James Lavelle State Farm agency is top notch and exactly the quality of customer service anyone living and working in NYC comes to expect. The knowledge of the staff at James Lavelles is far superior then any other agency I have dealt with in the past. Joanne is my State Farm rep who has been able to answer every question with expertise and kindness. I have my home, auto, and life policies with James Lavelles office all because Joanne was able to explain the need and benefit of multiple policies. James Lavelles State Farm has a life long client due to there superior customer service and quality.

Stay far away from this agency, I have been with them for well over 20 years, never had a claim. I just filed my first claim and needed their assistance, Jessica or James would assist. I will be looking for a new agent and if I cannot find one, then I will be looking to change insurance companies all together. They are fine to collect your money but that is all they are good for. Notice all the positive reviews are in the area of sales. They are terrific at selling you / quoting you to get your business but I hope none of you ever have a claim, if you do, you are on your own!

Buyer Beware. As unprofessional a company as I have ever witnessed. Clearly Lavelle and his group do not care about his clients and it shows. Rarely if ever did I receive an email/call with regard to any concerns with my policy. Bills were botched each and every month for 6 months requiring hours of calls to the main office to clear the mess. To top it off, I was being billed for an additional policy I had not even signed up for. I am moving on starting tomorrow. And if I could enter zero stars I would.
