They came after me for an accident that had not been dealt with through the other parties insurance company. I got into an accident with their client and it was her fault. I was switching insurance companies at the time, but I gave her my license number and information to have her insurance company call me. I did not hear about it for 6 months before Wilber and Associates contacted me trying to collect 2239.00. I didnt even know what insurance company was trying to get money from me...come to find out its because they were not working with an insurance company. Their client just hired them to blindly come after me for money with no proof or even my side of the story! Completely illegal thing to do. I wrote a letter reminding them of this, and they wrote me a letter informing me they would take off the hold they caused in my bank account. Then they never did it. Update: I just called them trying to figure out what was going on and Mr Wilber finally got on the line with me and yelled at me. Said I cost him 500 dollars because I counter sued him for trying to come after me illegally. He cost me 500 in legal fees as well. All I wanted was the letter to lift the held money in my account and he interpreted and yelled at me saying I still did owe that money. He also said the insurance company hired him...but at the time of the first collection try they couldnt tell me who it was. I was blind and had no way of knowing who I was supposed to be dealing with so I dealt directly with them. He is mad because I counter sued and he took it personally.....well when someone comes after me illegally for money....and doesnt give me a name or insurance company to deal with...then what am I supposed to do? I went after the person coming after me. He claimed I was in an accident and owed money, so....who am I supposed to talk to about that??? Him of course. He claims he didnt write any letter of the sort. I have the letter. He is a really angry and rude person. I wasnt even calling because I was upset...I just wanted to know if he was still going to do what the letter indicated. And if he hired a lawyer in my area to take care of it...then the lawyer sent it to me. I am going to contact them:)

These people are ruthless and RUDE!!! I got into a car wreck with no ins. Completely my fault and I obviously owe some sort of debt. This company told me a different balance every time I called them. Any time I had a question they were so condescending! Like, how dare I question this bill that fluctuates everytime I call?? I had already "settled" the debt, then received a call 2 months later with a bal 4 times as much as the original. Had to go on a payment plan, came upon some extra money to settle again. They gave me the WRONG balance and took my settlement which basically made them get MORE of my money. If I would have gotten the CORRECT balance my settlement offer obviously would have been lower! With no remorse or care they basically told me get over it. pay it or we will take your license. I understand they are just trying to do their job, but just like them I was just trying to do MY JOB, and pay the balance the best I could. To be so RUDE and condescending to someone who has general questions about an account is insane. I cant imagine if I didnt want to pay, or if I wasnt able to set up a payment plan. If they treat the "ideal" customer (ME) like this how in the WORLD do they treat anyone who is just a little less fortunate??? I am in no way fortunate either. A 25 yr old single mother, working full time and going to school. A little compassion and PATIENCE would go a long way!!

I am a State Farm agent and an expired insurance card with my name on it was found in a car involved in an accident. They tried to tie me to the accident first telling me I was the registered owner of the vehicle involved and I had to go to the DMV to clear my name. After spending 2 hours at the DMV I found out that was not true - WRONG! Then they told me I had to file a police report and have my company send a letter - WRONG! I tried to work with them to clear things up. After 3 calls, talking with 3 different people and getting different stories and requests trying to help them resolve any issue I finally reached someone who was calm and admitted there was no way they could tie me to the accident. They are just rude people trying to trap and threaten others to pay debt regardless of who is actually responsible. I was disappointed that not only Safeco, but my own company uses them to collect debt on claims. A total unethical company, which is the antithesis of what I know State Farm to represent.

I spoke w/ a rep today to advise them they needed to have the insurance companies work this out as this was a "no fault" accident. They decided they can play judge and jurry and demand payment w/out a judgement or even contacting my insurance company. I carry a $50k policy they are completely ignoring as it was their client that was at fault. When they found out I had no assests, they threatened to take my liscense. They cannot be trusted and have now been reported to the BBB as has Safeco Ins for trying to circumvent the court system. BEWARE.... they will try to scare you, but have no power. I should know as I have a deagree in account and 10 years in accounts receivable. DO NOT provide them w/ ANY info. Contact YOUR insurance company and let them handle these scam artists. As for me, since they have no court order, I am ignoring them and working with my insurance co and the BBB.

VERY RUDE. UNPROFESSIONAL. SCARE TACTICS AND BULLYING. They hung up on me when i began asking about what would happen if i didnt pay. I want to see an estimate and pictures and the rude lady hung up and called my boyfriend to bully him for money until he said he had to go that he did not have his debit card and was at work. She insisted that we pay by 9pm tonight or they would persue legal action. Ive consulted my own legal aid for extortion. This company needs to be shut down. Id file bankruptcy befor id ever give these people money if i had it to give for something that isnt even mine to pay. If your looking to hire these people to win you money. Dont. If the people getting persued take you to court it will get dismissed because of thier un lawful ways and extortionistic represenatives.

