Stay far far away from this bunch!!! Had a pressure switch installed in March 2015 told my wife to call someone to take care of it then I went on to work. Turns out she chose the wrong plumbing company. She sometimes does not think very clear because of the chemo drug for the stage four lung cancer. But when the tech. told her they would wave the $69.00 service charge if they did the work so she thought it sounded pretty good. When I came home and saw the bill I thought they must of made a mistake.$305.00 in install well pressure switch!!! It took him around fifteen minutes to install it. I feel they took advantage of my wife by charging this outrageous price but she signed the agreement and we paid the bill. So now comes the real reason I needed to let everyone know why I am so displeased with this company. I have been in the retail tire business for many many years know all about how limited warranties work and do know from time to time that a good honest business needs to go beyond what the warranty states and simply TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER!!! So folks here is my issue with Blue Mountain. On May14th of this month while filling my camper with water at 10:30pm I all of a sudden lost water pressure. I knew I needed to something quick because my well also feeds a apartment that my elderly mother in law lives in and we were leaving to go out of town early the next morning I had no choice but to take care if this issue myself. Bottom line is that the switch that was supposed to be a genuine Square D product turned out to be a Chinese knock off that failed! Contacted them and ask if they could at least help with the cost of the part. Got no satisfaction because the way their warranty reads. All I wanted was a little compensation for the part but they would not help in any way. Again I know how warranties work but come on people this is terrible business. Just a little customer courtesy adjustment would have went a long way with me. Finally just wanted to add that the cheap part that was installed probably cost around $20.00 so I was charged $285.00 labor. I also know that you are in business to make money but come on people this is just robbery!!! And last but not least I have to say that I was very disappointed that the owner would not call me when I left messages. I guess he was to busy counting his $$$. I feel that I am fairly well known person in this area so I have no problem steering my family, friends, and business associates away from this establishment

Absolutely the best around. We have used Blue Mountain Plumbing, Heating and Cooling for over 10 years, and two different residences. Their customer service sets the standard for others to follow. The technicians are hands down the best around. Highly skilled technically (skilled to a theoretical **AND** operational engineering level). Every member of the company is inviting, engaging and easy to talk with, answering all questions. From the owner to the deck plate service technician and assistants, everyone works to ensure that the job(s) are done correctly the first time and the customer has received a quality product and service. Having been a customer for over ten years, we have seen the same technician with the company through the years. That shows a stable work force and therefore the company treats their employees well. On two separate occasions, their technicians delivered such a high level of service that my wife and I wrote two individualized letters of commendation to the owner of the company regarding two of his technicians, then we wrote each of the technicians a personal thank you letter. True professionals in every sense of the word who take pride in their work. Without reservation or qualification we highly recommend Blue Mountain Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. One a scale of 1-to-10, this company is a 12.

They are nice- When I told them i had a leaking pipe and my ceiling fell down with water running out they came really fast. They were here tomorrow. he saw my T joint was leaking and said he would need to get his ladder. he could see through the fallen down ceiling. So it was really good the ceiling was fallen cause then he could reach everything without having to break more walls. And he said a good price too. He said he could do it for 400.00 dollars. I couldnt have that much money for him so I said thank you. And I asked the man at Lowes what I needed to fix it he was very nice. I fixed the leak in 20 minutes! the leak is all the way gone! I am glad I could buy the parts I needed at Lowes. I am sorry I couldnt have the money to pay that man to fix it, I know for 400 he would have fixed it better than me.

Beware of "upfront pricing sheet" is how your job is billed. A pleasant and helpful receptionist/office manager answered call. Appointment was squeezed in but first Technician was held over at another job so they contacted me to verify address and have a different HVAC Technician come over. Technician spent less than 30-35 minutes diagnosing and replacing a simple dual start swollen capacitor (I can buy for $16 @ home depot) for a flat rate cost $215? Great people but prices are WAY off compared to other businesses in the area. Time and materials billing is always cheaper and holds the technician accountable for billing of job. Price doubling of parts is somewhat of a "norm" with all repair companies, garages, electricians, etc. But Labor doubling is not and will never be the "norm"

We had a great experience with Blue Mountain Plumbing. They were very flexible in working with our schedule to get a new air conditioning unit put in for us during these hot summer days. The service technicians were on time and worked quickly. They were very knowledgeable about their products and helped my husband and I make the best choice for our needs. We did need further communication about the different payment options but the office staff was wonderful in helping clarify what we needed to do and helping us get everything needed for the payment plan. We had a great experience with Blue Mountain!

I called Blue Mountain when my air conditioner did not work when turning it on for the first time this season. They were able to fit me in during a prime season when I was not a returning customer. They were up front about the fee to come out. The technician was on time which I rarely see happen and called when he was on his way. The technician we had knew exactly what he was doing and fixed the problem. The cost was a bit higher than I expected but I understand there is a slight premium when the company can fit you in before a month, the technician is on time and obviously knows what he is doing.

We are new to Waynesboro, needed a plumber to extend gas lines for dryer and stove and have a section of main drain line replaced. We did not know any businesses here, we called Blue Mountain and they sent Terry and 2 other guys over to do the job. They were very professional, did the job and left everything clean and working. We are very impressed with the work Blue Mountain accomplished for us and would recommend them very highly. Great team and Terry sure knows his stuff. Plumbers are expensive, and Blue Mountain is the very best, please call them if you have plumbing needs.

I contacted Blue Mountain Plumbing, Heating and Cooling to run a propane gas line to a new outdoor fireplace that I am adding to my backyard and Clark Brule and his crew came out in a timely manner, spoke with myself and the contractor building the fireplace and went to work at getting the permits and installing the gas line in a very prompt and professional manner. I will absolutely recommend Blue Mountain to all of my friends and family for any of their mechanical needs. I work for a builder in Charlottesville and only wish they did work on that side of the Mountain.

I hired Blue Mt. to install a new hot water heater. With this new install, I also had them move H2O heater placement and main water cut off valve from under the crawl space to a new location in my garage. Blue Mt. was recommended to me by a colleague who had did the same thing. Nate came out and explained very clearly what the best location would be, what would be done, and the cost of the project. Work was performed quickly and professionally. Garage was left spotless. I would hire them again and have recommended Blue Mountain to my friends.

Our heat went out in the middle of the night so we called Blue Mountain and they sent a representative out within the hour to diagnose the problem. Our technician was professional, friendly, informative, and funny. He checked our furnace and explained our issue in a way that was very easy to understand. This was my first time using Blue Mountain Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. The receptionist was very polite, the technician came within the hour. Travis showed me videos of the problem with air conditioner condensation pan leaking and discussed cost to fix it. I then chose to have repair done. Travis was very polite and knowledgeable. I will be using Blue Mountain for future plumbing, heating and cooling repairs!

I had a problem with my hot water baseboard boiler not working. I called Blue Mountain and they quoted me over $2,000 to fix the problem and also charged me a fee just to come out and look at it. Obviously, I am not a fool and knew there was nothing major wrong with the boiler as it is only 1 year old. I contacted another company after Blue Mountain and they fixed the problem and had me up and running for $140.

This time they worked on my air conditioner which stopped working just a few hours after I first turned it on this year. They replaced our substandard duct work with a brand new and much more efficient system and installed a new high efficiency heat pump unit. Awesome to say it in one word. We had a flood in September and it ruined our hvac system. They came out and gave a quote to our insurance company. Very reasonable. Worked with our insurance company very well. Service was great. But the whole new system in in only a day and a half. Would recommend them to anyone. Great!!!!
