Worst experience ive ever had!!! I went to this school for a year it was the worst experience ive ever had. I went through 12 different teachers. Two of my teachers were on drugs, some wouldn’t show up for class and some would clock in then leave. The financial aide tried making me pay for missed hours that I didn’t miss and wouldn’t let me see any proof that i missed hours. They constantly lost our paperwork. Anything from lone paperwork, test our clock in sheets. You name it they lost it. I spent most of my time trying to teach myself . The majority of my time spent at Bellus was wasted. The owner simply doesn’t care about Her students. I can safely say all my classmate including the couple after me feel the same way. I feel sorry for anyone whos planing on going there.

I am currently a student at bellus academy as of two weeks ago. I wanted to learn to be the best and aside from the amazing kit that come with it. The academic program is flawless. The school covers everything that you can imagine and more. You get to do basics advanced and feed your creativity into it. I am a male student with little to no personal experience in the industry and. I have full confidence that I will be able to pass state board and land a high paying job and be able to be a versatile stylist. The outside contributions feature some of the best products in the industry and they go deep into the science behind every product.

The services are pretty good. Of course you are only be given to the seniors. If you want to make sure you get a really great person to cut, color your hair ask for someone on the **design team**. for massages make sure you ask for someone who has a firmer hand pressure. and when going for facials or waxing for someone who specifically likes doing what you are going for, sometimes they tend to give them to the students who need more practice, although seniors with practice, you obviously want someone who has done tonsof eyebrow waxes and who likes to do them versus someone who wants more practice!

I am very pleased with my educator and looking forward to learning everything that I need to be successful and amazing at it. Besides the amazing educators, the atmosphere creates an easy and upbeat learning experience where you can focus as well as apply your creativity to your work. Came here today for a facial, haircut, mani and pedi and was treated like a queen!! Such amazing service by people who really care. Morgan did my facial and was great at making accommodations so I could sit up since I am 37 weeks pregnant and boy was it relaxing. Natalie did an amazing job on my hair, mani and pedi. She listened to exactly what I wanted to do with my hair and did a fantastic job. I will be back for some color this summer! Thanks Bellus!

After touring the campus for my first time 2 years ago, I received a free service. I was blonde at the time and wanted to change my color and haircut style. The student who helped me with what I want convinced me more to want to enroll. After recieving everything I wanted it made me happy to know that one day I would be attending the school in the future. Everyone is so friendly and nice and the campus is so nice and comforting to walk into everyday.

After 4 tries I finally have something closer to what I wanted. Yet still was forced to leave without getting a proper blow dry due to the fact the instructor was in a hurry to get me out even though there were people still washing out. Not once on the 4 did they blow dry my hair proper. The rushed me out of the door each time. Needs better instructors and students that want to be there. Hit or miss...more often miss for me. Not sure I will go back.

I had my hair cut by Kelly C. at Bellus Academy in Poway and LOVE the cut. I have very curly and frizzy hair but she created a style for me that will work either with or without using my iron on it at home. The salon is beautiful and professionally run. In addition to the haircut, Kelly also gave me advice about products to use that will help control and care for my hair and give me the look I want. I will definitely be back for more!!

I got my hair colored by Taylor and I love the way it turned out. She was really nice and professional throughout the entire service. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Overall it was a great and relaxing experience. I definitely would recommend Taylor to anyone looking to get their hair cut and colored. My experience was AMAZING. Julie Cedillo attended me at there Poway location. She shampooed, blow dried, trimmed, and thinned out my hair. She works magic! I have a lot of hair, and she was very patient with it. She takes her time and makes sure everything comes out perfect! From the moment you call for an appointment , to checking in at front desk, to the services you receive ; this school is top notch . You rarely realize your at a school. The salon is run just like a professional spa but for a fraction of the cost. I have been coming here for years. They are very respectful the students are high quality and the teachers are the best! The day staff is amazing. I have been blessed with the best teachers for the estitician program. You are more than prepared for state board by the time you graduate.
