Mom’s roof. Jack even came back out after the dumpster was removed, and used a huge magnet to make sure no nails or metal was left in Mom’s yard. Mariah even hand delivered to my Mom’s front door, the invoice and warranty. I’ll end this long (but necessary to me), review … with another, WOW ! and a huge THANKS ! My re-roof will be in the near future … with these great people, and this great company. Mark :)

We would like to extend a special thanks to the Collis Roofing Company. Over the past 2 years we had some heavy winds and rain come thru the area. It took off a shingle tab here and there. Over time had some 25 to 30 shingles tabs taken off. It was time for a new roof. We contacted our homeowners insurance told us to look for a roofing company. COLLIS was right there at the top of the list. We contacted them and they sent out Mr. Greg Dickey , a roof inspector specialist with in the week. He was very professional and knowledgeable on his job expertise (thank you). He had several options to choose from: a basic roof repair to a better rated roof repair with better manufacture warranty. . We went with the upgraded roof repair. That roof option helped lower our homeowners insurance, and a better piece of mind for years to come. Collis Roofing took care of all the permits we needed for a new roof. They kept in close contact with our insurance company. Had a crew out at 7:00 am. The whole job was done by 5:00 pm. (a special thanks to the crew) The roof looked magnificent- a great roof repair. They did a fantastic job, even in the estimate process,no hidden fees no guessing, actually got on roof and did a real estimate,not a guesstimate like other roofing companies I had come do bids.I had major wood rot, different roof lines due to additions over the years before i bought the home, none of the falshing was installed correctly from prior roofing companys this why all the leaks and wood damage,even did a great job flashing my chimney,work was done quickly and exactly as described.NO leaks roof looks great even has the new vent system with the shingles they used,electric bill has dropped dramatically.workers was very nice.Supervisor over job was very helpful and always here watching work being done.Very professional company.I would highly reccomend this company for any type of roofing,like i said they used high grade materials and pay attention to all details.Thank you guys for doing my Roof.I am happy with it. From beginning to end this was a fantastic experience. Greg Dickey met with me, gave me a quote, educated me on the different types of roofing, and helped me decide what would be best. The work was scheduled, the permit pulled, and the work executed. The roof was inspected by both the county and Rick, the Collis representative. All of this was done seamlessly! I have to be honest, there has not been a company I have dealt with in two decades as efficient and with such integrity as Collis Roofing. The team of men that showed up at 6:40am and left at 5pm were extremely hard workers and finished my roof in one day. They smiled and greeted me in the morning and smiled and waved as they left in the evening. Great group of men. Considering the mess re-roofing produces they did and excellent job of cleaning up. I love my new roof! Thank you so much.

One word describes collis roofing PROFESSIONAL. I had 5 estimates on my roof before we made a decision to go with Collis. Greg came to our home (on time) prepared with samples went on the roof and took video. Explained all the options and never twisted our arm to get a contract. You can trust what Greg says is what is gonna happen. My roof was done in 1 day exactly how it was written in the contract no short cuts. The crew was kind and curtious and took special care not to cause any damage to my home. This is an A++ company that stands by what they say. Amazing Job !!! Amazing Customer Service !!! Amazing Price....From the moment Greg Dickey showed up at our door I knew we had found our Roofing Company. The price was very fair and the customer service was second to none. Bengtsson residence new roof. We have had the best experience with the staff at Collis Roofing, everyone from Greg Dickey who did our estimate, to the employees and job foreman Jack were pleasant and trust worthy. Jack made sure the area was cleaned up to Collis standards at the end of the job even if it meant a return trip on a Friday night! We had other quotes as this was a big investment for us but we are beyond happy with the quality of the work and people that have worked on our home in the last week. We have no complaints. I would not hesitate to recommend Collis for any of their services.

Collis ( LAKELAND) did an amazing job start to finish on my roof, solar and gutter replacement. Being an out of state owner I had concerns since I could not be there at my rental property for the work . The high tech, professional and timely response I got throughout the job was above par on every detail. Dealing with Greg Dickey has been hands down the best business transaction I have ever had! My roof was destroyed by a tree due to a hurricane. Greg Dickey worked with me the whole way through it, he provided me quotes for two different prices for roof repair, he even out sourced an engineer to fix the gable that was destroyed, in return help me get more money back on my claim to help with repairs. He also offered some money saving tips on some other work that could be done, rather then his team do it (Because he would have charge) Overall it was a great experience for a terrible moment of time. I fully recommend Collis Roofing and working with Greg.

Had a roof leak and Collis came out inspected my roof and gave me an estimate for a roof replacement. Because I had an active leak, the they put me on an ASAP list and from estimate to completion was about a week and a half. The work quality is great and my roof is better than new. The only complaint I have is with the office telling me that an estimator will contact me within 24 hours and I had to call them back.

I have used Collis Roofing 3 times in the last 5 years. Once to do my own home. Then to repair some soffit on a rental home. At last to replace my sisters home. Now you know they are good when you have them in your phone as the only contact for roofers!!! I would recommend, and have recommended Collis to many people.
