there was nothing wrong with my ac unit but i wanted it cleaned. i called and asked for a price on having the evap unit cleaned. the lady said it would be 80.00. great, when can you do it. they come over and thats when the costs started adding up. before i know it they wanted me to be a gold member customer and the bill was 440.00! i was not to happy. so i asked them just to do the job i hired them to do. that job was now 163.00 PLUS 79.00 diagnostic. 242.00 now lol. they had to diagnose what i hired them to do??? i wasnt paying it. so they wanted 79.00 for their trip out there lol. he then comes back and says they will do it for 163.00 and 39.00 diagnostic. TRY AGAIN. he comes back and says 163.00. im like fine. i wanted the job done. the repairman was nice and doing his job (while trying to upsell like crazy!). they REFUSED to honor their price. the lady i spoke with on the phone is probably the one to blame not understanding what i wanted done. so it cost me more than TWICE what she said. i knew exactly what i wanted done. 79.00 to tell me what i want done on a working ac unit?? this was overall pretty unprofessional. and very costly.

I have complete confidence in Tin Man to maintain the heating and air conditioning in the home where my elderly mother lives alone. The home is 20 years old, the aging original AC and furnace have both been replaced by Tin Man; the AC two years ago and the furnace this month. Last summer we hired Tin Man to clean the duct work from the crawlspace to upstairs which improved the air flow throughout the house by getting rid of years of accumulated dust and lint. I maintain an annual service agreement with Tin Man. They check out the systems twice a year. My Mom is 90 years old, I live several states away so I need a trustworthy company to keep Mom cool and warm. We have been a Tin Man customer for six years and Mom has always been cool and warm with no drama or disasters. I like that. I like the 24/7/365 service availability too if it is ever needed. The Tin Man service techs have always been on-time, courteous and professional. I highly recommend them.

I am very pleased with Tin Mans services. My heat was off when I came home in the evening and I called Tin Man and they sent Josh, a very nice and thorough tech out to inspect my furnace that night. He showed me a crack and said it was not safe to try to run it overnight, but they had Ken here in the AM and he went over everything about a new furnace and air conditioner which were both 23 years old. His crew was here in the afternoon already to install the new units. They were all very professional and courtious. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I were VERY pleased with Tim Man Heating and Cooling services. Adam was the first person we talked with and was very knowledgeable. Adam made my husband and I feel confident in our choices when finding the perfect water heater and furnace after experiencing water damage in our basement. Adam sat down with us and explained every little detail and answered all our questions. The installers who came out the next week were very respectful and hardworking. Overall, I was very satisfied with Tin Man and recommend them.

When my furnace died, Tin Man came out: that day, and gave me an estimate on the cost of a new furnace. They showed me an easy way to finance the new furnace and scheduled the install date that day. The installers were outstanding. Overall, I was highly satisfied with Tin Man and will recommend them to all of my friends.

Terrible Experience. Was told my furnace was unsafe that it could be leaking carbon monoxide. No detector was brought into make sure there was no carbon monoxide. Temporarily fixed and was told it could get us through the weekend. But left us with an unsafe furnace that could be leaking carbon monoxide.

They did a great job at our house. In and out in one day with everything cleaned up and finished. New AC/HV and water heater. Very responsive.
