My husband and I were shopping for a new roof to help us sell our home here in Redding. We had heard of Tugwell, seen them at the Civic Auditorium for Home and Garden Shows, seen their ads on television, and also had watched them several times in our neighborhood putting up roofs for our neighbors. We decided to call them along with several other companies to obtain a sample of estimates. They came out immediately to give us an estimate and then sent out a representative to help us decide on the roof that was perfect for us. We obtained the best estimate for our new roof from Tugwell so we decided to sign with them. On the day they started the work we had several home showings and we let the roofers know that people would be coming and going several times that day. The workers were not only very friendly and courteous to us but on their own initiative kept our driveway and walkways leading to the front door swept clean so that roof debris never created a hazard or was even evident. We not only ended up with a new beautiful roof that showed off the house to its best advantage but we also sold the house before the roofers were finished with their work. Tugwell Roofing did a fantastic job on my roof, so much my neighbors all stopped and commented on it. Everyone from the estimator, foreman and the installers were so pleasant to work with. They were respectful, kind and clean. The installers picked up after themselves daily and were very friendly and considerate. This was one of the largest purchases I have had to make for my home so I was cautious when it came time to do the work; I had gotten several quotes, some higher and some lower but ultimately it was the way Tugwell worked with me and answered my questions and concerns. During my installation we had a surprise rain shower on a Sunday and they sent an installer out to make sure everything was papered and covered. Superior service & communication from start to finish. Tugwell Roofing was a choice that I am very glad I made for the replacement of my roof. Excellent work, everyone friendly, professional and friendly. They gave me an estimate for repair work because of water damage that was discovered after the old roof was taken off, and they worked hard and brought the cost significantly under the estimate. After the roof was done I managed to damage several shingles putting on some rain gutter guards, and they replaced them for me at no cost when they inspected my roof a few days later. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and I am glad I went with Tugwell, they had been recommended to me.

We experienced a pretty bad leak on our roof (and eventually our ceiling) in the last rainstorms we had here in Redding and tried calling various local roofing companies in emergency and no one returned our call EXCEPT Tugwell Roofing Co..
