When we moved back to Fargo and built our home, we knew we’d be shopping around for insurance. I contacted multiple people that I personally knew for quotes on our home and auto policies. Our current “big-box” auto agent’s office sent us their quote, but we were never contacted by our actual agent. Another agent I knew in town forwarded on our information to a member of his team and while I did talk with this person, he didn’t go into great detail or recommend additional coverages. After our that conversation, we didn’t receive any follow up asking for our business. Nick at Great North Insurance sold us on their business and their best policy from the start. Nick didn’t just send me the quotes, he spent a great deal of time with me explaining the coverages we had (auto) and what he’d recommend for more realistic protection (home & auto). In reality, we probably lacked the coverage we needed with the other two quotes. Great North Insurance had the best price, while providing us with GREATER coverage and peace of mind. They also have the staff in place to meet all of our needs. When I filed a personal articles claim, a quick call to their office and they did all the leg work in getting the ball rolling with the insurance company. We notified them we bought a new vehicle and received a speedy turnaround in updating our policy. What I appreciate in both of these cases was not just the quick and friendly service, but that I didn’t have to spend “my” time getting it done, which is often the case these days with other companies. Personally working in the financial industry, I ran into a work situation where a deal wasn’t going to go through because the borrowers’ insurance premium was too high for them to qualify. I told them to call Nick (not realizing he was out of the office). His team at Great North Insurance stepped in, approved our borrowers and saved them hundreds of dollars on their premium. You will not be disappointed with Great North Insurance. Trust them with your business and they will take care of you!

Almost two years ago, my husband and I switched all of our insurance to Great North Insurance. Previously, we were customers at a well-known, national insurance company; however, after seeing our rates jump considerably after filing a small claim with our renter’s insurance, we decided to shop around. Our experience at Great North Insurance has been nothing but positive and satisfactory. We worked closely with Nick to discuss all of our insurance needs and not only did our overall insurance costs decrease, Nick also expanded our coverage on several policies. A few months later when we purchased a new vehicle, Great North made the insurance transition seamless; and, a few months later when our car needed a new windshield, Great North made a great recommendation for the repair. No one wants to pay more than they need to for great insurance coverage, but what we like most about Great North is we always know they are only a phone call away if we have questions or need assistance.

I have had my home & auto insurance with GNIS for about three years or so & every time I have been in need GNIS has been there for me!!! I just recently got the infamous acronym DUI & I have received nothing but the BEST insurance care EVER!!! Of course I was booted from my current insurance but Jamie & the GNIS staff have made my auto policy transition HASSLE FREE!!! Updating me on EVERYTHING!!! While still looking out for my home owners insurance by letting me know to keep my home owners insurance where it is because my forthcoming insurance company does not even come close to insuring my house with what I currently have for home owners insurance WHO DOES THAT?!!! GNIS!!! GNIS FOR LIFE!!!

My wife and I were referred to Nick three years ago when our home insurance was going to be canceled because of a excessive claim do to a malfunctioning toilet that ended up causing extensive water damage to all three floors of our home. Nick was able to get us the same coverage for less price. We bundle 4 autos, a moped, an atv and a camper along with our home. Excellent Customer Service! I was in a vehicle accident and Stephanie was able to get me a rental car, open a claim, coordinate with the other drivers insurance, and get repairs started in less than an 1 hour from me calling the office. They are willing to go the extra mile and make sure that the claim and customer is satisfied all the way until the end! They are also very competitively priced which makes using their services a no-brainer!
