I recently had my entire heating and cooling system upgraded. The team was very professional. Trent came out to diagnose an issue with my AC unit. He was very knowledgeable and was able to track down the cause of the issue quickly. Both my furnace and AC were about 17 years old and he walked me through the options on how to proceed to either manage the repair or schedule a replacement consultation. I had a replacement consultation with Drew and It was great to work with him. Very friendly and able to provide a great level of detail to all of my options. He would answer any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable with my end decision. Ultimately I chose to upgrade my whole system. Remarkably, Barlow was available to install the new system that same day. There was an entire fleet of the Barlow team at my house which turned my 2 day job into about 6 hours of work. This was much appreciated, considering all the things that had to be moved and installed. The team was Kris, Zack, Nate, and Brady. They were all very courteous, did an amazing job, and left the work site very clean. I was very impressed with the entire team and process. Nobody wants to replace their HVAC equipment, but if it does become a necessity, I highly recommend Barlow.

I had Trent come by to fix my old unit (he came the same day I called), and he did very quickly, he was very knowledgeable and professional. He told me about the newer units and how more efficient they are and set up a free consult about upgrading. Drew came and did some measuring and inspecting of what I had and gave me several options for upgrading. of course, I wanted the best system for the lowest price. I ended up getting what I felt was the best system, I got a new A/C unit, new furnace with humidifier, and a water heater. they had to make my return air vents bigger and add another return air line. they did it all in one day, Dave, Garth, Jones and about five other guys came. overall I’m very happy with everything, there was a small water leak from the humidifier line that Trent fixed when Trent and Drew came back a week after the install to see how everything was working. They truly did go out of their way to satisfy me. Great Job Guys!

Our home is 13 years old and this year our furnace finally gave up the ghost. I called JD and JD was able to make a trip to our home immediately. JD was very professional and kind. JD recognized the parts that were bad and gave us the run down on new parts as well as the option to replace the system. JD was knowledgable in which products would work best for our size home and family. JD was even able to get a salesman to our home the next day to go over options on systems, payment plans and whatever else we needed. And since other people in the neighborhood have been having water heaters go out and flood their basements we decided to just replace it all! We got a new furnace with humidifier, ac unit and flash water heater. The installers were courteous and efficient. I would recommend JD and Barlow to everyone! :)

We just had the most wonderful experience with Garrett at Barlow Heating, Air Conditioning, and Plumbing. We still have a home warranty and have been having some air conditioning issues. The first company that was sent to us through the warranty company was so rude and discourteous and lied about their pricing and service. We then called Barlow and it was a night and day difference. Garrett was so patient with us walking us through the entire system answering all of our many questions. His charges were all upfront and explained ahead of time. We appreciate how efficient he was. He has gained loyal customers! We signed up on the maintenance plan they offer and feel confident we are in good hands. Thanks so much Garrett and Barlow for your excellent customer service!

Outstanding service from start to finish. Dispatch personnel were very nice and were able to get us an appointment before any other local companies. Service Tech JD is a true professional, he quickly diagnosed the issues and replaced the parts in an efficient manner. He gave sound advice on how to resolve the issues in the most effective way without compromising quality nor breaking the bank. Additionally, I was very impressed at how willing JD was to educate the customer on HVAC basics as he was completing the work. During one of the worst winters in the last 5 years we could not be without heat, I am very glad we called Barlow Service Experts. Based on our experience I recommend them to anyone needing prompt, quality service at a fair price.

After a late day at work, I returned home around 9 pm to find that there was an issue with my A/C. It was incredibly hot that day and next few days were expected to be in the 100s. I searched google and found Barlow. I filled out an online service request to have someone come out and to resolve the issue, which was extremely convenient. I was expecting to have to endure the extreme heat, but to my surprise they actually scheduled an appointment for me the following day. Garrett, who was extremely knowledgable, showed up at my door and quickly diagnosed the issue. He was able to get the A/C up and running and explained everything every step of the way. I will definitely use Barlow for any future issues. Thanks Garrett for the help!

These guys were great. I was having issues with my cooling and needed a new AC unit. I had been calling around town for the past week or so trying to get someone to come out and when I got a hold of Barlow they sent someone out the day I called and then set up my new AC unit the next day. They were all friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. The technicians that set up my unit were Tyson and Victor. They were great at explaining the functions of the new AC unit to me and answered any questions I had. They were both professional and efficient. I would call Barlow again in the future and I will recommend them to anyone that would need their kind of services.

