I was involved in a car accident and sustained an injury as a result of the crash. I originally was managing the process by myself but because of the seriousness of my injuries and the level of my pain coupled with trying to manage the rest of my life it became too much for me to handle. I did some on line research and decided to contact Phillips Law Group. From the first conversation, the staff was supportive and professional. I specifically want to mention, Attorney Ruthann James, Ms. James immediately put me at ease, she made me feel like a priority, she was compassionate and understanding. I was impressed when she took the time to explain the process to me and talked to me as though I was not just a client she just met, but as someone who she truly cared about. She has always made herself available to me, I definitely feel like a priority. Her communication on the status of my case was timely and thorough. She is definitely an expert in the field of law. Although my case is not yet resolved, I have no reservations we will have good results. I would recommend Phillips Law Group to anyone. But more specifically, I would like to thank Attorney Ruthann James and her assistant Jessica, they both made me feel like I was not in this alone and I had “A” players on my side. Thank you ladies!

Phillips Law Group is an amazing help, they truly took care of every little detail from my accident, from my kids car seats to the total loss of my car. They made this tragic time in mine and my kids life feel like it was just a walk in the park. They made sure my injuries were taken care of by the best doctors. They even got me a very good amount of money for my total loss and suffering. I REALLY enjoyed working and talking with Cindy Messner and Kurt Maahs. Cindy was amazing to talk to she made me feel completely secure, and she is very funny. I always looked forward to talking to her, because it was the one of the very few times during my struggle that I would laugh and know my hard times would not last very long, with the team I had working on my case. It was nice to feel like someone other then myself truly cared about my struggle and accident and wanted the absolute best for me and my kids after my total loss of my car and my injuries. IF I COULD GIVE A MINUS I WOULD HAVE!! I retained this firm in april 2017 after my car was hit by another car. I was treated as a valuable client until I received a certified letter the other day indicating "the firm" was no longer representing me. No phone call, NOTHING. I called the paralegal, as I only spoke to the "attorney" briefly when the firm first took the case and she could not tell me exactly why her firm decided to drop my case. She told me she was going to "look for the file...she would get back to me." SHE DIDNT. I sent another email asking for my file and finally got a reply saying it was sent to me. THE ATTORNEY ASSIGNED TO THE CASE NEVER INFORMED ME AS TO THE REASON I WAS "KICKED TO THE CURB" which was done AFTER I had incurred $1800 in medical bills. THIS PLACE WILL TREAT YOU AS A VALUABLE CLIENT UNTIL THEY DECIDE THEY NO LONGER WANT YOUR CASE AND THEN WITHOUT EVEN A PHONE CALL WILL SEND YOU A CERTIFIED LETTER REJECTING YOUR CASE. I have contacted the State Bar of AZ. I was not even given the courtesy of being told why my case was "KICKED TO THE CURB"

First let me say this was not an easy case. There have been many ups and downs for my family. I will say my team of Amy Vela and Rosa Hall have been great. After a life changing accident for me and my wife Amy insured that we had information for every step of the case. We did not get the settlement we deserved but (this had nothing to do with the work of Amy and Rose). Unfortunately the minimal insurance laws in Arizona suck. With that being said Amy and Rose found every possible dollar that was available and every medical option to assist with medical needs. I would definitely recommend Phillips law group and definitely recommend Amy and Rose. P.S. Amy is a no bull attorney who stands up for her client and takes no bull from insurance companies or other attorneys.

My experience with Phillips Law Group was horrible with the attorney Any Vela. In a 3 month period, I spoke to her over the phone 3 times. We never met face to face from the beginning of my case to the conclusion of my case. I would call her, leave messages, but hardly ever heard back from her. The one person who actual did all the work and is more than a people person more than anyone I know was Rose Hall, who was the paralegal on my case. Rose acted more of an actual attorney than my attorney did. When Rose Hall receives her law degree, and if I ever need a lawyer again, even if she is working at Phillips Law Group, I would hope she would take my case.

I will say this about Phillips law... they take their time. My case took well over a year to come to a conclusion. While that may seem like a negative, its not. My paralegal, Bethany Magdaleno was a rockstar from start to finish. She kept me informed and responded sometimes within minutes to ANY questions or concerns I had. She was there as Phillips shuffled me through no less than 4 attorneys... Bethany stayed. I considered leaving this firm multiple times but Bethany convinced me to stay the course. I think that these large firms should give more credit to the people who tirelessly work to insure that the clients and Attorneys are satisfied.

It was quite relieved and pleased to have hired Phillips Law Group to represent my son who was hit by a car while riding his bike. Amy Olivas and her assitant Shannon are powerful team. They were assertive, knowledgable and very efficient in settling his claim, even when the officer didnt even ticket the driver who did not stop. Phillips Law Group did a great job for me. I never had to worry about paying a bill or if the insurance was going to pay me. I just concentrated on my broken wrist and getting back to my life. I have a settlement in 4 and a half months. They did try to get more but there just wasn’t anymore to find. Another thing that I would like to say, is they are very understanding and patient. I called constantly panicking and flipping out over and over. They just politely and firmly explained the way things had to go and that I should just concentrate on me, and to hang in there. They never sugar coated, they never lied.

Who Cares

I used this law office for my Soical Security case and while I won my case I am dissatisfied and would recommend using them. At no point did the sit down with me and answer my questions. On basic questions about the Soical Security prosses I was told the dont have a answer or that was something the dont do or that is done by a department I wad never allowed to speak to. Every time I talk to my lawyer I had to remind him that he had a complete medical history for me. I feel ripped off. I did pay $6k to have a clerk give the judge my medical records. I did it to have my questions answered form an experienced person.

We contacted Phillips Law office about a week after our MVA and since that day they have been absolutely nothing but amazing to us. They are VERY VERY quick to respond and always answer our questions no matter how silly they may seem. The staff are knowledgeable and are more than happy to share their knowledge. Megan is AWESOME!!!!!!! She has been on it from the get go. Montana Thompson is our attorney and Masser is also assisting on the case. Seriously, you guys ROCK!!!!
