I contracted Castle Windows to install 10 replacement windows in my condo in February of 2010. I was clear to them that the installation required association approval. The salesperson assured me that they had a "Blanket Approval" and even made a written addendum to the contract that required association approval for the contract to be fulfilled. Months later when the windows came in, I received a phone call to schedule installation. I quickly took the earliest date and asked if they could fax or email me a copy of the association approval letter. They never did. I then called the association myself and found out that there was no such " Blanket Approval" and that in fact the association was never contacted by Castle Windows. I called to cancel the installation and Castle Windows tried to persuade me to have them installed without approval. I became very uneasy about how they were operating and decided to cancel the order completely. Since 2010 Castle Windows has been harassing me through collections agencies, and now a law office in an attempt to collect money for services and goods I never received. They even started to harass employees of the association. Bottom line, I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere for replacement windows.

I regret the day this company ever entered my life. I ordered 4 replacement windows. The man who came to my house to estimate the order told me that Castle does not hire outside contractors for installation. The next step someone was sent to my house to measure for the windows. On the day of installation Castle sent outside contractors to install. They removed my old kitchen window to install a new garden window which they dropped and the window broke into several pieces. Now I had a hole in my house during the month of March. I sent the workers to Home Depot to board up my window. A new window was ordered and then several weeks later installed. The new installers put in the window and obstructed an electrical outlet: completely covered it. This is against building code and when I called the company Castle blamed it on me for not having the electrical outlet moved before installation. This I would have done if I had been told to do so in advance. One year later I had those windows reinstalled by a contractor as there was so much draft. The new contractor told me that insulation had not originally been installed. This cost me an extra $300.00 dollars.

I decided to go with Castle Windows after checking out Home Depot and Lowes for vinyl replacement windows. Sales Rep showed up as scheduled. He was up front with pricing, and install time frame. Price was fair and no hidden charges. Within a few days a appointment was made and kept to do exact measurements. I received a call a few weeks later that my windows are ready. Scheduled for next day install. Installers showed up on time. The windows came as ordered. The installers listened to my concerns and did a excellent job installing my new windows. I can not say enough about the install crew that came. Excellent job. In summary: Castle Windows did a excellent job from start to finish. I can not think of anything they could have done to make this process any better. I had (7) windows replaced and will be contacting them again when I need others replaced. Thank you Castle Windows and the great install team.

What an awesome experience from beginning to completion of the project. I met with Castle 3 weeks ago and decided to go with Castle based on the quality of the Windows and the life time warranty. The Windows were installed yesterday--while the weather was very rainy in the morning, the crew was able to do a lot of the inside work, when it cleared around lunch time they kicked it in gear and became installing machines. All 8 of my windows were installed, complete with interior trim and look fantastic. Everyone I dealt with from my first phone call to set up an appointment to the completion of the project was professional, courteous and eager to ensure the job went smoothly. Yes, the pricing may be a little higher than some but the extra cost is well worth the peace of mind knowing the job was done right. I love my windows. Thank you Castle for making me a very happy homeowner!!!

Requested a quote for new doors. Sales guy gets here on time and was polite. It went downhill fast when he wouldnt work with me since my husband was not home. Can you tell me why you need two people present to obtain a quote? I can. It is so they can give you the hard sell. Not interested in hiring a company who does not quote a women with out her husband or vice versa. I can understand when contracts are signed to have both parties present. Other than that, red flags everyone!! Thanks for the passive aggressive rude and dismissive 15 minutes salesman. Those tricks might work on some people but not me as I have had plenty of other companies quote me without my husband. This is 2017 Castle so get with it!

I have worked for a few of the large competitors in the window industry over the last 23 years. I can tell you this comparing quality to similar quality Castle Windows is the most competitive pricing in industry. Not to mention a warranty that nobody in industry can touch. On personal note this company also treats its employees ( meaning Me ) with respect and actually pays us what its owed like many of other companies over the years did not. I have been with company for several years now and can tell you every customer I have ever had has nothing but great things to say. Remember you get what you pay for. Castle would rather explain the price once rather than apologize for poor quality over and over.