My sister received a claim from their office, she called to find out what it was for, and they were extremely rude to her on the phone. They were yelling and being "smart" with her, demanding she paid the full amount charged over the phone with her credit card. My sister did not feel comfortable giving her debit card information over the phone, and wanted to mail the payment in. They once again yelled at her, intimidating her to pay now or they would submit the paper work to suspend her license. Needless to say, I have never heard someone be so rude over the phone with a client, especially being a "law firm". The person who "spoke" to my sister was Ms. Reynolds. If I could rate them a 0 I would!!!

OMG WERE DO I START UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR. I WAS SO DUMB FOUNDED, MY PAPER WORK HAD BEEN MAILED TWICE THEY CLAIMED BUT IF I SEEN $50 MORE DOLLARS I CAN GET SAME PAPER WORTH THRU FAX. ITS BEEN 12 BUSINESS DAYS AND NOTHING IN MAIL YET. SO IM ASKING CAN I SEEN A PREPAID POSTAGE BY FED X COULD THEY SEEN IT BACK OH NO SORRY CANT DO THAT EITHER . THEY ARE A JOKE WHAT KIND OF LAWYER FIRM HANGS UP ON YOU THEN BE RUDE " I DONT KNOW WHAT TOO TELL YOU. SO I ASKED ARE YALL HAVING BAD WEATHER THATS WHY THE MAIL IS OFF HER REPLY IS OH NO THE WEATHER HER IS GREAT WE ARE GOING TOO MAIL ANOTHER ONE OUT... I SWEAR WERE DID THEY FIND THESE DUMMIES .

A fraudulent and abusive practice. I disputed a claim; they refused to hear my side of the story. I then attempted to negotiate a resolution of a matter despite the dispute just to simply get them out of my life. We reached a tentative negotiation, took my email to contact me about how to close it out and said they would call me back. They tried to call several times but left no messages; just hang ups. They never emailed. Now they demand the full disputed amount. Very rude, aggressive and unethical. No Stars should be provided in this rating. They are in the negative.

My boyfriend has been dealing with these people for almost a few months now. THEY ARE RUDE FOUL MOUTHED PEOPLE. terrible customer service. They have suspended his license because we couldnt pay 1800 up front for a 7500 balance and told us the payments would be 450 a month. IF I CAN SAY ANYTHING- WAIT IT OUT. THEY WILL GO LOWER WHEN THEY SEE YOURE NOT PAYING THEM!!!!! Needless to say finally got an AFFORDABLE amount paid and now we are having problems with paper work. Terrible practice. These people have no souls.

My experience with them was extremely professional, they helped me get my license back and get my claim paid off. My brother was involved in a car accident recently which he accidentally ran over a small fence. He had no insurance and a DUI, you live and you learnall he had was his license suspended, a month later the wilber group calls me and threatens to suspend my license if we dont pay $35,571. lol for a fence no other property damages, ridiculous. we are going to fight these people and not a single penny will come out of our pocket

These people are nothing but bullies they have been harassing someone I know, they call tell them they better pay and then hang up the phone what kind of behavior is that, I have never seen a reputable attorney act this way in any situation. And why would major companies want to be tied to these people. I heard METLIFE uses them and if I verify that they do, I will need to change my insurance company.

Rude & argumentative towards me. They even hung up on me while i was talking!!! Very unprofessional! Can someone tell Richard Bishop & Rudy Garcia (who must have been paid by these scam artist to give them 5 stars) not everyone is guilty of an accident or incident in which this fake firm claim people to be in....Its Hogwash & they better stop with the threats towards me!

This company should be placed out of business. The staff and team members are very rude and unprofessional. As attorneys they should be embarrassed to be represented buy class less workers, who does not know how to speak with their clients. I had a case being handles by this buisness and there "Claim Handler Kanesha" was rude, unpleasant, bitter, and incompetent.

Everytime you call they say the phone call is being recorded. Pam specifically told me all i had to pay was $75 by the end of the day to keep my account current and my license wont be suspended. Fast forward a week later, she said she never said that. So i asked to hear the phone call and they refuse to play the phone call. These people are horrible.

These people called and harassed me today about a debt I never had. An ex girlfriend filed a false police report stating I damaged her vehicle. This is an ON going investigation and these Wilber & Assiociates are threatening me. Furthermore I have an attorney retained and they still contact me. They have zero concept of the law.

Such rude customer service, the ladies are rude, they never send you your mail and then your licence gets suspended. An then they want you to pay $100 for something they never sent you in the first place and they have. I proof they sent you the first one. An if you ask them for proof they tell you no. This is a scam company!!
