Mr. Brett Haid Senior Loan Officer with CapWest Loans, HomeBridge Financial Services, has explained the loan process to me with the most honest and professional way. I was introduced to CapWest via Costco website. I filled-in basic loan inquiry, within minutes, I got a call from Mr. Brett. He then followed-up with an email confirming all what he had explained to me over the phone. Several times, I have emailed Mr. Brett at night time, surprisingly, he still responded. I am a demanding person and ask a lot of questions, but he never got tired of me and answered all questions. What a dedication to reply for work related emails after business hours (Thank you) Many locals discouraged me from doing home finance over long distance, myself being in OR and Mr. Brett in KS. My closing period was short only 30 days, Mr. Brett promised to close on or before, and he delivered before 30 days. The process was very smooth and easy, the secured website data-share made it even better. What was also amazing to me is that loan origination fees were approximately $35 after the lender credit received for being a Costco member (this is a big saving). I will recommend Mr. Brett and his Team to every person I know who is in need of financing. We were able to take advantage of interest rates at historic lows and successfully refinance our house in San Diego County with CapWest via Costco at the very best terms available, closing in October, 2016. Our loan officer, Brett Woolston, was exceptional. Although I know that his volume of clients was likely unprecedented due to the favorable rates, he made us feel as if we were the only ones. He responded very quickly to every single email inquiry throughout the process (and there were many!), and took every bump in the road in stride. Brett engendered a feeling of confidence from the beginning and never once let us down. If he said that he was going to do something, he did it. At the interest rate we captured, I seriously doubt that we will ever refinance again, but if we do I would without a doubt use Brett Woolston.

My loan officer Mr. Clarence Miller was fantastic and a true professional thru the whole process even following up with me after the closing. We were working with another mortgage company Then we found Cap West through Costco services. We worked with Christopher Fischer and he was extremely honest. He worked hard to come up with several mortgage options and prices. It was nice to get numerous options & to know you are working with an honest person.... That made us commit to Cap West! We had a small problem and were possibly closing a day later than expected. We had a refrigerator and fencing being delivered over the weekend. Christopher called people and got us closed by the end of the day! We appreciate that he was willing to work late to help us. I personally WILL use Cap West Mortgage again! Thank you Cap West!

Go to YELP and look at the reviews about CapWest there to get a true understanding of what their customers think of them. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before starting with Capwest Mortgage. The rates were good so I kept the discussion going. They locked my rate and started the process before I agreed to anything, and then several times asked me to "just sign and worry about the details later" when I objected to terms in the agreement. I am now working on a chargeback on my deposit since the manager Ryan tried to blow smoke at me and in a nice way told me to buzz off. Avoid these guys and use a reputable lender.

Got everything going as expected, closed on time. A great place, Nth refinance with Ryan and Capwest and happy to have chosen this crew. We have been working together for past 3+ years and it has been a smooth sailing. Good rates, not among the cheapest, but for the 1/8th point extra the efficiency, and the ability to close on time it is hard to match. We have had burnt before with some lenders who offer a bit too aggressive rates but often tend to overload their queue, and end up not being able to close on time or just do not have what it takes to underwrite a complex loan file. What a pleasent experiance. I started off by applying for a pre-approval to start the house hunting process. CapWest was the first to respond to our request. After recieving a call Scott Casida with CapWest he kinda to the lead and helped us throught the process. From the time we were pre-approved to close was less than 45 days. I went through Costco and selected CapWest from the lineup of possible bankers/brokers. Their offering from guaranteed lock-ins for extended periods without extra fees, to guaranteed appraisal costs caused me to question if everything was on the up and up. However, everything proceeded exactly as it was presented. Bobby Afrasiabi took great care of me. As painless of a process as refinancing possibly can be. Should I have the needs to refinance down the line, I will be using his services again.

Cannot begin to describe my frustration! I was told we should be able to close in 30 days. We are now into week 6, still no closing date. At one point I was told we should have a closing date in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I was told next Wednesday, Wednesday I was told end of the week. Here we are a week later, no date in sight. Really at a loss on how to get my refinancing closed. Disappointed in Costco, CapWest and FirstChoice.
