As a long time Geico customer I decided to contact a local Geico agent to receive a personalized service on my homeowners insurance. I spoke to a lady, who at first sounded concerned and wanted to help me. She received all of my personal information including my credit card number and told me that she would call me back with a quote. After waiting and waiting, I decided to call her, she was never there, then I finally got a hold of her and she explained to me that she needed more information from me, she was rude and condescending, I never received a straight answer from her and got tired of the run around. So I contacted Geico directly and explained to them what happened and they informed me that she has given me an incorrect "quote". Later that day my credit card company contacted me asking me about several strange transactions. I now have to clear it with them that I was not the one who made all those bogus purchases, what a nightmare! Stir clear from the Geico office in Oxnard!!!! They will lie to you and ruin your credit.
