I call this company about 3 weeks ago , Im a property manager in the central Florida area and was looking for ac company options. A very nice lady answer the phone and told me that she was not sure if this company was able to deal with property manager , however she took my company information and told me she was going to call me back, few minutes later she said she was going to send somene over there the very next day and i went and gave her the tenants information and everything was set for the next day between 9am and 12 pm. Later that day she called me back asking for the owner information witch i found a little awkward i replied right away i will not be willing to do business with your company if you have to call every single owner and she said it was illegal to do a job without owner permission witch i found this very inconvenient and had never deal with a contractor that need it my owners permission and information but because i really needed to have someone to look at this property i provided my owner with this companies info , the owner of the house had to call at 8 am because they need his information before sending the ac repair guy. My owner called me back at 805 saying it was taking care off and 5 minutes later this ac company call me to confirm the apointment , great i schedule with the tenant, owner and myself to be at the house from 9 util 12 pm, by 11 am the owner left because he need it to work by 12 pm and by 1230 i got a call from management offices telling me they were not able to send someone because they dont work with property management ( how professional ) the person over the phone was very polite but keep saying how big of a company they were and that they not need it to work with property manager, witch i can respect but why they made me go over all this for nothing and wait after 12 pm to call me. the gentleman on the phone keep on talking about how big of the company was and how sorry he was of not been able to help at this point i was not worried about doing business with theme after what they have done!!!! i ended up paying with my personal credit card because i was still having and angry tenant with no air conditioning, the gentleman put me on hold and when got back to the phone told me he was going to give me a all back ( really? now im paying as a regular costumer and still have to get approval ) they must be doing really really well if they are taking customers matters like this. Any ways he did call me back right away and took my personal credit card told me the technician was going to take our home as top priority and was going to be there next ( estimated time 2 pm) the technician finally show up around 255 pm and told me he recommended to replace the ac unit, i remember r also him telling me he did not work for commission and need no reason to sell me an ac unit witch a found very unprofessional and poor customer service. he proceed and re-charged with freon and replace and old valve, I was charge $500 for this. the very same afternoon i got a call from this lovely company asking permission to charge my credit card and i said yes but please email me a receipt. 2 weeks later and still no receipt i call the owner of property and had him also requesting a receipt and nothing . I decided to write this review today because i called again and requested the receipt and still nothing after giving theme two different email and a faxt number. We also found out soda from a new company tat went there, the old valve was never change and the ac was over charged on Freon and that was one of the reason why the ac was no cooling. I HAVE NEVER DEAL WITH A COMPANY LIKE THIS THEY NEED TO BE OUT OF BUSINESS the lady that always answer the phone was very professional but also got very frustrated with me but im sorry is the place that you work for not me . People!!!!!!! DO NOT use this company i will not recommend to anyone even for FREEEEEE
I was prepared to write a good review, as I thought Justin appeared knowledgagble and did a good job. He explained to me some of the problems that I had or would have with this AC presently or would develop in the future. After listening to him, I elected to have a new AC installed. I decided on the unit (brand) and the price and placed a down payment. However, I received a call from Justin,a little later, telling me that they did not have the unit in stock, and they were discontinuing that model, apparently upgrading it in April. Justin told me that the unit that I was suppose to get was not available in their stock, that there had been a miscommication!!! Well to me, that is a * red flag*. I find too often, because I am a widow, and an older lady, people try to take advantage of me or ladies like me!!!!!! Telling us one thing and then coming up with something else!!! Justin appeared upset, as he also felt bad having told me one thing, then have to turn around and tell something else. At this point, I was ready to cancel the order. Justin asked if he could check around to see what they could do. He did call me back and tell me that they had found the unit I was told that I would get, that they had one in stock at another facility and they would be able to install it on the day we had agreed upon. I decided to go ahead with the installation. I felt bad for Justin, I think he was caught in the middle. But he has appeared to handle it, and I thank him for that. I liked him and was very pleased with the way he has handled this. Thank You.
