**EDIT** "Mike and Brian" I will not take down my review, I will not accept money from you and I WILL DO everything in my power to warn others of your misguided deceit. I also keep meticulous records of my own. I applied with your company on 7/3/16 and submitted my bank statements on 7/7/16. My closing documents were reviewed on 8/3/16 by my father in law and it was at this time I learned you were overcharging me by five grand and posting an overinflated rate. Frankly this had made me sick. You cannot hide your true intentions which is cheating honest, Christian people like me out of their hard earned money. TO ANYONE CONSIDERING DOING BUSINESS WITH MIKE AND BRIAN DO YOUR RESEARCH. CALL YOUR LOCAL BANK AND ASK FOR OPTIONS. I CAN ATTEST THAT THEY ARE PREYING ON CHRISTIANS LIKE MYSELF. --- I live in Baltimore and heard Mike and Brian on 95.1 The Shine Christian radio. I was also in the process of closing my loan at Fellowship Home Loans when I came across their reviews on Google. After reading several other reviews I was shocked. I had my father in law , who is a retired real estate broker with over 45 years experience review my closing docs. He quickly pointed out I was being overcharged by over five grand and Mike and Brian did little more than dismiss my concerns. I could not believe it. It’s unreal that these so called “Christians" are allowed to masquerade under the false pretenses of religion while selling a product that is so closely tied to our hearts, family and beliefs. Had I found out sooner I would never have given them my information in the first place. If I learned nothing else it’s that just because a reputable Christian radio station endorses a service that does not mean it is safe for us to do business with.

I initially looked up Fellowship loan because I heard of them on 104.7 The Fish, and I had been praying, and praying for a house for years but God has his ways and OMG!! Does he!! I have to say this specifically to LUIS DELGADO... Thank you sir for your infinite patience and your incredible capability to comfort me and my fears. This man literally took me by the hand and day by day he worked our loan to closing with a grace that I have never seen on any loan officer (and I know many that I choose not to ask for help because all they want is a check) not that there is anything wrong with wanting to get paid for your job. But I have heard and seen way too many horror stories in the RE market, I used to be a REA, and let my license expire because the things that some of these unscrupulous people will do to the consumer. Fellowship home loan was a breeze of fresh air, the kind you only get by the ocean. Thank you, thank you for getting us our very first home, thank you for encouraging me and restoring my faith on loan officers, thank you for your patience but most of all thank you for reminding me that GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME Luis!!! About 4 years ago, I was listening to the Mike and Brian show on WMCA Christias channel. What Mike and Brian prsented about their fim has been tested by 5 years later years later. I recnetly closed on my house and my promise to myself has been fulfilled. I contacted Fellowship home loans and worked with Bryan Duarte. I cannot tell you how patient he was with me,since I never had a home loan before. Bryan walked me and explained to me every step of the borowing process. The best part about dealing with Bryan is his consistently and constant communication throughout the loan. Truly great gentlemen to work with. For sure Fellowship has lots of great Christian values as every phone call ended with "God bless," a most soothing welcoming words to believers. Bryan helped me close on my house within a month. You cannot beat that time. One of the pros about working with Bryan was the requests for documents ahead of schedule, that helped expedite the process. Mr. Michael Rakeman and his staff are very helpful and kind. Mr. Rakeman updates you and is always there to answer your questions. He is very friendly and also works very quickly and efficiently. I was hesitant to work with Mr. Rakeman at first because I had bad experiences with other lending companies, but when I did decide to give him a call, he was very informative and patient, he told me everything that I needed to know about the whole process, and he gave me hope that I would actually be able to be approved for a better loan. I am honestly very thankful to Mr. Rakeman for everything he has done for me and I recommend him to anyone I know. He is a blessing! P.S. Financially, I am relieved because I will not pay my mortgage for two months (January and February 2017).
