If I could leave zero stars I would. This has been a true trip down the road to hell and our loan officer Beau Charbonneau was driving us straight there! If you get assigned this man RUN!!! From the start he knew we were first time home buyers and gave us NO information on how things work and what we needed to look for. We discovered it all on our own through trial and error. He was available in the beginning and as soon as we found a home he got pushy about moving the closing date up and even harrased our Relator to push us to do the same. So we did, we moved up the closing date by 3 weeks to appease him. The closer we got to the closing date the more he was not available. He would not answer emails and his phone would go straight to voicemail. The day before closing he calls and says the loan is not going through because of an issue with my student loans that he had me clear up a month prior in the middle of me dealing with my Mom going through Radiation treatments for her terminal breast cancer. He was not phased one bit and very pushy during that time. So to hear after he harrased me during a hard and personal moment in my life was for NOTHING I WAS FURIOUS! He even tried to turn my husband and I against each other by saying he did this and that when it was furthurest from the truth. Beau took it upon himself to lock us into an interest rate that was 1% higher than what we were told we were locked in to. Now we are 2 1/2 weeks PAST our closing date and still unsure if we will close this week. He cost us $500 that we had to pay to the seller to amend the contract yet again or we were going to be without a home and out $2500. Now if we do not close by Thursday we will be without a home and out $3000. And do you think Beau even said he was sorry we had to pay $500??? Run from this man, run far far away if you want to save your sanity and not be out thousands of dollars.

My husband and I started our pre-approval process in March with Mrs. Janet Samson. Mrs. Janet helped us every step of the way to assure our pre-approval went smoothly and helped us be able to get into our first home. With this being our first home, we were basically clueless as to a lot that had to go on and Mrs. Janet was beyond patient with my hundreds of questions and sometimes misunderstandings. She went above and beyond anything we could’ve asked for! She would work long hours working on our file to ensure we could close on our house in a timely manner. We did run into some bumps in the road, at no fault of MLOA, but Mrs. Janet worked tirelessly to ensure everything would work out as it was supposed to. I know she must have had many files she was working on, but every time I spoke with her, I felt like I was the most important to her at the time. If I were to buy another house, I wouldn’t consider anyone but Mrs. Janet.

Scott Ponick at Mortgage Lenders of America is the most knowledgeable and professional mortgage broker on the planet! This is the third time I have used Scott as a mortgage broker and each time I am amazed at how good he is at his job. He goes way out of his way to make sure your paperwork gets processed quickly and correctly, all the while keeping you informed at every step of the process. He also gives you the best deal in town (lowest interest rate and closing cost assistance)!! Aside from all that, he is very easy to work with and I trust him completely. I will definitely use him again for my next home purchase or refinance and will continue to recommend him to my friends. Scott, you are the BEST!!!

I worked with Breanna Freed at Mortgage Lenders of America for the second time and I cannot say enough great things about Breanna! She is very responsive and truly cares about what is best for the customer. She was so efficient, that I closed early on the first purchase and I could have closed early on the second purchase if the seller would have agreed to it. Breanna is professional, courteous, quick to respond and so very good at what she does! She was very understanding when we went through hurricane Irma and even picked up the ball while everyone was dealing with debris and power outages. Again, I cannot say enough about her excellent customer service and superb work ethic!!

My wife and I would like to thank Mortgage Lenders of America, especially Janet, who kept working for us even though our loan process hit many snags along the way. From the IRS losing our tax return to helping us through the self employed part of our income they were champs. They never gave up and always kept working for us. We live in Wisconsin but had no problems working with them even though they are located in Kansas. Closing was quick and efficient and handled professionally. We feel that anyone who chooses Mortgage Lenders of America for their loan needs will have made a great choice.

I really hope you forward this message to the CEO of your company. What an abysmal experience it has been TRYING to work with Scott Ponick. I have perfect credit and was trying to do a Refi with cash out. He gave me one quote and when I asked him to increase the money out I never heard back from him. He SIMPLY IGNORED ME. Is this the way your company wants to be recognized online? As a company that simply ignores it’s customers? All I can say is social media is a powerful tool and Scott’s choice to not engage is being reflected online by me and many other customers.

Lisa Kagy was our loan officer. Our original mortgage application was going fine until they discovered the home and land we were to purchase was considered agricultural, due to the size of the property and the tax records. Lisa started the process and was so easy to work with and very knowledgeable about VA loans and farmland. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone seeking a mortgage, especially for a home with acreage. We closed on time and are extremely happy with Lisa and MLoA.

I am veteran. I was receiving HUD VASH money. In speaking wit their agent DARRY DAVENPORT I was assured a LOAN... I gave up my HUD He sent me a letter stating I was qualified. Now he is stating I should have read the fine print. Now I am without housing... I threatened to sue. He told me to go ahead with a laugh.... He stated his attorneys know how to handle the situation. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY..... Military if you do it is at your own risk... READ THE FINE PRINT<>>>>? BEWARE

I would not recommend this company to anyone. I kept getting lied to just to get my business. The loan officer was the most rude person that I have ever dealt with. She was very boistrous and would not let me get a word in. I feel like the home buying experience is a very sensitive time and you should be made to feel comfortable. This company showed very little integrity. Take it from someone who had to change lenders 3 weeks before closing.
