Tim Hart made my first experience buying a home and applying for a mortgage loan bearable. I was pretty green when I started the process and I was very nervous. From the very beginning, Tim guided me, helping me to determine what I could realistically afford and how I needed to improve my financial situation to achieve my goal of buying my first house. Throughout the process, I had several "freak out" moments where I did not understand documents, figures, etc., and Tim talked me through each situation. He even called me at 8 pm from home one night because he knew how confused I was about my GFE and wanted to be sure I understood it and was ok. Now that is amazing service! On the day of closing, my title company even complimented Tim and Van Dyk Mortgage, saying that most lenders with whom she works do not have complete paperwork to her in such a timely fashion. Overall, my experience with Tim Hart and Van Dyk Mortgage was incredible, and I will always recommend them to friends and family and use them in the future. Thanks, Tim! You rock!

I have dealt with numerous mortgage companies but NO other compares to VanDyk! Communication was impeccable, unlike others, there was no mystery as to where you are in the process and what you need to do to meet underwriting guidelines. They also are efficient in the use of their web site. Uploading documents was a dream and you were able to track the receipt of those documents and the updated status of the application. The best example of wonderful service is that they not only met the requested closing date, they advanced the closing by four days at our request. That is unheard of with mortgage companies, who often delay and jeopardize the purchase of your property. I recently went to VanDyk Mortgage to apply for a loan. Tim Hart and his team were very helpful, knowledgeable, and understanding of my financial situation. Tim did his BEST and provided me with an excellent loan terms. I only spoke with him a few times during the entire process, and he answered my questions promptly. He was available all the time by e-mail or by phone. He dealt efficiently with the underwriter and all the necessary paperwork to make my loan come through. A week ago, I closed on my property!
