I recently had the pleasure of working with Standard Insulating Company to plan and install spray foam insulation within my home. The sales staff were excellent to work with and provided valuable guidance on the proper application of the insulation to maximize its’ effectiveness. I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding work provided by the installation crew led by Ryan Bailey. Ryan was punctual, extremely efficient, knowledgeable, courteous and cleanly. He displayed meticulous attention to detail to ensure the installation was installed uniformly so that proper coverage was applied on all areas and took the time to thoroughly answer my questions regarding the installation process. I would highly recommend Standard Insulating Company and look forward to working with them and Ryan again with my future installation needs.

We were concerned about the energy efficiency of our 37 year old home and the furnace. After Jeff did an initial visual and infra-red study, Jason performed and energy study. We were given ideas to improve our energy costs and there was no "high" pressure. There were two teams that did work for us. One team did the work in our attic, the other in our basement. Both teams were courteous, conscientious and worked well together. Jason is scheduled to return to do a second energy study, so we can compare the differences of "Before and After". Standard Insulating prepared and submitted the paperwork necessary to receive a rebate on the work they completed.....which is another plus.

Gary & John were at my home by 7:10 am and respected my wishes to give me time to get myself moving (I am disabled & need time to move around to loosen my back in the am). I was able to get them in the house around 7:30 am. They described the work that was going to be done then preceèded to do the work. They were very professional & considerate. I had a problem with a small pipe breaking & John went beyond what he should have done to help me. I was very impressed with this young man. Gary & John made sure everything was cleaned up before they left.

A friend suggested I try Standard when I wanted to get my crawl space insulated. When I phoned I talked with a staff member who seemed pleased I was inquiring, they sent out an inspector that was pleasant to deal with and was helpful to answer my questions. The installers were polite, went right to work, and left no mess for me to clean up. Within a day or two a representative phoned to make sure I was pleased with the results. I would not hesitate to recommend Standard to someone who needed insulation for their home.

Very happy with standard insulating - all the people involved in helping with paperwork, getting approval and getting the work done were very professional and helpful. Shannon in the office came to my home with paperwork and explained the Empower program - Jason came and evaluated what needed to be done. Richard called and scheduled. Andrew V and Nick were very helpful answering questions and concerns and completed the insulation job. All of this process was done in a matter of a few weeks. Recommend highly.

Talked to people from Standard Insulating at the Home show. They came to my home and explained their products and how I might be able to get help from New York State. They did all the paperwork for me. About 2 weeks later they called me and said I was approved. The job was finished in 2 days. Their workers did a good job and cleaned up everything. I hope to save money next heating season. I will write another review next year.

Just to confirm the reviews. What everyone is saying here is true. I used standard for a good sized spray foam job in Oneonta NY and they did an excellent job. Normally they say you can have two out of three: price, quality and speed. I am confident I received all three. A well done job completed quickly and for the best price I found for spray foam.
