I initially received an advertisement letter from them after purchasing my home, stating they would like to transfer the warranty to my name from the previous owners. I assumed this was junk mail, however shortly after this, I had trouble with my air, and called them to find out more. They stated the unit was out of warranty but since it needed replaced due to a leak, I went ahead with it. Since having it installed 1 year ago, I have had to call for service around 6 times. Each time they have sent someone for service, they have found no leak in the unit but keep adding more coolant and then sending me a bill. The most recent time the unit was acting up, I called another company and they identified a leak immediately that required a repair. Not only was the team at air experts unable to identify the problem with the unit they installed, their dispatcher (Edna), seems to struggle constantly with her job. She schedules service without verifying the date/time with the homeowner first; when there is a cancellation, you do not receive a notice of why or when it will be rescheduled; and generally she operates in a tone at best described gruff but often rude. This week alone they cancelled my service appointment twice, once without informing me. Please save your money and your frustration by looking elsewhere for your A/C service needs.

Our AC unit recently started leaking. We contacted Air Experts because our units are still under warranty but only include parts, not labor. The dispatcher was very nice and due to the fact that my husband and I were leaving on vacation soon said she would have someone out that afternoon. To our surprise, the technician, Michael R., showed up an hour and a half after our call that day. Right off the bat he was very informative, friendly and professional. We found out there was a slight clog in our pump. He fixed it in under 5 minutes and the leaking stopped almost immediately. We were all set! :-) While Michael was here we asked him about an ultra violet light that we had been told about that kills mold and improves air quality. Since we are Air Expert customers we got a great price that is significantly lower than any other place we found online. Not only was it a great price, but he installed it immediately while he was here and it has a lifetime warranty. This is the second experience we have had with Air Experts and we highly recommend them! Thanks Michael for your quick and professional work!

Received cold call from Air Experts about continuing the warranty of my air conditioner compressor as I just purchased a location. They gave the perception that it was a continuation of a previous warranty. They pushed to get my credit card for the 5 year warranty going forward. However, on investigation I found that they are just scamming people who purchase homes in the Sarasota area. They have never worked on this location and they are just trying to get my credit card and bill me. On reviews on a number of sites they do not have favorable ratings. No thanks... if you have been upfront and not trying to scam me maybe we could have done business.

We got a postcard in the mail for a free air conditioning service. We had them come out and they told us the Freon was low and that our unit had a leak. They wanted $500 to fix the issue. We called our home warranty company and they sent someone out to look at the air conditioning unit and there was absolutely no problem. This company was trying to charge us $500 for something that was not necessary. I would not recommend this company. Be ware