This has been one of the worst experiences as a new home owner. I purchased a BRAND NEW HVAC unit from Promag and it has been absolute trouble ever since. The largest of these problems has been having my unit inspected by the county. Now, a year and a half later, still no inspection. Though, my countless calls to Promag and the county, I have still been unable to ensure that the unit was safely installed. I have had multiple appointment cancellations on service appointments. I have spoken to management, and through rude and crass "customer service" have had more problems with them than I can count. If it was not for the fact that I still need my unit inspected, I would not be dealing with them anymore. I cannot wait for the day that I can turn my back on this experience. I have asked on more than several occasions to speak with the owner JD Harris and still have not been contacted.
We are in the middle of a house sale and the inspection revealed the need for new GSI work and ultimately, a new breaker box. I found ProMag on Thumbtack. John Taggart came out and did the estimate for us. He was very pleasant and thorough in his work. Gerry came out to do all the work. He was amazing; efficient, hardworking, pleasant, and knew his trade extremely well. We understood why people said he was the best of the best. He really was! He stayed here for 12 hours on a Friday to ensure we would have power that night, and then came back Saturday to finish the job. The estimate was true; we ended up paying an extra $85 for a special GSI breaker and were not charged labor. The work passed inspection with flying colors this morning (5/19). We have kept all the paperwork and will be sure to recommend ProMag to the new owners. Thank you for all of your hard work!
After Hurricane irma, our roof was tarped & our AC coil broke and due to a shortage of the parts from the manufacturer, Promag Energy had to keep us cool by sending techs (John) to refill the freon until the issue could be handled. They did this at no cost to us and Teresa was successful in getting the manufacturer, Goodman, to agree to replace our entire air handler with a new one. Hector and Danny came immediately and installed the new unit quickly and did an amazing job. They were friendly and informative and it was a pleasure dealing with them. I recommend this company for their expertise and customer service!
I had a great technician, Brandon L., whom was very thorough in checking my system (AC/Heating). Without rushing or hesitating to answer my questions was careful and vigilant while servicing my system. Things that would eventually need to be replace or items that needed the immediate attention was pointed out. Example was the drain line was packed with slug and he expressed the consequences of on treating this condition. Brandon was very nice. Promag this is the kind of people you need up on the front lines. Give him a pat on the back or provide him with some type of accolade. LRS.
I had an air conditioning unit installed at my home on July 13th 2016. It has never worked properly. The unit runs constantly and the temperature in my home never gets below 85 degrees during the day. Today is the 3rd time I have called but I was told I would have to call back tomorrow because the office hours are 8am to 4pm and it was 4:05 when I called. This is definitely the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I would not recommend them to anyone. I will call them tomorrow but I am very doubtful that they will fix the problem. So disappointed with ProMag Energy Group.
To whom it may concern We had our air conditioner installed by Chris about a year ago and were very satisfied by your group and by Chris, your installer. The service was great and we enjoyed the experience of dealing with your company. Chris suggested to us that our system would need additional service regarding Mold forming in the air handler duct area. We have used ProMag for our air conditioning service for the past 16 years. They are responsive and attentive to our needs. We recently had to replace our air conditioner and there was one small problem the day after it was installed... we thought we were out of luck because we discovered the issue at 5:00 on a Saturday night. But we called Mike (our rep who had given us his PERSONAL cell number, just in case anything came up) - and they were at our home within an hour to fix it! Thank you for the excellent products and services you have provided over the years!
Fred was very helpful and considerate in assessing my air conditioning needs. The advice he gave me was in agreement with my thoughts. He made a few suggestions to help me along with my unit until I can do something else hopefully sooner than later. He put bleach in the area I have not been able to get to and it was long needed. He checked out the freon and the water line which were both good. Thank you for training your technician to be so courteous and kind in his ways. You guys keep up the good work. On Sunday Nov. 9th Hector and Eli were at my house for eight hours working their butts off. They had to work in the dark part of the time which made it even more challenging. They were very amiable and answered all my questions. Their work looks so professional that my neighbor even made a remark about the outside slab--mine is elevated and properly leveled while his is slightly skewed and basically sitting at ground level. I am hoping for many years of service and efficiency from my new Rheem. thanks for reading--ken
I had a problem with my A/C and called promag energy group. When the technician Fred came out he had my A/C fixed quickly. I was so thankful that it was only a fuse that needed to be replaced. Fred seemed to be very educated in air conditioning. He explained everything to me in detail which is not something every technician will do. My A/C unit is very old and will need to be replaced soon. I will be calling Promag for the job. I recommend Promag energy. Dawn Orlando,Fl.