I am not sure if the complaints are for the Castle in MT. laurel NJ or another Castle location somewhere else. I live in Central Jersey and the Castle in Mt. Laurel NJ did my whole house. There pricing was very good and there installation was flawless. They did an excellent job and did not leave a mess. One screen was ripped and they said they would come back and fix it, the very next day a service tech came out and re screened it. I recommended 2 of my neighbors and 1 bought from Castle and they are also very happy. The other neighbor went with a contractor and 2 months later he is still waiting for his windows. Castle is a great company!!! A+ with the BBB

I refuse to do business with this company because of their strong-arm (and downright rude) tactics and customer service. I received 7 calls on the first day I contacted Castle Windows. I had already spoken to someone and told them I would be calling back to schedule an appointment. These 7 calls were nothing compared to the ELEVEN calls I received the next day. Every hour on the half hour I got another call trying to schedule the appointment. When I told the rep their contacts were excessive, she was huffy and made a snide remark before hanging up on me. I will be taking my business elsewhere and recommend others do the same.

Damaged my home and sold me cheap windows at an inflated price. I found the same windows hundreds of dollars cheaper at Home Depot. Their gimmick is to sell cheap windows and then offer service for life. They offered me terms I could not afford, and when I was late paying, they threatened to call the police and have me arrested for fraud. I am a senior citizen and I am warning all senior citizens to beware of Castle Windows. Oh, and listen to this. They gave me an estimate for a roof replacement of $22,000 - I had it done by a reputable company, complete tear off, everything, for $6800. These people are dishonest. Be careful

The sales guy was relentless and as a very new homeowner, I fell for it all. Honestly, the windows are fine, however, my contractor installed regular home depot windows two years later and they are just as good and a fraction of the price. I would NEVER hire Castle Windows again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else. PLUS they still didn’t finish the job actually and that was 2 1/2 years ago. I’m still paying off these damn windows AND to top it off, they never remove me from their damn calling list, even though I’ve asked several times to put me on their DNC list. NEVER again!

Asa first time user of this company I have to admit that I have mixed emotions regarding my experience. Even though the product and workmanship were great, the purchasing experience was, what I felt, somewhat harried. I was presented with an opportunity to take advantage of a sales promotion but I had to make the purchase "right now". rather than given the opportunity to dwell on the sales price nor was I gen the opportunity t o do comparative shopping as such I feel that I was pressured into buying. as a result I felt that I over paid for the project without having any recourse.

I bought 15 quality windows from Castle Windows in 2014. I had a variety of styles to choose from and I am very pleased with my windows. I received a great price, the salesman, installers and the manager were very respectful. The installers completed the job within one day, cleaned up and notated any issues. Castle returned promptly and corrected any issues. I had one service call, Castle showed up on time and was very efficient. I plan to get doors and siding from them in the future. I have recommended Castle Windows to several people. Castle stands by their product.

Craig Lord came to help do an estimate for my mother in law. And was very patient and understanding and did everything he could to give her a fair and great price. They really seem to care for their customers instead of Renewal By Anderson who came and did everything they could to rip her off!!! Its awesome to know there are still companies out there that care for the customers and do amazing work!! He also went through all the lifetime warranties with us and did all he could to give her what she wanted. Not what he wanted to just make money for the company.

I have done four houses with Castle, the product quality is good and the life time warranty is fantastic. WE have had kids walk through the screen door several times over the years and each time Castle came out and replaced it no charge. One thing I think is driving the negative reviews is their customer service and back office is incredibly unorganized. Hard to get information, seems like when you call no one knows what is going on - If they fix the in house back office and support - mostly pre-installation- I think I would rate them easily five stars.

Beautiful windows and excellent installations! I had people come to give me estimate, they walked away told me that they could not do the job. Many big windows and hard work to get rid of old metal frames. And Castle not only have the best price and did the best design to give the house such a beautiful look! All my friends including the one who is a contrater were so impressed by the quality of the windows. Not only it serves its function, also it beautify my house. I am blesssed to live in a house that surrounded by beautiful windows.

We purchased a new front door. The salesman explained the advantages and quality of the product and the installation process. We were preparing the house for sale and had a short time frame. Our ordered was expedited and delivered/installed as promised. Installation quality was excellent. The front door is important for first impression for a home sale. The extent it contributed to our sale cannot be known for sure, but we sold in less than 5 days. We were glad we made the investment.

Castle Windows is out of business but you still see their adds all over the internet. Called the 800 number in Laurel, NJ and they said for a mere $160 they would put you under their warranty program. Have had windows since Jul 2008 and the only complaint has been having to replace the sash releases. What I called for today. Good thing I still have a couple of the left and right releases left. Just replaced 4. Go with a national, reputable company if you want service after the installation!

I feels the experience with Castle Windows and Doors was excellent . I do not think anyone can beat the prices . The gentlemen whom cam to the house to talk to my wife and I was very professional and polite. He took the time to explain everything to both of us. I feels they were excellent with the way the presented their information.They worked hard to give us a discount on the work and supplies. i am very pl;eased with the life time agreement on all work and most of the supply.
