I initially gave HomeWorks Energy one star because I was really angry that they told me that the insulation work that they were offering would be done at no cost, and then refused to reimburse me as they promised. After I wrote the one star review, the owner of the business called and apologized for the poor communication and sent me a check for the money that was owed to me. I appreciated the way in which he made good on the promises that had been made to me. I would also like to add that the work people who came to my house were very friendly and did a nice a job, though they also cancelled scheduled appointments and there was a need to reschedule. But ultimately I was satisfied with the job that was done. It was just a long and labor intensive effort on my part to get things made right. But they were honorable ultimately, and thus the 5 star review.

I had a insulation scheduled for Today, no one came at 8am. I called at 9am and they said they were stuck in Traffic. I Called at 10am and they said the company doing the installation went out of Business and that no one is coming. They said they are a small company and that they are still working out the kinks. I guess thats how a small company gets a one star review. I took the day off of work, wrapped everything in plastic and removed everything from the walls in preperation. Saying that I am angry is an understatement. Feel free to contact me regarding the horrible customer service...

I cannot say enough for HomeWorks Energy and the representative, Scott Draper, that came to our home. He was knowledgeable, friendly and answered so many questions for us. We are thrilled with the free products we received: energy efficient light bulbs, shower heads and programmable thermostats!! We also have a plan now for some additional improvements we can make. This is a great program made even better with professional and pleasant home energy specialists to explain it all to you. Thank you so much!!!

The Energy Specialist (Steve), assessing the energy saving possibilities was punctual, thorough, professional, and informative. The installation crew (Dan and Matt) actually showed up earlier than expected. They were very respectful, and paid attention to detail as well as my concerns. Very pleasant to work with and great company representatives. Methodical in their approach and spelled out what each step of the project would entail. No unnecessary surprises. Overall project was successful.

I had an appointment with them for this morning (Tuesday). Nobody called me to cancel the appointment (even though they had all my contact information). After 3 hours waiting for them during and trying to contact them, eventually I could talk to a representative and he simply told me "For some reason, your appointment got cancelled! Sorry for not notifying you of the cancellation. We can re-schedule it for you" I might be so damn dumb to ask you to re-schedule this appointment!

Yesterday we had an energy audit from HomeWorks Energy Inc. Scott Droper did an outstanding job. He explained what is was doing an how it could effect our energy bill. The program is great - everyone should do it. My Home Energy Specialist was very knowledgeable and explained me all the details in a simple manner that I could understand. He went over every small detail even the ones I could not think off in the beginning. The program is worth the money but it is free, so you should definitely do it.
