I recently had to have the cooling portion of my forced air system replaced. I called Capital City Heating and Cooling around midnight on a Friday night. After talking to the sales person about my current system and what had happened I had one of two choices, repair or replace. I did not feel forced to do one or the other. After electing to replace the system I was given an all-inclusive quote for what it would cost. This quote was below others that I had previously received for replacement from other companies. I was scheduled for an install the next day. The next morning the install crew arrived and removed and replaced my compressor, cooling coil, supply/return lines and new refrigerant. I found the crew impressive for several reasons. My home has almost no crawl space, covered in brick, and the furnace sits in a small area in the middle of the house. None of these caused complaint from the technicians. Having spent time under my own house, as well as being a service technician previously, and with knowledge from being in the construction process I was impressed with the technician’s themselves. They were honest, friendly, efficient, thorough and knowledgeable. Most importantly, the only trace of them having been to my house was that I had fixed air conditioning and a new compressor that no longer mimicked a jet trying to take off.

I had Capitol City replace my A/C unit and furnace. They were very helpful and priced almost $2,000 less than the others. Their customer service and knowledge was great. They identified that the ducting to a room addition that was done by a previous owner was done very inefficiently and that our unit was undersized for the additional square footage that was added. The ducting issue was a challenge to resolve, but Capitol City returned to work on the issue twice and provided a quality solution without any additional charges. I would highly recommend them.

The owner himself serviced our home and thoroughly examined our furnace after we suspected dishonesty from A1 whom we have been a loyal customer of for over four years. I called 5 other companies for bids but ultimately decided to go with Capital City as the company clearly cared for the comfort and safety of my family over the sale that would benefit his company. I had originally posted a different review. There was a perfect storm of miscommunication. However Michael, the owner, came out personally after hours and was super nice. The communication issues sucked but he bent over backwards to make it right. I absolutely respect his work ethic and dedication to correcting any issues and making customers happy. He even said to me "I will not leave until you have AC." Not many business would make such a statement of commitment.

Great experience. We had no heat on one of the coldest days of winter. Our relief valve was leaking. We called Todds and they had someone at our house within 10 hours of our phone call. The technician fixed our problem that day and he waived the service charge because we had had Todds at our house earlier in the week for an unrelated matter. I would for sure recommend this company to everyone and anyone. Very happy with their service.

Great service. Woke up to no heat in the house, called at 7 am on Saturday morning. There was no answering service! Came out and replaced a fan, all done by 9:30 am. Did not charge us extra for a Saturday service.
