I have never written a bad review on anyone before, usually just suck it up and go on, but this experience was so bad I just have to share it. I’ve dealt with lightfoot in the past and have had good experiences, I don’t know what has happened to them. Anyway they came out to service my split air unit in my garage and said that the condenser fan motor was bad. I asked how much and he told me $1300 but said he would check the warranty since the unit is only four years old. Plus the $90 service call.I thought that was rather high So after he left I called Linda and asked her if she could tell me what the parts and labor cost were. She said no but Cissy could help so she transferred me. Cissy said we don’t tell people what The cost breakdown is anymore because we are now a “fixed rate” shop. I said well that seems high to me so I might want to just buy the part and fix it myself. She said we are not a parts house so I can’t sell you just the part. She also said that they checked and the part was not under warranty.She said I understand the unit is mounted on a pedestal 4 feet high and I said yes it is and she said well we’re going to have to send two men and a ladder. We have to completely disassemble the unit to replace that fan motor. I said I’m looking at the unit right now and it looks to Me like you loosen 4 mounting screws and unplug the power cable that is plugged into the motherboard and be done with it! I told her I wouldn’t be doing business with them anymore that I was going elsewhere. Well after a while I thought I should call Mr. Lightfoot and tell him what just happened because he might not know what’s going on in his own house! And about that time the phone rang and it was Cissy calling me to tell me that she had spoken to Mr. Lightfoot and that he asked her to call me back and offer a 15% discount to keep my business! Now stay with me folks it even gets better! Well I called a competitor and asked them if they could get me the motor and how much it would be. He called me back and said yes I can get you the motor at no charge because it’s covered under warranty! I got the part in and did the fix in 30 minutes and didn’t know what I was doing. I promise if I had I known what I was doing I could’ve done it in 15 minutes! Now I nearly buckled and let these people swindle me and It would not have been a lifestyle altering event for me but what about all the elderly people on fixed income, veterans, single mothers that these people are doing it to. Shame on you Lightfoot, I call it criminal!

We had an issue with our drain pan that our heater unit sits in being full of water. We found out when we had an ac service tech from another company come out to service our ac. He told us that we needed a plumber, but come to find out it just needed the line blown out. We called Lightfoot Mechanical and they came out on a Sunday and got us all fixed up and the drain cleaned. We also signed a service agreement with them because he took the time to make sure that we were well taken care of. We signed up with the Elite service plan to make sure that our electrical, plumbing and ac will now be taken care of for the next year. I highly recommend their services and will be sticking with them for the future.

Brandon came out to my home twice. The first was to assess what my electrical problems were and then subsequently to repair. In his evaluation of the initial problem, he noted several other things that were critically wrong and dangerous in my older home. I consider myself a good judge of character and I trusted what Brandon shared with me. I felt the problems that he showed me were indeed REAL issues that, though I preferred not to have to repair, I was without a choice for the safety of my family and myself. Brandon is very courteous and professional. I highly recommend him and Lightfoot Mechanical.

Gary Lightfoot and his so called company are not at all polite and or professional by any means! I had them over twice in the past six months to change out my capacitor and the second time they came out the service man drilled a 2 1/2 inch screw into my coils. I called and spoke with Gary (owner) and he was not helpful at all, as a matter of fact he was very rude and refused to resolve the issue by ignoring my phone calls and emails! This is by far the worst I have been ripped by a "professional company" ever! And I would not recomend them to my worst enemy.

Lance (salesman), Kevin (installer) and Gage (installer) were all wonderful to work with, as was Michelle in the office. All of the employees I talked to with Lightfoot Mechanical were well spoken, super helpful, and prompt. I would recommend this company easily to anyone. THANK YOU guys. AC was put in without incident and everyone at LFM is so nice. Brian (installer) and Dustin (installer) were both great. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of... Highly recommend this company.

Rod came first thing Sunday morning and checked out our units (Dakin) but could not find out why it froze up. I still gave Rod 5 stars because of his professional attitude and friendly personality. I replaced our 20 year old Lenox with 2 new Dakin 2 years ago so we would not have any problems. We have had a problem with both units in this 2 year time frame, both service calls were under the service contract but I would have to give the Dakin product a 2 or 2 1/2

Sam came out... He took forever. "Daignosed" that we needed a new air filter. Air filter was changed within the past 3 weeks, Einstein. Air filter was dirty due to underlying compressor issue. Compressor needed to be replaced. Diagnosed and replaced by a REAL company on the same day. Either Lightfoot is a SCAM company or Technician Sam is just completely unqualified. Glad there was no trip charge... Sam got NO money... NOTHING--which is what he is worth.

Was quoted $5800 for plumbing work from Lightfoot that I now paid $180 to have completed by another certified plumber in Weatherford. The Lightfoot rep said it would take lots of time and labor - like a week to complete. Other plumber that I just hired did it ALL today while I waited. 1.5 hours to complete. Lightfoot are total crooks! Have heard this from people who have actually worked for them in the past. Price gouge! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!.

Needed an outlet for above ground pool as well as a trench to go from garage to pool. They were exceptional especially in the Texas heat. On time, friendly, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. It was 105 degrees. And 48 % humidity the day they worked, I kept checking to make sure they were ok. Maybe some professional shorts or light weight long pants to help the customers feel better when great people are willing to work in Texas summers!!

Rod performed the most comprehensive A/C maintenance check I have witnessed over the past 16 years of owning this house. He checked all the typical areas and then he checked areas that had never been checked before. He even fixed a couple of safety issues / surprises left by a previous repair guy. He found a couple other issues and thoroughly explained the causes and solutions needed. I highly recommend Rod and Lightfoot Mechanical, Inc.

Shawn and Ryan came out on a different call to install an electrostatic filter system with UV purification. Both service calls were handled professionally. The employees are friendly. I liked the service enough to have them come back to estimate a through-the-wall system for my garage.

Rick, a Master plumber with Lightfoot Mechanical arrived about 30 minutes after I called for help, an after hours call. Was able to dislodge a drain problem which allowed two separate condinsate lines, which had shut down my tankless water heater and caused my air conditioning unit to route water to a secondary line which drips water over my back door to start working properly. Service was 5 star in all aspects.

A special thanks to David, Cody and the install team, Jarrod and Greg. The AC is working great and they did a great job of installing, training and cleanup. David and Shawn are very efficient and knowledgeable. Performed repairs expertly. However, they did not call before coming out, was 30-minutes late arriving and took 2-1/2 weeks to schedule a repair time (had to get parts) in hot weather with no AC in Master bedroom for over a month.

We called them out for a sink that was leaking. They where there the same day (which is why I gave the 2 stars and not 1). The plumber advised the disposal needed to be replaced and gave an estimate of $600!! a disposal is $99, so they are charging $500 for a simple replacement!!!
