I recently had a problem with my A/C unit and I called Dr Cool. The technician set down with and we discussed the problem and went over the various options available to me. We scheduled the replacement of my evaporator coils for today. The install crew showed up ahead of the scheduled time and went right to work. They explained what they were going to do and finished the job in a short time. When they finished the work they made sure everything was working to my satisfaction and cleaned up. They then went over what they had done with me and was on their way. I have been using Dr Cool & Prof Heat for a year or so and I have nothing but exceptional service from these guys. If I have questions Jimmy is always right there to answer my questions! I highly recommend these folks for all your HVAC needs!

From the very beginning the experience with the staff was exceptional. Nick went above and beyond to work with my hectic work schedule and to answer any and all questions I have. The team he sent (JR and Van) worked hard and were extremely professional finishing a complete new system and duct work replacement in two days! The fact that the company gives a 100% satisfaction guaranteed or no payment says it all. Nick waited until I inspected that the work was completed to my satisfaction; then took the time to come and inspect the work himself and explain the new thermostat system to ensure I get the most out of the new A/C system. I would definitely recommend them for all your A/C needs. Thanks for the great work guys!

We’ve been satisfied customers of Dr. Cool and Professor Heat since 2007. On April 13th, Eddie Clark performed our annual spring tune-up on our air conditioning system. The one word that comes to mind is “meticulous”. Eddie did a very thorough job. He took pictures as he went along and used them to inform us about the condition of our units and also to point out one area that he felt required repair. He is very courteous and professional. We highly recommend Dr. Cool and Professor Heat. All of the technicians and support staff we have dealt with have been helpful, knowledgeable and professional.

Dr. Cool & Prof. Heat installed two new air handlers in my attic right before I left on summer vacation. A month later when I got home I had water running up through a sink and down from the upstairs bathroom through two floors to my garage because they tied the condensate line in to the vent line for the bathroom lavatories rather than the drain line they had previously used - a vent line they had to find buried under the insulation in the attic. A plumber called the next day confirmed that was the problem. Dr. Cool/Prof. Heat says they are not responsible for any of the damage done.

This is a little different review. I recently had these guys out for a service call on my A/C. A mistake was made in the diagnosis/service of my unit. It can, and does happen sometime. The manner in which the service mangers dealt with my issues was wonderful. There was no run around. Very honest and straight forward. They sent the service manager to verify my concerns. Even though my A/C was fixed by another company this time, I will happily call back to Doctor Cool and Professor Heat for future service. These guys do good business and did right by me.

First, very nice staff! Second, when my ac went out. I called 5 different companies for quotes. This happened to be the highest service call of 162.00 just to come out! And,...not even for the same day. I was sooo annoyed by the price. I ended up using someone else for a 1/4 of the price. I know companies are busy,...but, i just thought that was ridiculous. I gave two stars beacuse of the friendly staff. Im sure there techs are great,...but, wanted to share this information. Plus i had a repair tech out within an hour.

Very pleased with the service we received on the replacement of our A/C unit. Angelo explained all the different options available to us. The two technicians that installed our new system, Nic N and Jose were extremely professional and courteous at all times. Their work was exceptional. Even asked them several times if they were going to take a break. Definitely recommend this company to anyone needing A/C or heater upgrades, repairs or check up!

Excellent customer service with HVAC specialists that are honest and always do a great job. Last night our AC was down. Within 2 hours of our call for service at 5pm, Eric appeared. He correctly diagnosed our problem and the AC was running 1 hour after his arrival. I did not eventually hire Dr. Cool to replace my AC, but I wanted to recommend them anyway! A technician named Luke came out to give me an estimate and he was extremely professional. He explained everything very clearly and gave me an in-depth analysis of my situation. I ended up choosing another trusted contractor in the end, but I would have been very comfortable with having Dr. Cool do the job.

This company proved itself to be one of the best. The guy that came out was very professional and seemed to really know the technical side of HVAC. I think his name was Nick. My unit seemed to have froze and quit cooling. Nick explained to me in detail what happened and why it happened and he was able to fix the problem before he left. Wonderful service! Eddy came out to do the spring/summer inspection and he did a thorough inspection with pictures on his phone and then explained everything - I thought the pictures were terrific as I learned a few things too. I also had been having a vibration noise in my wall and he was able to pinpoint the source. Great service and great techs.
