After months of waiting for our house to be built we were told they did not have the wall board we selected - they had our order in January and did not have the wall board for it in June when they finally started building it. All of the craftsmanship seems very poor. They tried to hide holes they put in the wall by adding additional strips over it which looked very tacky. It seems like the employees were very careless. We have numerous random trash items under our carpet and linoleum, there is dry wall mud all over our carpets and wallboards, none of the crown molding lines up, the floor was scratched upon delivery, they failed to install add-ons we paid for and when we had the dealer submit the list of problems they tried to claim we did not order said ad-one even though our order form clearly shows it. I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the home they produced and the minimal efforts made to correct the problems.

The cabinets are said to be made of real wood but they are already flaking after six monthes. Already had workers to come out after two months to fix the front door that was falling from the top hindge.stripes pulling from panel.doors not closing. Sharp edges on counters.bathroom mirror falling. And now the faucets handle is fading and the sink is all scratchedso many areas of imperfection

Do not buy from them! No Service from Service Dept! Watch Out! Had to hire an attorney! They do not fix everything on your list! I have Mold in a brand new 6 month old house and they tell me to call State and get inspection!!!!! Read FINE PRINT ON WHAT THEY FIX!!!!

Worst customer service I have ever NOT dealt with! All kinds of problems with home...been waiting for months for someone to fix them! They will not return my phone calls or messages! Buyer beware..DONT BUY A SCOTBUILT HOME THEY DONT WARRANTY THEM & THEY DONT CARE!
