We used VanKeef Financial to purchase our home in 2010. We liked being able to complete all the paperwork through fax, email, or online at their site. We had several phone calls with the company regarding getting clarifications or information about our application. We had a pre-approval so we knew exactly how much we would be approved for once we found our home. We started looking at homes in Nov 2009 and made several offers between that time and May 2010. It was a difficult time get answers back on offers we made because so many of the homes in the area we chose were in pre foreclosure, foreclosed, bank owned, or rented. We finally had an offer accepted in May and closed the first week in July. We bought our home for a lot less than we were approved for so we kept well within our budget. The process itself was a little challenging leading up to the closing but that was due to the number of other buyers trying to close before the end of June deadline for the government homebuyers program.
