After contacting and vetting more than half a dozen lawyers, I still chose Ms. Labayen. She is not the cheapest but by far, she is not the most expensive bankruptcy attorney either. So far she has worked with me to resolve issues to my satisfaction. One caveat-she is very busy with her practice. For that reason, always fulfill any tasks she assigns to you at least days ahead of your deadlines and you may have to give her office a call from time to time to remind them what is happening. Otherwise, she appears to be more knowledgeable than other attorneys and well-worth her rates.
