Our experience was dismal to say the least. This company did not in our opinion complete their installation job of our furnace, which included installing the dehumidifier to the furnace that our insurance company paid for, nor did they install the furnace we had wanted even after charging an additional "upgrade" fee. Also they were contracted to install a new A coil to our Air Conditioner. This job was also not complete as they failed to install a critical receiver/dryer which subsequently caused the cooling system to fail as was indicated by a competitive HVAC contractor. Further, we purchased an extended warranty on the entire system with a credit due us for uninstalled heat vent registers valued at $300. They would not provide us with a copy of the Warranty as they insisted on sending it to the Contractor who hired them for our home. When we called them to service our system which we had or was supposed to have a warranty on, they refused to service their installed equipment even though Effective Air had been paid in full. A furnace, A coil, Connecting lines, and Duct work cost us approximately $17,000.00. For this amount of money, I would think the company would have considered us a Platinum rated customer. To this day 4-10-2015 we have not been able to get them to complete their job or honor their warranty which was contracted in 2009. I would use a great deal of caution when hiring/contracting Effective Air, Inc to do any work for your home. If you do, make sure your contract is extremely detailed. It is my opinion they were deceptive in their dealings with us. I would not recommend using them.

I have used Effective Air 3 times in the past for my HVAC issues and have been very satisfied with their quality of work. The last visit was the annual furnace maintenance rendered by Scott Belford. He was courteous, knowledgeable, competent and very detailed with his work. He spent time troubleshooting temperature gradient issues in one of the older furnace and made sure the issue was resolved. Great company to do business with.

Effective Air, in my experience has always had top-notch customer service. This morning my furnace broke, I spoke with Ken at dispatch (friendly and concerned) and a rep-Kerry (who was friendly and great at what he did), came out to fix it just 4 hour later. Kerry explained everything he was doing and what my repair/replacement options were. Everything was reasonably priced. Great service!
