Outrageous "fees" apply here. I have great standing with another credit union and 2 credit cards, yet this was enough to grant me merely a savings account–no checking and no debit card–with SELCO. They charge me money if I have less than $100 in my savings, claiming a "service fee" which makes zero sense as smaller numbers take up less digital space, literally. They charge money to cash your paychecks so you must deposit them before you can access your money. All around a sure way to feed off the poor and let those with enough money to be worry free. It makes no sense to fine the poorest and most unqualified as a means to help them earn their way into a stronger stance of greater responsibility. Screw these guys.
