I hired Northeast Home & Energy (Dec. 2015) to do an inspection on my home to find out ways we could reduce energy consumption, and identify areas in the home where we might losing heat to the attic on the third floor. They did a thorough job going through our home and explained, in detail, the work that could be done to our home the help out in both of those areas. The consultant was detail oriented and friendly throughout the visit. The next step was Northeast Home & Energy hiring a contractor, and scheduling the job (Jan. 2016). The contracted company was very professional, and just as thorough. They clearly explained all of the work they would be doing, gave me an accurate timeframe, and walk me through all the areas they would be performing tasks. The crew of workmen were pleasant and efficient, getting the entire job done a little earlier than expected. They did a final walk through with me to show me the finished product (spray insulation, resealing vents, added insulation to doors etc.) and it has all turned out to be a success (two months later, big differences felt in the home).

We used Northeast through the Mass Save program so the work was laid out for the crew before they had even arrived. The crew was professional and despite the snow that had fallen the night before did their best to keep the mess to a minimum. During the work an unexpected issue came up. It was explained to us, what would be needed to continue, and what the extra costs would be. Although we have not been inundated with sub-zero temps we feel the insulation has made a big difference in the house holding its heat. We also applaud the crew that was here for working in a really tight attic!

My experience with Northeast Home & Energy was excellent! They are a family owned business and really care about each of their customers. They stick to their appointments and will go out of their way to make the experience of working with them a very pleasant one. Please consider hiring them when looking for a contractor, you will not be discouraged.

The experiences I had withg Northeast Home & Energy was very poor. When they finish the roof,I found roof nails all around my house i e my lawn,walkways and driveway the foundation of my house is already have cracks. The rep,charge me to o much money for very poor work I want all my money back I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH NORTHEAST HOME AGAIN