Geoff Raymond was the tech who came to my house. Personable guy and skilled. I have seen techs all over the world of various kinds and I know good skill when I see it. Replaced a capacitor. Not a mega complex job, and he educated me thoroughly about what I was seeing as I watched him work. He rearranged some wires to be sure they would not char in any heat. He presented a maintenance plan the company offers, and laid out all the options. I was so happy that moment that the problem was simple that I could not concentrate on the maintenance plan, so he left a brochure with me. Solid tech. Solid company.

I always request technician JD! He was training Stacy the day he came to do my annual service for my furnace and air conditioner. JD and Stacy did a fantastic job! They were and always very professional. JD is very knowledgeable and he is honest. My furnace and air conditioner were eighteen years old before I replaced them. He told me that I could possibly get one more year out of my air conditioner and a couple of more years out of my furnace. He called his sales guy Jared to just come talk to us, he does not work on commission. I love this company and would highly recommend using them!

The consultant we worked with, Joel Tanner, took the necessary time to evaluate our home and then clearly explain his recommendations. Joel was very responsive and adaptable as we shared some concerns. We had a new AC unit, tankless water heater, and water descaler installed. The HVAC installers, Kris and Nate, and the plumbing installers, Mike and Levi, did sound work that looks great. So far everything we paid for has met all of our expectations. Barlow is not the cheapest HVAC/plumbing company, but based on our experiences with cheaper companies Barlow is worth paying more.

This company is GREAT. They really know how to do things right. Not only did they complete the install the right way, they corrected deficiencies with my original installation. Nate, Val, and Justice were not only polite and courteous but they took the time to make suggestions and make it better. They clean up after themselves and are quite transparent while they are at your home. No doubt that I would hire them again. Wish I had have known of these guys when I built my house. The other contractor would not have gotten a dime if I had heard of these guys.

Barlow heating of Ogden has been great. When my ac unit went out they were here right away getting it up and running again. JD was a very knowledgeable tech and explained to me what he was checking and what I would need to plan for for future maintenance visits. He also was very accommodating with my German Shepard following him around. Great service all around! Thanks JD! And thank you to the great team at the Ogden service center from Katie scheduling my appointments and Jeoff who was the tech to get my a.c. running when it quit. Awesome team!

I was really was impressed with the service on how fast they were to get our furnace installed and their work is really good. Everyone who came out to help us were fantastic. Victor & Tyson were great at installing and explaining everything to us. Drew Tubbs was also great at making sure we were being taken care of and J.D. the service tech was also great because he explained what was wrong with the furnace. If you need something checked or installed go through these guys and ask for Drew. They have bent over backwards to help us out.

I had my furnace go out the other day and Barlow sent a technician out to service my problem. Trent came very promptly and knew how to fix the problem. He was very cordial and courteous and did a very good job...I have been pleased with every person I have worked with from Barlow - in fact, I suggested to a friend to call them when she needed a new furnace and we both are very glad for the professional service we receive from Barlow. I was told they would charge me $249 to do a sewer line scope for a client buying a new home, which was high anyways, and all of the sudden I get charged $485 on my card. The only reason they get a 3 star review and not a 1 is because they came out quickly to do it, and they did refund me $147, but still charged $89 for a "diagnostic" fee. What is to diagnose when I told you what to come out and do? Companies like this give contractors a bad rap because they charge all these bogus fees.

This is the second unit we have bought from Barlow Service Experts. Drew are sales person has been fantastic on both times, very professional, knowledgeable & a perfect gentleman. Zack Peterson came to my house to service my master toilet that was constantly running water. He was so knowledgeable and knew right away what the problem was and explained in terms that I could even understand. He was on time, which I love. And made sure he put his booties over his shoes so not to soil my carpets. He was most considerate. And fair in his pricing. I will definitely call Barlow Service Experts again in the future to do all my heating and air and plumbing work.

I recently had a new furnace and A/C unit installed. The furnace was installed by Justin and Tyson and the A/C unit was installed by Nate and Kris. Both crews called prior to arriving at the residence and were on time as scheduled. All the technicians were professional, knowledgeable, and answered any questions I had. The employees here keep me coming back. The service is prompt, courteous and efficient. The service technicians (today it was Darren, who has been to my home and condo before, and Isaac,, new employee) were pleasant and easy to understand and work with. Always enjoy the information they present and the knowledge I gain from their expertise. I am a nosy homeowner and always trying to glean some information from their service calls that might help me later.
