I am a single mother of two. I was googling trying to find the perfect credit counseling program so that I could better help my family financially and I came across DebtWave. I absolutely love their customer service. I decided to go with a counseling company because I was not disciplined to pay bills in a timely manner. After using them, I have lowered my monthly payment and will be out of debt in the next year, if I continue to make all of my payment. Having one payment for all of my unsecured debt and loan payments has really helped my family. DebtWave was able to renegotiate rates with companies such as Discover card that had jacked my rates up to as high as 24.99% even though I had 1) never missed a payment and 2) had over a 700 credit score. My rate with Discover is now 6.99% and they had similar negotiations with other creditors. Thanks to DebtWave, I will have all of our debt paid off in a little over 3 years as opposed to 37. What a relief!

I had so much debt from college and living expenses that I was overwhelmed and sometimes left with only $5 in my account, the services that debtwave give are amazing. They go through all your expenses see where money can be used more antiquate, and goals to set on expenses towards living. They then go through time frame you are looking at, and the process of them contacting credit companies. They have helped me budget and be able to pay my debt off and live.

I understand we all have different experiences with customer service, but that was my determining factor/reasoning behind 4/5 rating.Customer service was inconsistent both via telephone and email. Great outlet for someone trying to get their credit back on track. I would recommend being on top of it if you decide to use them because they were very inconsistent as previously mentioned.
