Here is a little backstory: My wife and I were in the process of planning a vacation when we stumbled upon our dream home. We didn’t have as much money saved for a down payment so we thought we would be going with a 3.5% down payment FHA loan. When I got pre-approved, I was shocked to see what our estimated monthly mortgage payments would be. I decided to shop around for lenders to find someone who would give us the best services with the lowest rates. Like our dream home, we happened to have stumbled upon Tyler Osby and his team through a mutual friend on Facebook. I went to one of Tyler’s workshops after contacting him via email which I would recommend everyone to do if they are serious homebuyers. I like to understand the whole home buying process and Tyler was able to provide me with all the information I needed. Some information I knew by researching beforehand and other information was new to me. Trust me, there is a lot and Tyler understands it all. Because we wanted to make this home our “forever home” and planned to live in for many years, Tyler was able to provide me with enough information and help me make informed decisions that would help us finance our dream home. We decided to go with 5% down, and finance closing costs and seller paid PMI into our loan. Doing it this way saved us about $200 in monthly payments and thousands of dollars over the life of the loan. Even if this is not your situation Tyler and his team can help anyone out. A couple of the things that I admired about Tyler were his knowledge in the lending business and his drive to help home buyers understand the entire process through his workshops. Even if you decide to not go with Tyler Osby and his team, he will be happy to have made you more informed in the process. I liked to ask a lot of question in emails and I was amazed by his response time: days or nights, week or weekends. He generally cares for all of his clients and he proves it. There were no hiccups in the closing and his motto of “On time. Under budget. No Surprises” held true.

First off I would like to say THANK YOU! to Tyler and the team! It was such a tremendous experience working with you guys! Everything that they did was absolutely amazing! From the level of professionalism that everyone in the office carried to keeping us informed each week as they progressed through our loan! They were very knowledgeable and answered our questions without delay! They were also very quick about the entire thing as well! We originally were going to use the bank but they were not getting back to us with any information at all. ever. After doing a little bit of research i found Tylers Team! As I said before they did not disappoint! They kept us informed at all times and when they found any new information out they let us know right away! and our Loan was not an easy one to explain either! I especially enjoyed watching the short informational videos that they emailed out each week (called weekly wisdom) as it gave a little bit of insight into their world! If you are a first time homebuyer i would recommend a few things: First and foremost Choose this wonderful group of people to help! Second, Attend the workshops that they have to offer. While We personally did not attend, based on the weekly wisdom videos, I quickly made the assumption that it would have been a great idea to do! Closing was a quick and painless process as well, everything went very smooth and they even were so kind as to give me a birthday card since we closed on my birthday! From the First time we entered their office to the time we got the keys to our wonderful new home was about a month! Great timing! After we moved in we had FINALLY gotten a decision letter from the bank, who would have denied our loan anyway! Tyler and his Team have our FULL Support and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anybody looking for their new home!

My wife and I are first time home buyers and I CANNOT stress enough the importance of working with a quality mortgage broker. This company, from top to bottom, is hands down the best in town! From the start, our real estate agent referred us to them and within minutes of our inquiry, they responded quickly and professionally. Working with their staff, they gave us a quick rundown of everything we needed to get the process started. In our case, we found our dream home fairly quick and were worried about the mortgage process slowing us down and possibly delaying or outright ending our purchase. NO JOKE, this team went to work for US on a Friday night, we got them all the relevant information on Saturday, and by Sunday morning, returned us Pre-Approval letters ---and there was no scam or pushy technique, they delivered EVERYTHING we wanted and didn’t pressure us into anything else. Every email and phone call with questions was answered faster than I ever thought possible. They sent us weekly reminders and twice weekly updates to ENSURE our transaction was on OUR schedule. I literally cannot even tell you how personal their service was…I know they help MANY people all the time, but the service and attention we received honestly felt like this company was solely working for us. If you are a brand new home buyer, or heck even purchased many homes in the past, the Tyler Osby team will ALWAYS work for you and guide you every step of the way. If you are looking for quality service from knowledgeable, hardworking and honest people…this is the best choice!

