Engaging Rohit Chhabra to work on my provisional patent was the smartest decision I made in 2014. Before I engaged a patent attorney I did months of research, through the lists of the most prestigious law firms. For me it wasn’t just a matter of how much it would cost, I wanted the best possible talent working to get me a patent to protect my IP. Rohit came recommended by one of his former co-workers, he was described as highly intelligent, dedicated and tenaciously thorough. With a strong background in computer science, I knew this was the best person to engage. Rohit didn’t take on my engagement until he felt satisfied he could complete it to the quality standards that he upholds for all his work, that turned out to be quite a high bar. Once engaged, Rohit went to great lengths to understand my invention, after several consultations he managed to encapsulate all of the concepts and my ideas around the invention. This process was invaluable for me personally as an inventor, clarifying what was unique and recording the full breadth of the invention gave me even more confidence in the marketability of my product. Also, Rohit made himself available at hours that other attorneys simply would not be available. He met a challenging timeline, working across national holidays and international timezones. Rohit committed to delivering excellence and thats exactly what I got. The final output was far beyond what I believed was possible, more detailed and robust than I thought was possible for a provisional patent. Keep in mind, I perused about a hundred patents, carefully analysing of a dozen of the most important patents in the related field. Rohit delivered far beyond my expectations, I feel it was 2-3x times better than I would have got elsewhere and far less costly. Rohit is a man of principle and a high calibre professional, just the sort of person you want handling your IP. I’d recommend the law firm of Rohit Chhabra’s patent law offices to anyone who believes they have a valuable invention.