The Tyler Osby Team came highly recommend from both a family member and our realtor. Having had a great experience now ourselves, we would highly recommend them as well! We met with Tyler and his team prior to putting our house on the market. They helped us ballpark proceeds and model payment options to gauge our price range for a new home. Even before we listed our home, they asked for our financial documents and got moving. We are very thankful for that, as our home sold in two days! Once we found a new home, we had just over three weeks until closing on both homes. Tyler and his team were able to meet this timing without any hiccups. The process went very smoothly and we felt very confident in their ability to make this happen. Shortly after our offer on the new home was accepted, we came home to a nice surprise – cake balls and a gift card from Cache (yum!) with a note of congratulations from Tyler and his team. Buying a home is stressful and this was a thoughtful surprise that made us smile! We had absolutely no stresses with Tyler and his team. Nothing felt last minute. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Our previous home buying experience several years ago with a large, well-known lender did not leave us with the same satisfaction. My husband and I are first time homebuyers who started thinking about buying a house in Spring of 2016. We attended Tyler’s first time homebuyer workshop where we learned A LOT about the steps involved with buying a home. After running some numbers, we decided to wait for a while to pursue anything. Tyler asked when he should follow up and we told him to in the Fall. We got a nice casual check-in email in the Fall, but we still were not ready. Tyler was very understanding throughout this time and asked again when to follow-up. This time we told him in the Spring of 2017, but we actually ended up contacting him before that. This is one of the best things about Tyler and his team – they don’t pressure into doing something you aren’t ready to do, and they actually follow-up! Tyler was also able to refer us to a great real estate agent! We completed the application and had a one-on-one call within a day or two. We felt a lot more confident going into house-hunting knowing that we were fully pre-approved and had Tyler and his team on our side. They laid out everything we needed to send them, sign, and do in a very organized manner and were very easy to get ahold of whenever needed. We are so glad we chose to work with Tyler and his team. Just like they promised – we closed on time, under budget, and with no surprises. We wouldn’t recommend anyone but Tyler and his team to first time homebuyers, or really anyone looking to buy a home.

We were buying our first house, and our realtor recommended that we contact Tyler to discuss mortgages and lending. We elected to submit an electronic inquiry, and the process became immediately straight-forward. Tyler’s team contacted us by email with instructions on the next step, and we scheduled a time to speak by phone and arrange for an in-person meeting. We were not previously familiar with mortgage applications, however Tyler explained each step, told us the ‘why and when’ of what we’d be doing, and guided us along the way. Once on the mailing list, we were able to access various methods to gather more information for first-time buyers, including email, text, website, video seminar, or in-person seminar. Along the way, after we’d agreed in principal to purchase a home, Tyler sent periodic emails to us, the realtor, and the seller’s realtor, to notify everyone of updates or further documentation. In the end, we met with Tyler for a painless and enjoyable closing. On a personal note, we truly enjoyed our encounters with Tyler. He is professional, prepared, and reliable. And just as importantly, he is personable and relatable. While applying for a mortgage is an important life decision, it can also be a pleasant experience. This was my second time working with Tyler and his dream team to buy a home and we will definitely be working with him in the future. We had some pretty stressful situations arise during our home buying process this time around, but Tyler and his team were one of the few things that stayed steady and calm through the entire process and I would say they went above and beyond to keep things on track. Their ability to communicate with accuracy and timeliness was by far the best I have experienced as a customer anywhere. They let us know about everything that was needed from us well in advance to ensure we had everything in early for a smooth transaction for our purchase (I soo wish the buyer of our old home had been using Tyler too and saved us all a lot of stress!) Tyler and his team also sent us weekly status updates with changes highlighted so we could see exactly what was going on and what to expect next. They were always available to answer any of the questions we had along the way and if we did have to leave a message when they were meeting with another client, they would usually call us back within an hour or two. There aren’t many places I can say I have experience the high caliber of quality service that we received from Tyler and his team. They have been and continue to be awesome and I would recommend working with them to anyone who wants a great home buying experience.

Tyler and his team did an all-around excellent job of helping us buy our first home. They went above and beyond in putting our needs first and making sure we were kept in the loop throughout the entire process. When we first started looking into buying a house we had visited one of the big banks to speak with a mortgage representative. Shortly after, we received a recommendation to take Tyler’s first time home buyer’s workshop. After the workshop we knew that we wanted Tyler to help us work through one of our biggest purchases. Regardless if you are looking to purchase a home in the near term or down the road, we would highly recommend attending the workshop. Tyler gives you some great and honest insight into the mortgage process in a relaxed and non-sales type environment. After we had our offer accepted, Tyler and his team broke down what to expect over the upcoming weeks.
